The engine in my 2017 Tucson blew. Not very pleased with the level of service I received form the new service manager. I live close to Saskatoon but always took time off to have Lakeland service my car as I bought it brand new from them. It is a long drawn out story but apparently burning 5 liters of oil between changes is acceptable...until your engine blows. Thankfully I had an extended warranty but it was a frustrating process where everytime I spoke with the new service manager it was a different story or different plan of attack...or no plan at all. He spoke poorly of the old service manager, as well as the Saskatoon Hyundai service departments. He chastised the former service manager for not getting to the bottom of things, then when push came to shove (before they found the engine was pooched) he refused to do the thing he said the previous service manager "should" have done. The one thing that sticks with me is they had the car in for diagnosis...decided that it was a sensor harness that was giving issues. They ordered the part in, when they got the part they then they pulled the car back in to the shop and I was told by a service writer that the engine was knocking badly and the engine was blown. Next time I spoke with Dwight (new service manager) he was telling me that I should have heard the knocking when I dropped it off....If that is the case surely a tech would have heard the knocking when it was in getting diagnosed the first time. ????♂️ My car has been returned after 2+ months of waiting. The only person I dealt with throughout this issue that I can say anything positive about is Geraldine. I will never darken Lakeland Hyundai's doorway again. Pretty disappointed in the management of this issue.
It was my first time at Lakeland Hyundai and they were the best so far as they did everything possible to stand on the point that customer satisfaction comes first. Not gonna go somewhere else after this kind of experience.????????????????????

I just moved to PA from Moose jaw then I went to Lakeland Hyundai for an oil change and a recall on my Santafe Sport. Actually a friend told me that Lakeland is the best in PA so I went there. I went with the expectation of what I heard about them. Guess what??? I was wowed! The front staff were so amazing and helpful, they made me feel like the Queen I am. This is definitely the only place I will be taking my car too for all works. My car was washed and I left there in a brand new car☺. Many thanks Lakeland Hyundai, you guys are the best in PA.

You are absolutely going to be treated as king/queen at most dealerships when it comes to purchasing a vehicle. Problem comes in when you need service with your vehicle's warranty issue. My 2014 elantra is still under warranty, engine started knocking and eventually gave up on us.I was clearly told by service department that it's not a negligence from my end, even though it's been over a month, vehicle is parked at the dealership and I am still not given a proper answer whether or not company is gonna cover my engine warranty issue. I was told I might have to pay for the labour to fix the engine issue under warranty which seems totally unfair. I am still paying monthly for my car payment and guess what I don't have a vehicle to drive to work. Seems like it will take few more weeks if not months, before I even know if Hyundai will cover the warranty issue. I can't totally blame dealership but absolutely an irresponsible act by Hyundai.

Initial appointment was booked and upon arrival was told that there was no such appointment but they squeezed me in the following day for an oil change and check of filters. During the service I was notified that there was other issues that needed to be fixed( ball joint & sway arm) of course warranty was expired 5mths prior. Overall impressed with quality of service.

I'm sorry to say after dealing with this dealership for 7 years, I feel the service is going downhill. I brought in my car for repair with CAA package policy on it and this dealership does not accept this insurance. So I had to pay the 700. Deductable even though I have insurance with a 100. deductible. I was told each dealership gets to choose if they want to accept or honor CAA. So if you need a vehicle repaired through insurance you may want to check before having it done here. This is only one of the issues I've found when we were dealing with this company. There has been others.
I live in The Pas where there is no Hyundai dealership, so when my engine seized I had to get my Tucson towed to Prince Albert, 4 hours away. My Tucson is a 2017 and I take it for regular oil changes so having my breakdown was very upsetting especially in -40 weather. At first I was freaking out because I thought I would have a huge bill to pay but after talking to Jackie and Dwayne they ensured me that everything was going to be alright, and it was. Jackie and Dwayne were calling me to update me weekly on the statues of my car and once I got my car back, mostly everything was covered under warranty expect spark plugs and few other items which Lakeland paid for so I had no bill, AMAZING. Plus Dwayne another gentlemen even drove 4 hours to The Pas on a Saturday to deliver my Tucson to me so I could attend my ladies league bonspiel !!!!!!!! I bought my Tucson in Winnipeg and I am just in awe with how great Lakeland treated me since, I didn’t even buy my Tuscon from them! I highly recommend Lakeland, easy to deal with outstanding customer service. Thank you Dwayne and Jackie!

