We were getting a car rental for the weekend and got a quote over the phone. We got a confirmation of a rate with an email and everything, all we had to do is go into the store and pick up the vehicle. The process took 2 hours, the rate went up by doubled what was originally given to us. The staff wouldn't even look at our reservation code or anything, they even couldn't take our credit cards saying that their system is limited to how they accept credit cards. Even after waiting two hours, the rate increased to double originally quoted, we got the vehicle under the impression the management would review our case. Upon returning our vehicle, we called to ensure the case would be reviewed there was no response, we called another time and they said sorry we can't do anything the charges already got charged. This was by far the worst experience renting from a company in my life, I travel alot for work and I can guarantee I will not recommend Hertz for any future rentals.

I rented from this company and was so happy until I got into an accident. The lady working here was amazing and trying her best to help but her boss in Regina obviously didn’t know what he was doing because she was told not to close my account, that meant they could charge me for an extra 2 weeks, they charged me $1,568 for a $230 rental and full insurance that was meant to cover the accident. They also sent me threatening texts as well as mail telling me they were going to prosecute me even though the vehicle was back at some point it was already rented out but they were still charging me. Thanks to the wonderful lady for doing her best to fix everything thanks Boni!!

they drove out my car almost completely totaled and it was missing 2 wheels but still made it through town. It did leave large scratches and breaks through the roads due to excess metal though but that is not my fault. took a picture of the car i liked my ride. would rent again

Never gonna rent a car from Hertz car rental agin in my life. I don’t recommend them to anyone. They triple the price that they told me.

There was no way left to reach out this guys so now I have to submit this review. I rented a Hertz Car on Priceline.ca website. 1) My pick up location was in the city and without any notification on the pick up day, I was told to pick up a Car from the Airport Location. It was raining and costed me extra $50 to reach from one end of the city to the other end of the city for the pick up on the very first day of my vacation which delayed my entire trip. I complained for this but no response from Hertz. 2) During my trip, a windshield got damaged. I informed the Hertz at the Airport while I was on Vacation so that they can complete all the proceedings for the damage before I return car or soon after. I returned my car on 30th June 2019 and today is 13th August 2019 and I am yet to receive couple of documents that I have to submit to my insurance company to get the damage claim approved. Hertz don't care because they got their rental charges and damage charges both. Interestingly, nobody is replying. Neither "Mr. Nayere" (Manager at Hertz Airport Location) nor Hertz Customer Support Team. I sent many emails to Mr. Nayere but no reply. Here are the case numbers filed with Hertz Customer Support Team and no response for any of them. There is no other option of not giving any stars..worst customer service especially their night crew... had a hidden cost.. charged citing lot of complicated rules and regulations in agreement s we sign..not fit for a rental company..it is a daylight robbery..won won't recommend any one to use as their cost looks budget friendly But they are not...it's better to go with other rental agencies which have a very customer service and explain things properly when a person rents a vehicle...

I have been renting from hertz for a years . But this time in Regina airport it is my worst branch I ever rented from them . They charged me 33$ for a gas fuel which I already returned it whatever I received it . The customer service told me we don’t care . And she mentioned it is 8 L less than usual . I told her it too much for 8L. Told me “this gas is from Jesus “. I don’t really recommend them for any future renting

Very rude customer service. I was given the car with the fuel tank not full. I made sure when I return the vehicle to the airport, I would refill it with gas that I have used. Now they are charging me $33 because it was missing 8 Litres. How does 8 litres of gas = $33. When i tried calling to inquire about this I got nothing from the lady on the phone but rudeness, and unprofessional service. Why am I being charged extra money. They didn’t even give me the car with a full tank. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND RENTING WITH THEM.

My husband and I rented a Nissan Sentra for 4 days. We travelled approx 700km... good, clean car and great fuel economy. The customer service person, Simran, was very helpful. When we returned the car we were running a bit late for our flight so she told us to go ahead and get our tickets organized while she finished up the paperwork. She found us, handed over the paperwork and wished us safe travels. Very nice lady. Thanks Simran!

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!! They may be the cheapest at the time, but pay the extra $10 to rent elsewhere. Take your business elsewhere. They do not tell you everything up front, until after you sign. There is a lot of hidden fees. I rented a car for 1 day and it was 2 hours late and they charged me $169 for one freaking day and I was quoted the cheapest car. Then you get deal with their "manager", Nair and he is as useless as you can imagine. He doesn't care what the customer has to say. Worst customer service.

I was getting in late to get to Hertz. Called a couple of weeks before and spoke to a staff named Javier Z. He assured me I would get my car even if I was coming in close to their closing hour. True enough, my flight was delayed and past their closing hour. Called and got Javier again. He reassured me and reminded me he promised that I would get my car that night (but I was coming in more like morning 1:00 am). Got to the counter 30 minutes past their closing hour, Javier was there to give me the keys. He had spoken to his manager to make sure he could stay so I could get my car. It was cold and snowy. Javier mentioned he even went out to warm the car up for me. This is one truly amazing young man. He went above and beyond to make sure I got the car. Hertz is so lucky to have such a great team member. I am so thankful to have Javier there to give me my car. The car suited my needs. It was dark. There was a lot of ice and snow on the car but it started and got me to my hotel. Thank you Javier for going above and beyond to help out!!!!!!!

Had a reservation for 11AM, didn't get into a vehicle until 130-145PM. Unorganized as they did not have a vehicle for me, they 1st offered me a Durango which was fine but later said it was not available. A Hertz driver dropped one off but it had minor damage so I requested another vehicle. It was a one way rental. The agent and training agent were very polite and nice and tried accommodating me to make some changes to my rental. Poor rating due to not having a vehicle ready and no one @ the counter until after approximately 45 mins after my arrival. I did arrive at around 1140. I would not rent from Hertz Regina Airport again. They also preauthorized my cc twice for 1 rental, had to call credit card company to resolve the 2nd cc hold. The 1st hold came off but not the second. 1k total hold for 1 day car rental of $146/one way rental.

They charged me $81 AN HOUR for a rental that was returned 2 hours late. They also billed me for an upgrade into a car that had winter tires, except it didn't have winter tires, and they charged me for the upgrade anyways. We usually always rent with Avis, never again will I rent with Hertz.

Great experience with Hertz. Just read the contract and rates before you book, this location had great prices for unlimited KMs. Rented a caravan and it was in great shape, also has Sirius xm which made the trip more enjoyable. Would return!
