Just 8n case you didn't know They have diff costs incase you need one in a hurry and need cheap then get small.???? Also they treated us great all three time we have used them and they always made things easier then needed. And were very welcoming and at home. Thanks guys. Not very happy with their service The manager yes he was fine great but the fellow I dealt with when picking up my rental not so much. But my main concern is that i have returned my rental almost 10 days ago and have still not got my security deposit back yet nor any explanation why they are keeping it. This is not acceptable

Went to purchase moving boxes from the Port Alberni Budget car rental location. They said "sorry, we don't take business checks, even from a local company" Good corporate citizen!! Went to u-haul at Nextcar on 10th Ave instead. Good service. But good luck Budget...How is that working out for you?

Hello Wanted to share my experience with Budget in Port Alberni. First, after paying for the rental of their 5 ton truck, I asked to use the washroom. The reply, with a nasty up and down look was: "I guess, just make sure you don't have any accidents." I have actually been toilet trained for over 40 years! I also got charged an extra 19 litres of fuel at over 2$ a litre, (price is at 1.05$/l). The tank has instructions to not fill tank to over 90%. Therefore I filled the tank till the pump stopped. This means full. Looked inside, 90%. I run machinery for a living and have filled many a tank. Against instructions on tank, Budget apparently squeezed in 19 more litres, which would mean they fiiled it right to top. This is obviously a trap. Good luck!

Terrible service, understaffed and slow Especially in winter Cars have to be dug out of snow for clients We received a dirty car after waiting 1 hour at the rental desk only 1 girl working The location at Terrace airport is a Licensee / franchise of Budget Do not rent from here our car did not have winter tires and inside on driver side had snow and puddles water from staff digging car out even though we booked in advance The girl at the desk advised she was alone Unprofessional location

Completely disappointing. Budget charged me $20 more a day for the same vehicle than the neighboring booth of National Car Rental. Then at checkout, overcharged me $97, when I called to ask for the price match and refund for the overcharge the staff member was rude talking over me and unhelpful. Finally, days later a corrected receipt was emailed - still awaiting refund.

I have been renting cars here for 4 years and I am trying to get a return phone call about a billing concern and nobody is willing to call me back. I have left several messages but nobody will call back. Might be time to switch agencies.

This is the worst rental company, the cars are old and the service was Bad. We rented a car that was not clean and we signed inspection slip and months later we received an e mail from Harold Daumount the manger Our flight was delayed and my wife waited over 1 hour to get a Car Any customer should make a complaint direct to Budget Head office The car was dirty and the staff Harold was unprofessional & Rude.