GO SEE THEM! I approached Riverside Hyundai with a very unique set of requests and needs for the purchase of my next vehicle; to be honest, I was a royal pain in the neck. Carlo Maione and Adam Shtay worked incredibly hard and tirelessly to find a unit that fit the parameters of my request and even went so far as to requisition units from sister dealerships around the Greater Edmonton Metro area. I must have test drove 5 or 6 vehicles before finding the right one and denied just as many. They did not attempt to push me into a vehicle I did not want nor did they attempt to sell me something I did not need. Once we settled on a 2015 Durango, Brandon Smyth in finance put in hours- even when he was supposed to go home- to ensure that the loan I went into made sense and was beneficial to me now and in the future. Brandon explained everything to me and showed me, in black and white, where I stood and where I would stand in a few years when I know I will be looking to buy another unit. An added bonus... the dealership itself is beautiful, welcoming and is set up in a way that lets you go thoroughly enjoy the experience of buying a car on you own terms. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the lounge area and having a coffee while reading the paper. I have never said this about a car dealership before... but the facility has admirable architecture- just go see it. I went in with a clear budget, and an intention to buy a used car. They asked me for details and they WROTE it down. Immediately after that they told me they'll pull up a car for me to. Surprise!!! It's a brand new car. It didn't seem like they gave a shot about what customer has to say or what they want. They just want to meet their sales goals. I was very surprised. Also, they add these crazy admin fees and other unnecessary fees in top of the price of the car and taxes. Such rubbish customer service. Will never visit again.

We made an appointment to have the sensor in the windshield calibrated after the windshield was replaced and that was completed satisfactorily. We asked about the idle assist as it doesn't appear to be working properly, they said they checked it and it is working properly but it still doesn't work. We are frustrated because nobody took it for a test drive which then they would have seen first hand that it wasn't working, they just checked it with their computer. The windshield washer doesn't get the whole windshield and they said that's just the way they work. The attitude at the dealership is not as warm and welcoming as it was in the past it seems they are too relaxed and chalk things up to oh well that's just the way it is.

I made a deal on a car a 2022 Elantra with biweekly payments of 212 for 60 months the deal was made I go to the dealership all of a sudden the deal changes from 212 to 217, due to financing I says no sharpen your pencils go back and make the deal 212 like agreed upon. To make a long story short I walked out, what annoyed me was they could have told me this over the phone before I drove there from Saskatoon, it was a sneaky move and I will not deal with them again.
Terrible! We’ve had our car for 5 days and absolutely hate it and they won’t let us do anything with it. They won’t give us the car back that we traded unless we pay more for it. The car is loud, the hatch rattles and sometimes doesn’t open. I get 271 km on a tank of fuel. The windows are constantly frozen and don’t clear up, there is a breeze coming thru the car and when we asked about a winter front, they told us to get one specially made. I would never ever recommend Hyundai to anyone.

Sales person Admish Sanhotra and sales manager Mitch Kowalski straight up lied to my face when I asked if they were gonna do a hard inquiry on my credit. I asked 4 times before I told them my SIN number and each time they said no, they told me they were only gonna do a soft inquiry. 4 times I asked! And each time they said it’s only gonna be soft. Horrible Business practice. When I asked what they could do to rectify the situation basically said I’m _____ out of luck.

I would like to rate them with negative stars if possible, because of their general sales manager Mitch Kowalski. Person that knows no sales ethics, no respect and very unprofessional. Manipulated the price by removing the accessories of the vehicles without informing me ( I travelled 3.5 hours twice to go there) and failed to honour the agreed price with agreed accessories when i reached there. At dealership he accused me of changing tires on the vehicle that i was trading in when i dont even know how to change a spare tire. On top, took deposit from me by saying its refundable, when i decided not to buy the vehicle because of his shady pricing and disrespectful behaviour i got three different answers from him and his sales person about my refund. I still havn't got my deposit back. An advise to anyone going to this dealership DONT PAY A DEPOSIT that they tell us is refundable but its not.

