What a great car rental company! Formerly Rent a Wreck, they will rent you a super nice SUV, sedan or whatever with a few clicks - cleaned and ready to go for 25% off anyone else - and not hassle you about buying their insurance. Its there if you need it, but if your CC covers it - you are good to go. 200K per day - plus over rides if you need. Super friendly and competent staff. They even engineered a split rental - 4 days here - then after taking the ferry to Sydney, met us there with the van - and allowed us to drop off at the Victoria airport no extra charges!! Highly recommended. sd

I have rented cars at both locations, Tsawwassen (Delta) and Victoria and the service has been exceptional! Pickup from the airport and ferry on two separate occasions made renting a car very convenient. I also found Delta Car & Truck Rentals to have the most competitive prices. Bo, David, Michelle and Tom are very knowledgeable and accommodating.

Had such an amazing experience with them from start to finish!! They were so flexible and willing to accommodate whatever I needed. They picked me up from Tswassan terminal, it was very easy to find the driver and it was a quick ride to their office. Picking up the car was fast and hassle free! I had to make a couple last minute changes to my reservation and they were so accommodating and made everything very easy for me. The vehicle was great, very clean and no issues. I will definitely use them again on my next visit and would 100% recommend to anyone!

What a nice personal service at the counter and flexibility with all details for the car rent. I got an excellent Hyundai Sonata perfect condition and could do / drive everything which I had planned. Normally I rent at Vancouver airport but this is much more convenient being in Delta area. Chapeau!

10/10 service 10/10 new cars 10/10 EVERYTHING. Not only do they pick you up from the ferry, but they also have AMAZING customer service. Prices are outstanding. They don't try to upsell you or gouge you. They also have an inclusive drop off location with a shuttle to the ferry. Oh, did I mention that if you are running late (thanks Vancouver traffic) and you did not refuel, they only charge for the gas that they put in? No crazy up-charges there like other companies. I found my new favorite means of acquiring transportation while on mainland.

These guys are GREAT! Anyone going to Vancouver for a day from the island…save the ferry money, leave your car, and use these guys! I took the ferry to Tsawwassen so I could visit family in Vancouver during the Xmas Holidays while my wife continued to visit many family and friends on the island. Delta Car picked me up from the Tsawwassen terminal. The rental rate was very competitive. The car was reliable. I parked as requested after hours at the Stop & Go lot which took me back to the ferry terminal. I figure I saved at least $70 versus bringing my own vehicle for this day trip. They made it real easy for me! I highly recommend them!

Best rental experience EvEr. Prompt pick up at the ferry terminal, extended rental no questions asked. On returning we had only minutes to try and make a ferry - were told not to worry about stopping for fuel and offered to have them take care of it without any added mark up. I highly recommend Delta Car and Truck Rentals!

Tom Sewyer is the most awesome guy you can ever hope to rent you a car, I was in Vitoria for the very first time ever and he made renting a car so easy, Tom went above and beyond for me. Bo and his team offer a very handy and affordable service for anyone coming into Tswwassen from Victoria. He will happily pick you up when you get off the ferry, saving you the hassle of negotiating public transit. He is flexible and an all around decent guy offering a great car rental opportunity. Very affordable rates and quality cars. Busy guy during the summer, so booking ahead would be wise.

Best customer service I have had in a long time. They picked us up at the ferry and dropped us off at a bus stop that would make it easier for us to get to the airport. If you are renting a car for the week, they will pick you up and drop you off at the airport. Great staff and great cars. I wish every car rental company was this amazing. Great experience, good vehicles. I was met at the Tsawwassen Ferry terminal by the Delta agent who brought me to their facility. Car was in excellent condition and was comfortable, all at a very reasonable rate which allowed me to avoid the high cost of ferrying my car from and back to Victoria. I was able to leave the car at a nearby parking lot with shuttle service to the later ferries. Couldn't have been easier. Don't hesitate to rent from Delta; like me, you'll be pleased you did.

David is a very honest business man, and will make you feel comfortable in whatever you rent. I even had the unfortunate event of inflicting damage to one of his little gems, and still working with him is pleasant. (Sorry for bumping your sonata Dave, hope it looks as good as new). You won't find a better price anywhere, and the Ferry service is a must if you're going that direction.

One of the cheapest places to rent a car in Vancouver. Service is very good and friendly. Cars aren't the best but all you really need in a rental car. You can do airport pick-up and drop-off for a fee. The airport drop off is very convenient and you can do it anytime day or night.

Great service and a tough panel van. It was a 1 ton and handled the road trip loaded with stuff no problem. The owner was nice and offered me a ride home when I returned it. Will use this business again.

David from Delta Car Rentals was so lovely. He picked me up and dropped me off at the ferry, and was very flexible to my schedule. He provided a cheerful tour of Delta as we drove around. As I left town in the rental, he had me follow him in another vehicle to the highway to ensure I took the best route to my destination. The website can be glitchy when booking but it's worth it to give them a call and get your rental car scheduled. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

We had a fantastic experience with Delta car rental. We arrived at Tsawwassen at 7:15 am and they came to pick us up even though they don't open until 9am. Very fast pick up and drop off, no pressure to buy extra insurance, they do not overcharge for fuel if you don't fill up. The car was clean and reliable. We will definitely be using Delta again.

We rented a car from here for 4 days coming from Vancouver Island. Pickup and drop off from/to the ferry was very easy, a booster seat was provided for one of our sons, the rates were very reasonable (better than pretty much anyone else even remotely close to him), and Dave's overall demeanor was relaxed and easy. Do yourself a favour and skip the online booking/rate inquiry. Just call up Dave directly and he'll have you sorted in no time flat. We would not hesitate to rent from him again, and we visit the mainland often. With the ferry fares going up as they have been, it is cheaper for our family to walk on and rent a car for a few days rather than drive both ways. No brainer, really.

You know when you hear about the small businesses being more client-oriented than large corporations? Well, this is exactly what this is about. These folks are all about friendly, quality service. We were looking for a car rental close to the ferry terminal. They pick you up, and drop you off right at the ferry terminal. They are easy to get in touch with. They are happy to help you when your schedule changes. Their prices are reasonable. The 5-star rating is definitely deserved.

Open on Sunday, needed something of an emergency set of wheels for a job coming up as my auto had a minor brake And the part to fix wouldn't come till mid week. These guys not only pulled through with a rather nice newish economy car, but they gave me an excellent deal, some extra days to ensure I was able to fix my ride and still have some wheels, and give me a ride to and from the store. There just aren't businesses like this anymore! I don't give 5 stars out lightly but this is an easy 5 star service.

David is an excellent person to deal with. I fly my small plane from Vancouver Island to Boundary Bay airport* and rent a car from him, and he has always helped me out. He is very friendly and professional - a real pleasure to deal with. *Ironically, even with the drop-off fee for Boundary Bay airport it is cheaper for me to fly over and rent from him than it is for me to take my own car on BC Ferries.
