We recently traded in and got a brand new 2021 Explorer and we throughly enjoy it. Our salesman Al was friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help us get what we wanted. Even after a slight issue we were able to resolve it and my family couldn’t be happier with the choice. The service staff is polite and quick to help. My wife wasn't please with the service due to the fact that she had to walk from Lakeland ford to work = 4.5 km; when the truck was completed she had to again walk the 4.5 km from work to Lakeland ford ... I'd say this is very poor service. She said that when she pulled up to a bay that wouldn't open the service attendant who wasn't the most cheerful when letting her know that only certain bays are open on weekend - maybe there should be better direction to customers that don't visit very often. This didn't sit well for my wife who usually is very easy going. Why isn't there shuttle service on Saturdays? They actually got the proper oil added this time, so I guess that was one good thing.

I went into Lakeland Ford in Nov 2018 "just to see" what was new, because I was considering upgrading my vehicle. I had some time to burn that day, so why not. I was helped on the floor by Tyler, who was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to quickly answer all of my questions, and address my feature requests. I never once felt like I was being "sold to", which I really appreciated. Long story short, I "felt right" about my options and about my sales associate, and I left the building 2 hours later with a brand new vehicle that was everything I wanted and needed it to be. I can't even tell you how exciting that was for me! The finance team was quick and efficient. I was quickly approved for financing, and was able to trade in my truck on the spot (dirty... because I didn't plan on actually buying that day... sorry about that). Before my new vehicle, I had my older truck, and came in for service visits. The service team has consistently been helpful and efficient, which is great, because I don't live in Prince Albert and have to make a day trip in for service visits. It's super handy having the service shuttle available. When I come in from out of town, I can still get some shopping done while my vehicle is in the garage. I had an issue with service billing just one time, and Brad was great about levelling out the issue, and making sure I left happy. And I LOVE the seating area on the sales/service floor. Such a nice touch that they offer snacks and actually GOOD coffee! It's a long-winded review, I know, but just want to say thank you Lakeland Ford. You're my go-to.

No good service here. In fact, this place is clearly so bad at servicing vehicles and so desperate for money, I'd be careful that they don't try to charge you for the space you take up when you walk on their property. I'd watch out for your pocket getting picked too. I know I won't be back. My vehicle was in for recall work, but after I mentioned the check engine light was on, they went ahead and charged me the 1/2 hour shop time to also plug into the diagnostics (while it was already in a service bay) and look at a screen. Someone also took my truck for a drive without my permission. I was later told by a neighbor that my truck was seen speeding down a busy street, but I wasn't driving. At no time was there even a mention of the inconveniences of having to bring the truck in a second time for the second recall on the same part. This time in a pandemic. I couldn't put it off as it was a block heater cord and we live where we live. Then they gave me no idea how long I'd have to wait, but a "promised by" time mysteriously appeared on the bill when they were done. Then when I came to get the vehicle there was absolutely no one around. When someone finally did show up, it was some old guy without a clue and without a mask that made me just stand there as he tried to figure out the paperwork. Which he never did. As far as I could tell he thought I was trying to steal from them and sneak out on part of my bill. He wanted to charge me the quote total as well. In the end I went in for recall service and paying $100.00 for a quote to change spark plugs. Which I already knew had to be done, as anyone would know, given the kilometers on the vehicle. So glad some pretend mechanic got to play act that they knew something at my expense. Literally. I hope they had a good laugh about it though, and it was worth losing any future business from me. The answer from management when these complaints were brought to their attention? They just had to charge me. Too bad. I even have a screenshot of one of their people telling me I should be happy I wasn't charged for the recall work. I was then blocked on all their social media accounts. In my opinion it's most definitely the culture here thats causing the bad service, and from the top down is most likely, so this has to be a "definitely avoid".

I'm still not sure how I feel about the rest of the new vehicle purchase experience. High pressure. Annoying back and forth with the sales manager. Sales manager wasn't being transparent with all the numbers. Just showing me the biweekly payment number instead of a full price breakdown. She came back with numbers for a few hours trying to make it seem like they were giving me a deal but I ended up paying full sticker price at the end. They could have just told me that the sticker price is what I have to pay and there are no deals. I still would have bought it. I needed the truck so I didn't really have much choice. TLDR: Price was good, just check their work before you leave. Wasn't gonna put it here for everyone to see, but since Lakeland sent me a text asking to review them I guess I will. I bought four winter tires for my truck and had them installed October 14. I should have checked their work before I left PA, but I didn't since it was a simple tire install. The winter tires are directional and clearly marked as such, but they got the front tires backwards. Since I wasn't going back to PA during their work hours and I wasn't going to make a special trip in, I had to fix their mistake myself at home the next day. Like I told Brady the service advisor the next day on the phone it's not the worst, but a job isn't done til it's done right.