Took my Hyundai Santa Fe in for the ABS recall. They checked over my vehicle and all was good. They were kind enough to change the battery in my fob, so now my car recognizes the key. They also washed my very salted car. Great service and very quick too!!

Frankly , I was disappointed, my car was supposed to be under warranty, the only thing my warranty covered was the attempted boost, and the tow truck when it couldn't be boosted, then I was pretty much left to my own devices, $515 and a new battery later. Then a week and a half later I was stranded again, same thing, so I question, was it the battery? This time they sent someone to boost, still unsuccessful , and then they said because it was Saturday, nothing could be done until monday, so I was going to rent a car, but then I called the other dealership , where I bought the car, and they provided me with a loaner car and towed my car to the shop, now they are looking at the car to see what the problem was.

When I went to Lakeland there were two things I wanted one to check my windshield wipers as they were not working and 2 for an oil change. I had to pick up my vehicle after hours and trying to drive on the highway was impossible because when they took it into service it some of the snow had melted out of the wheels but not all of it so the car was so imbalanced I couldn't go more than 65 on the highway. When I called the service manager to discuss this he basically said there was nothing he could do unless I was prepared to pay him to clean out those Wheels because his wash bay wasn't built yet. I stated to him then he should have let me know that he could not service my car properly and that if I drove home I would be driving home in a vehicle that was potentially imbalance. I say that because it was obvious that the car would have some snow build up. When my husband took the vehicle in to wash it so that we could get it working he discovered that he had to add windshield washer fluid because they had not done that and when he went to use the windshield wiper on the passenger side it wasn't even touching the windshield. After my first discussion with the service manager I certainly wasn't going to call back for a second. That is why I give service one star

I had my '06 Sonata towed into Lakeland Hyundai after smashing my undercarriage on a chunk of cement -- 400 km from home, and 75 km from where I was vacationing. No way to get home, no chance of getting a vehicle rental (thanks COVID!) and we were due to be home and at work in 4 days! Despite a bit of confusion with my work order (to be fair, the whole dealership was under construction, and the service group were working out of a trailer!) the service manager went out of his way to push my vehicle to the front of the queue and have someone test drive and inspect it in a day. To my great relief, the only damage was to the engine base plate, and they certified the vehicle safe to drive. I'd been expecting a bill for massive repairs -- I was billed for one hour for the inspection. Did I mention they identified one seeping hose that should be repaired in the near future? MASIVE kudos to Dwight and his staff for going out of their way to taking the stress out of the end of our holiday, and making sure we could get home safely. Highly recommended for professionalism and courtesy.
Upon buying a new luxury kona we had brokered a deal for a 699.00 remote car starter along with 3 oil changes but once papers were signed the remote was no longer the 699.00 when we questioned this they said we could get the better remote but that one would void the Hyundai warranty... well nothing should go wrong but one couldn’t chance voiding the warranty. The service manager gave us 1 more oil change truly not comparable. So this leaves me feeling that I was deceived and that I let myself be taken advantage of . The Kona also came from another dealership which was in Winnipeg then driven to PA this should of been mentioned. The vehicle couldn’t of been pre-inspected as the back seat belts were still taped and it didn’t have a working horn. Todd had gone through 98% of the features (but he was very distracted as my husband had a few issues once the car had been washed and was discussing them with Mitch sales manager) I made an appointment for the horn, I had heard wonderful things about service dept but shouldn’t be returning in less than a week. Yup they confirmed no horn and one is on order this should of been caught prior to me picking up the car but when I picked the car up there’s a huge scratch along my door of my bright tangerine vehicle which isn’t a week old!!! Service manager takes responsibility for his team and is extremely apologetic but within less than a week ..before a payment is even made . This is the nightmare I’ve experienced. Not such a great start to an “84” month relationship
