Amazing experience overall. I have reserved an suv and they gave me a Honda CR-V 2019, but I had needed a seven seater afterwards for the long weekend to take my family out. I spoke to Luca and he switched me into a Kia Sorento 2019 with no issues! The car still smelled like the new car scent with only 800kms on it! When I needed to return the car I had been stuck in traffic, so I called in and let them know that I will be running a 15-20 mins late and they had no issue, meanwhile I was charged for being 15 mins late at another rental office before.

Made an on line reservation on May 22nd for a pick up truck for June 17. Received a confirmation on the same day. On June 15 called to reconfirm my booking and was told there is a problem getting a pick up truck but they are working on it and will call me back. No call back received! Called next day and was told they were busy and I would be called back in 15 - 20 minutes. Again, no call back?! On the same day of my reservation someone left me a voicemail saying, hummm ...are you the guy that booked the pick up truck? Give us a call back? By then I had already booked a pick up truck with Enterprise. Very disappointed and won't book or recommend them. Just plain terrible way to conduct a business.

My reason for bad review is because i booked a car from advantage the night before I had a big meeting and had no car of my own. The online booking system let me book a car for the next morning and sent me a confirmation text. The next morning I ordered an uber to get me to the car rental location and by chance I called advantage location. The guy told me he had no cars available!!! none!! I cant imagine how a car rental company runs out of cars to rent when someone has one booked.

Scammers, my dealer rented a car for me, at their expense, while mine was in the shop. For a deposit they charged my card! I was ok with that, ill get it back right? No. They then tried to charge me for the rest and when they count because of lack of funds they called me and said I need to put money into my visa so they can give back the deposit!!! Then charged it for the rest. I never thought they'd have the audacity to lie and to scam people like it was nothing.

I have rented a Honda civic for my 2 weeks visit to Toronto in August 2016 and it was the perfect car for my purpose, your pick up and drop off drivers were cooperative and nice and I could reach . However, I have had a 3 problems that I would very much want to point out so that you can take care of them because I do care and I do run my own business where I care so much about customer feedback. First of all, upon arrival to receive the car and departure to return the car back there was no one at your 1270 Matheson Blvd. East Branch of Missisauga. Upon arrival I reached this branch around 12 midday and the office was locked, then the pick from airport guy had to open the branch and handle another customer who came with me from the airport and I waited till the branch manager showed up. Upon returning my car I had to call by 8 am to confirm there will be someone to handle my car return procedure so that I am not late for my flight and when I reached by 9 am the branch was still locked and I had to call for the branch manager to show up! Second, I was sent a quotation total price for CAD934.63 and I was charged CAD1,027 without knowing the reason why! Third, I was not informed that I had to return the car on full tank, nor was this written on your agreement that I signed upon receiving the car, yet your branch manager said that I had to return the car on full tank and charged my credit card for CAD22.60 which I did not approve of for gas, he even asked me to take the car and fill it in a gas station close-by! He also spoke to me rudely and cynically saying " you have never rented a car, so you do not know anything!". I do not know who taught him professional dealings but it felt like he was bullying me, he even knew I did not have much time to catch my flight so he was like "You said you needed a lift to the airport?!" as if he is doing me a favor!!! I am quite upset with the way this person dealt with me and I am sure no customer would ever accept his rudeness and cynical and carelessly aggressive attitude. I asked the guy who took me to the airport and he said this person was the branch manager, So please make sure he is monitored. He is a white average weight and height guy with not full head of brown hair.

I rented for 4 weeks and they were so rude to me, I was unable to make arrangements to drop off the car, they wanted me to keep the car as long as possible so they can charge my insurance longer. They never made arrangements with me to drop off the car... The car was dirty and disgusting, they wanted me to drop off the car during business hours and they know people are working during those hours.. That way you have to keep the car longer and they can keep billing.. DONT RENT WITH THEM!!!!!! I went with ZIPCAR INSTEAD IT WAS AMAZING!!!

Do not give your credit card to these people. A tow truck company called them for me (bad idea) They charged my credit card for a huge deposit, randomly after two weeks of renting, not when I signed the agreement. ... even though the rental was paid for by my insurance company. Initially I was told the credit card was just for incidentals and would not be charged. When I asked about the surprise charge, I was told that they charged my credit card "just in case" my insurance company wouldn't cover the full rental? Then they decided to randomly keep the deposit, again with zero notice, for supposed damage to the car, that had been there prior. Even if I did cause the damage, which I did not... I had great rental collision coverage, but clearly someone there needed cash in their pocket mid month, and needed to find a way not to give it back. Best part? My insurance company did pay for the entire rental... But good old Luke charged me for the final two days, saying that my rental company had declined to pay those two days. More quick cash in the pocket. Be very careful... This may have been a good company... But it just takes one desperate and dishonest person... and you may pay for that. And although I've been reimbursed by my cc company as well as my insurance... Its been a pain in the ass to deal with, and many other people might not have known any better. Because of that, I feel obliged to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone again. I had just been in a bad accident, I guess I looked like an easy victim. I can't abide anyone looking to take advantage of another's misfortune. If you do have any disputes with any service for which you use a credit card, remember zero customer liability. If your card is charged when it shouldn't be (and there ARE rules.... The credit card company will reimburse and deal with it themselves.

