I got a rental here booked on my behalf by HRG. Susan was very helpful and had the car ready for me. The car had a scratch from before but was noted down before I drove it away. On return, the manager AJAY claimed that he could see on the company copy of the receipt that the car was scratched. I renewed the rental until i could get a hold of another employee to verify. Fortunately, Cindy was able to verify that a scratch was in deed marked down from before. I have no idea why a manager would be unable to see a scratch that one of his employees had already marked down.

What a mistake I made renting from these guy's instead of Enterprise!! I would have given them 0 stars if I could. We travel a lot and I use Expedia quite often and have never had terrible service like we received from this lot. I booked a full size car for $305.96 which we were happy with. After a brutal flight with the worst turbulence I have ever experienced, I was stressed out and the gentleman at the counter said he had a premium car that had winter tires on it for us at a small upgrade fee for $42.00 as it recently snowed. I agreed to pay the fee as it sounded like a good deal. I just received my CC statement and Hertz charged me an extra $400.93 on top of my original bill of $305.96!!!! Why would I pay $400.00 more than my original bill for a different car that had "snow tires" on it?? I called the manger Ajay to fix the situation and he said I had to pay the upgrade charge since I didn't dispute it when I dropped the car off. How could I dispute it if I never knew about it and they never gave me a receipt when I dropped it off? They just took the keys, smiled and and sent me on my way. Stay away from these guys as they rip you off. Best to deal with a professional company like Enterprise where they actually care about their customers.

Hertz did not provide us with the vehicle we asked for, policies are very restrictive. There are fees added on for everything. If they require the vehicle back at 4:20pm and we bring it back at 4:22pm, we were told we would be charged another full hour. They did not provide very good customer service. The person at the counter said "these are our policies, theres nothing i can do about it" we are not impressed that we asked for an suv in order to fit all of our luggage aswell as 4 people, and were given a car instead. If you choose to rent a vehicle, i highly reccomend national car rentals next door. They were amazing with all of our visits before. Hertz is terrible, i will never use them again. Im glad i have this information now, i rent vehicles daily for my fleet at work and will use national or budget instead.

Had an extremely awesome experience with Hertz, we booked a Mazda SUV for a road trip and the one we had lined up had the check engine light come on just before we showed up so they gave us the only SUV they had left which was a fully loaded Dodge Durango with a V8 Hemi and AWD! It was the most amazing vehicle I have ever driven and they honored the price we booked at for the Mazda! We will only use this car rental place from now on!

Avoid and dont ever do business with this company! Lots of extra fees and false promises. Poor customer service, if i could give 0 stars i would. The guy on the counter saying he is the manager was so unprofessional, all he can say was "that is our company policy". that guy shouldn't be working there. Worst rental company ever!!!!!!

We expected to rent a Toyota Corolla but we were given a Hyundai Elantra. The staff said we would have to wait for one to be cleaned but they didn't know when one would be available. When we went into the full parking lot we didn't see one Toyota. We could have gone with other companies that we cheaper but went to Hertz because it had the car we wanted. They get away with this false advertising because of 'or similar '.

I've never been cheated out of money by a company like Hertz did me. I've rented A LOT from Budget, Enterprise, Thrifty and Alamo and have always had good/decent experiences. The one time I try Hertz and I get gouged. How is this company still in operation?

Hertz fleeced me on another full day rental rate for being over the 24 hr period... which they didn’t tell me at the beginning of my rental agreement. Then when I explained the situation the employee became aggressive, and gave me some heavy attitude, a know it all and you know how much everyone likes a know it all. Also did not have the vehicle I booked and paid for (Premium). I will never use them again for my buisness needs.

Standing in line for half of an hour now and will have to wait at least held an hour more Very inefficient and slow service. Only 2 representatives though there is place for 5 , one is busy with some problem This shouldn't take so long

They came through with the type of vehicle I needed. Some times have to be firm and make sure they understand your needs. Usual modern world stuff of rushed and inexperienced staff.

Called on behalf of one of our customers with a question and was told to "just do the customer survey" and hung up on. Was later called back by the agent a couple hours later and told to "not ask questions like that when it is so busy." How would we know that you are busy? Why not pick up the phone and ask if we can be put on hold? Also, to call back hours later to tell us off like that is very unprofessional. I will most definitely advise customers to avoid this location and go with another company.

The guy we met when we picked up our car was great. He asked if we wanted to buy insurance, and we did. During our trip, I realized that our travel insurance covered the car rental also. When we returned the car a different guy with a Caribbean accent said he couldn't refund the insurance we bought separately with Hertz, which I could understand. My mistake. I have to ask, right? But the guy actually laughed at me when I did ask. If his goal was to make me feel stupid, I already did and this just made it worse. If his goal was to provide good customer service, he missed by a mile. I'll likely go with a different rental company next time.

My Husband and I always rent a car from here when we're on the Island for our vacation. We also rent from other locations as well.. Such as Arizona. The staff has always been friendly and courteous. We've never waited more than 20 minutes for paperwork and keys. The vehicles we reserved are the vehicles we received. They were always clean and smelled nice. My Husband is meticulous at checking over the vehicles for damage before driving away. To assure we will not be blamed for damage that wasn't discovered before handing over the vehicle. I recommend always doing that! The only issue we've ever had is that we have purchased GPS systems every time.. Only to discover that all of the vehicles we've rented have had a built in GPS that worked perfectly (Not broken) Extra money we didn't need to spend... But whatever.. Not a big deal. Just.. The staff should know what vehicles have GPS and which are in working order.. Just a thought ???? My Husband is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the vehicle industry. Having worked and lived it his entire life, so he's very particular. When my Husband and I had our honeymoon in Arizona .. He wanted the fasted sports car to cruise the desert in. He called inquiring about what was available. The first car was a Mustang.. And he asked if it was a V6 (Don't want) or V8 and the girl said V12 ???? lol That gave us a good chuckle.. But at the same time.. If you work with vehicles and sell them; maybe you should have some basic knowledge ???? The worst part is that she was very adamant and 100% positive it was a V12. My Husband assured her that is wasn't. Needless to say he ask to speak with someone else ???? I feel bad for the other (not so vehicle savvy/knowleageble) customers who thought they were going to get a V12 track car ???? When we're on the Island we like to rent a Chrysler 300, perfect mountain cruiser. For the Arizona trip we ended up getting a Camaro.

Made the mistake of renting here and not sticking with Enterprise which is my usual go to. Got downgraded to a scratched up car half the size of what I needed, no credit back. Terrible service, terrible company. Won’t make the mistake again.