I was very disappointed that they no longer have shuttle service so that you can drop off your vehicle and get to and from work. Instead they gave me a cab voucher!! This was an absolutely horrible experience!! The cab was so dirty and it smelled like someone had threw up in it. I had to get the driver to open all the windows. I felt very uncomfortable and for Lakeland Ford to use such an unprofessional service makes me very disappointed!! I did not use their voucher to go and pick my vehicle up…….I found another way to get there. If this is how Lakeland Ford is going to continue I will not be going back to have any more service done there at all.

I've previously had great experiences at Ford Dealerships. However, this time was not very pleasant. I spent over a $1108.72 (parts and labor) to fix my car's broken muffler. I'm giving them the stars because they fixed the muffler (while charging me a huge markup as all dealerships do) and the lady and guy driving me to work after dropping off my car was very pleasant. However, after that was all said and done, they didn't bother to vacuum and clean up my car. I asked them to take pictures of wear and tear to my suspension because they recommended extra repairs. They could have even taken videos (everyone owns a smartphone right??!). However, they didn't bother and just said it was too difficult to do. I've been to Estevan Ford dealership and Saskatoon's Jubilee Ford and they were all very professional with making my car look presentable after oil changes or repairs. Some even threw in free repairs like changed a car light for me. I am not asking for free service. However, professionalism is very important. Even Kal Tire (low end chain) cleans up the car to look presentable. I am not going back there ever again. I'm going to ask my friends for recommendations in the future.

Took my new car 2019 Gt350 Cobra to Lake Land Ford for its first oil change after I got it back I took it home and parked in my garage. The next morning I left in the car and after backing out of the garage I noticed oil on the floor I checked the oil in the engine it was okay took the car back to dealership they did get it in right away. The mechanic came out after he looked at it and explained it was just oil from when he changed the filter that had got trapped in some pan that he had not taken off to change the filter trying to save time. When I pay 269.00 for an oil change I expect that things are done right. You pay hard earned money for a top end product but get half as service isn't really professional in my opinion.

All repairs were done with competence, although a exhaust sensor was bumped accidentally by the mechanic when fixing the leaking oil pan, which caused the 'check engine' light to come on. Lakeland Ford said it would take care of it since it wasn't my fault. The staff at Lakeland Ford have always treated all customers like myself with courtesy and respect which I greatly appreciate. Lakeland Ford staff in Prince Albert, Sask. has always worked hard to meet and exceed my expectations for vehicle maintenance and safety. It is because of the quality staff that I will always drive a 'Ford' vehicle. Today is July 18th, 2019 since my last paragraph (above) a few months ago. I had the vehicle repair done and also an oil change which went very smoothly. Thank you to "Kristen Bell" for arranging and taking care of my vehicle's needs. I was pleasantly surprised at the prompt service, and found myself heading home sooner than I expected.. Again, the courtesy and respect from all the staff at Lakeland Ford is second to none. The Lord Hipkiss was very welcoming and offered me a great deal on a vehicle, his whole sales was awesome, however, when it came to making the final sale, he would go to finance and come back with a higher payment plan which was kinda unfair but I needed a vehicle that was more reliable. Very overpriced told me my car was fine and didn’t need to replace the alternator but then my car kept repeating dying on me so called back and they told me that they did in fact recommend me to get a new alternator earlier so I brought in asked how much it would cost was told only about 700 but then was charged 900$ and they needed to keep my vechile for a week. My consultant was an idiot and treated me like I was an idiot because I’m a teenager and didn’t really seem to want anything to do with me. Highly not recommended

Hi....I am on my third new vehicle with Lakeland Ford. My "car" experience has been unique and very satisfying to say the least. This entails, travelling through the mountains in my Ford Fiesta in 10 inches of snow and lots of ice. The little car was a dream to drive, and the gas economy u couldn't compare with such an extensive trip, loved it!. My beautiful 2015 Ford Focus...this car never let me down. I loved driving it, sweet little stick shift truly beats an automatic! This little machine was a speed shifter. Yes I did a couple of times ????. I'm looking forward to my adventure with the 2020 Ford Ecosport, can hardly wait! Last but not least was the professionalism of the salesmen at Lakeland Ford along with the service department. Not impressed with the sales tactics. My wife had bought a car here. The intrest rate was absolutly outrageous, along with the monthly for a USED VEHICLE. They told her if she aas good on payments, they would lower the rates. Not 1 payment missed, a year later the dealership calls saying its time to fix the rate. Convinces her to start a fresh new term, with lower intrest and payments, to "pay out" the remaining term to start her on a fresh one. They gave her the same damn car with LEATHER seats, 2 percent less intrest, and 10 dollars off the monthly. Reset her term completly, get the vehicle back, and claim the year payments from the vehicle with polyester seats. If this is how you conduct buisness, i will make it my personal mission to let everybody know, because they deserve better buisness, from better dealers.