Customer service my ***. Rude bs service. Tow truck called these guys. Mistake. They try to take what they can. $200 service charge because im returning the truck in two days?! No one mentioned it. No where signed it. Doesnt have a a number on the rental agreement for daily charge. When asked they are saying we will talk to your adjuster. Stay away. Rude dige disnt even let you speak. Charged my card saying you go deal with your insurance!! Jokes.

SHITTIEST service ever. I was involved in a rear ending accident where the rental car was hit at back. It was clearly a not at fault case. They took off $1000 off my credit card without my permission or without even asking me. Its been almost 2 months and they are giving me such a run around for refund. It is impossible to get hold of them over the phone. They just keep passing responsibility around. Avoid at all cost! Try budget or enterprise.

They sit on the highway waiting for accidents and they are so nice to you until you sign the papers and they get rude immediately.. i would never do business with them, you are better waiting for insurance company or go to a real business like enterprise.. The worst rental companies possibly up there. For 5h car rental I agree to pay $45, but instead I was charged almost 460$. Contract day Oct 31. I notice overcharging on Sep 08. I call them right away. The Company explanation was new worker make a mistake. My question is how someone can make mistake from 45$ to almost $460 and not see a problem and where was supervisor to check? They called that mistake, error, but they took sweet time to refunded my money. On September 8th when they admit they make a mistake they send me copy of receipt with the refund, but refund never happen, either they cancel it right away or was fake. After 15 days when I still didn't get my money back. I force to do legal actions with my Visa. $394.36 I was waiting over a month and half. I don't believe that was a mistake they simply get caught on it! If that be respectful company they try to resolve that as soon as possible. Strongly Not recommending that Company! Dishonest and disrespectful!!! Fake positive input!

First of all, I don't know why my name is 'Angry Customer' on here. Anyways. I called on the morning of the 11th of April to rent the Ford Fusion on that same day and was told it is available, over the phone. I went within the hour to pick it up and arrived to sign all the paperwork and inquire about the prices. The same person you speak to over the phone is the same person who greets you at the office, which is great because he is aware of the car you want and it avoids confusion. I was told the prices and went for the car inspection with his colleague. Everything is straight forward. You call and inquire about the vehicle you want and the rates and you get what you ask for. I drove the car all over the GTA and I returned the car with a full tank and got a complimentary ride back home, for free. There are no hidden fees. Kept the car for 3 extra days and I got charged the regular rate foe the 3 extra days. I got charged the car rental fee ($39.99/day), basic insurance because I don't have insurance ($19.99) and under age fee because I am 24 ($12.99). I was also charged a $350 deposit, which ended up being used to pay my total bill. I returned the car at 1 pm and was not charged for the day. Know which car you want, ask the rate for it, ask about insurance and underage fee if it applies to you and drive the car without hitting anything or anyone and you will be fine. No hidden fees, 2 employess, very straight forward service.

I rent minivans on regular basis from Luca at Advantage Dixie/401. It is always a pleasure, a good experience and the quality of service is second to none. A very professional team to work with. They are prompt, accommodating to my changing requirements and very competitive when it comes to pricing. The cars/vans are always clean and in very good shape. I would highly recommend using Advantage and would not attempt to go elsewhere for any car/van rentals!

I booked a car from here, they over charged me $60 “accidentally” and took over a month and a half to get my refund. I had called multiple times, they said I would receive a call back but never did and had to call myself every time. I didn’t get a single apology, I don’t know how you can “accidentally” over charge someone, and even if you do, a refund takes a minute or so, not over a month. Never going back here and not recommending anyone else to either.

Reserved a minivan. Attendant said that they didn't have anymore minivans but would give me a Hyundai Sante Fe which also had 7 seats. By the time the car came (almost one hour) we just wanted to get going so the 5 of us got in the car and drove to my cousin's house. The next day my cousin wanted to ride with us but couldn't because we discovered the car was a sports model and did not have 7 seats. I complained to the company and they gave me a measly $30 back. I did not get what I paid for and am very disappointed - especially about being lied to.

I have had the (dis)pleasure of renting cars across North America, and have had my fair share of poor experiences, including being charged for damage on a vehicle I did not rent, or the common "you didn't fill the tank to full". My most recent experience at Advantage was a result of a car accident (my kid's fault, I promise) that saw me needing a rental on short notice. Fortunately, Luca answered the call and was able to get me a car within two hours. While his location was sold out, he was able to get a car from a sister location delivered to him. I am extremely grateful for his service and will continue to use and recommend this location.

So I woke up one morning to find out my dad needed repairs on his vehicle. It was bad, car needed an overnight at the mechanics. They suggested Advantage for a car rental and we were glad we listened. They picked us up, dropped us off and had us in our rental in under 20 minutes. The rental cost was easily cheaper then the 2 can rides we would have needed to take otherwise. Customer service was excellent, Luca runs a tight ship.

Very easy processor was very impressed with the friendly, professional, and accurate service of the staff and especially with Waleed who helped me throughout the entire process. One of the best car rental companies I have dealt with they gave me a very good deal. We were given a brand new car that was adequate for our needs. Excellent service overall and I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

wow, best people to deal with, put me in a brand new civic, price was competitive. The staff was very friendly and easy going, answered all my questions and did not rush me. I was very surprised to see that good customer service still exists after going to the Enterprise just around the corner from them and was so disgusted by the lack of humanity those cooperate shmucks carry. Shout out to both Ali and Luke for there service.