Purchase a brand new 2017 F150 with the special edition sport package 2 weeks ago. Was told by the salesman that it had what an fx4 had. I was adamant on getting a fx4 and reminded them several times. I found out yesterday that this truck is not equivalent to fx4. I went to the dealer only to be told we can't do anything. Called Ford Canada as put in a complaint. I will never purchase anything from this dealer ever again. So much for customer satisfaction.

Very friendly staff and a great facility but I looked at a truck last week base model f150 no frills v6/na 4x4 and the price they came back with was completely out of this world I was being told there were factory rebates employee pricing so i was expecting them to come in under 40 thousand as this was a very very basic truck and I was prepared to pay cash money, I got the impression it was some kind of screwy sales tactic or they want you to finance but almost $53,000 for this truck was absolutely crazy I spent about 10 minutes asking the salesman if he was for real and if there was a mistake on the price then I told him if that was the starting point I was going to walk, I drove over to nissan and bought a loaded frontier pro 4x for 13k less later that afternoon

They said 30 to 45 minutes as im sitting in the waiting room i can see my vehicle from where i was sitting 1 hour passed by and its still sitting there,so i go and ask again he said it should be coming out any minute now, i looked at him and said but it didn't even move yet,he looks over and said aww they took the wrong vehicle...i told there was a reason why i came in early because i have to get bk to work at 1 pm which i had to drive 3 hours to get home....so i stood there thinking should i even trust you guys to do an oil change and the guy that was standing there said im sorry but its my first day but hes not the one that served me....so yah it was Not GOOD service at all. The experience is still on going. I have a another appointment on Thursday to fix a long term power steering pump leek from previous work. I am going to get a transmission leek and filter service. We'll got the service done. I had some work done in February were I had to get a jobber power steering pump do to time restaurant witch they Jerry rigged to work and has but leaked till now. I got another jobber it was put in and had to come out for a Ford one.$3000.00 later. I learned the 5 day wait is cheaper. The pumps didn't fit the up grades of the reservoir and lines.

Truck taken to Lakeland for service engine light and to correct recall for block heater connector last week. The work was completed on time and appears to be satisfactory. It is strange that the service engine light was on as there was less than 4,000 kms on the vehicle and the work done was an update to the computer. I hope there are not any more updates needed.

Brought in vehicle for my mother for oil change and to check tire for intermittent slow leak( new tires installed few months ago at this same dealership) Told could be probably 1.5 hr for oil change and up to two hours. Questioned why so long just for oil change and said will take longer due to having to check the tire) . Well get vehicle back at the 2 hour mark and they say could not find problem with tire. Turns out they checked the wrong tire. As it was 12 noon said need come back in an hour as all mechanic off for lunch!!!!! Brought back at 1pm and now still waiting 45minutes later!!!!!!! Can not understand why a dealership takes 1.5 hrs for an oil change! (Sure they do few other things as far as checks but would not think it takes this long. Anyway it is what it is for that and the extra checks, just don’t see why extra time for them to do the tire. Why not have tire person take it off and check it while the oil change is being done to help save time and costs! Also cannot a shop this size not stagger lunch breaks so as not to have to shut down the whole shop for an hour in the day. Family been buying all their vehicles from this dealer as well as having all the maintenance done on them for over 40 years and this is the kind of service you get. Travelled for an hour from out of town for this and will end up being in town for almost 4 hrs just for oil change and tire check Not very impressive and tired of waiting round

1)Bought my vehicle 2nd hand in 2013 and was told to go to FORD in Prince Albert to get the keyless entry code. I called them to make an appt and they said they couldn't help me so I drove a 1/2 hour to Shellbrook and they helped me NO CHARGE............ 2) Had to replace my FOB keys back in early October, Ford in PA re-synced them to the vehicle I was fine, but the OLD stolen key would still open the doors and there was nothing they could do about it. paid over $200 for that service. Good thing I park in a garage at home. 3)LAKELAND FORD came through with flying colors for me this morning.....instructions via phone and my car starter works perfect....THANKS so much to Jordan at Lakeland Ford. I had posted a review because I was lacking in confidence for this dealership..... Renewed confidence with them now.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Customer service is an absolute joke. When they say they will call you back, you will be waiting days. Our vehicle has been in and out of there since November with nothing but issues that they couldn’t figure out. And if they did “fix it” something else would pop up. They tried the whole bribing situation so they wouldn’t receive a bad review but this is getting out of hand. This is our one vehicle that we NEED. I have cancer and appointments in PA and Saskatoon every week which cost money and stress to begin with. We don’t need issues with a new vehicle as well, waiting for rental vehicles and hoping our suv doesn’t break down on the road to where we have to go. My husband has been dealing with the sales people, parts people and management and it just seems to go no where and I’m fed up, we don’t need this. Would absolutely not recommend Lakeland Ford or dealing with them. Go somewhere else and save yourselves the headache.
