Just be careful of the 407 toll fees if your travelling, I got dinged pretty hard. 33.82 dollars in extra toll fees.

I had my vehicle reapaired at the Carstar that this Discount rental location is attached to. I rented a vehicle from this location and purchased the Collision Damage Waiver. The day my vehicle was ready for pickup, I returned my rental. I returned the rental during business hours but there wasn't an agent to be seen. I checked the rental to make sure that there wasn't any damage, which there wasn't. I left the key with receptionist at Carstar (since they were attached) so that the agent would get the key back whenever they actually returned to office. Now I am being accused damages occurring to the rental while in my possession. If only the agent was onsite doing their job this wouldn't have happened. I've had other vehicles repaired at the same Carstar since this incident and chose a car rental agency a few kilometres away. I will not go back to this Discount location.

I had a great experience at this location, especially from manager Fazela who reschedule me twice as i did not get a firm moving date from the builder. Fazela also reserved me a bigger truck at the same rate as my original truck, this was a huge bonus as i only made one trip. She also suggested i pay for the whole day which was a few dollars in case i did not return in time, again a great suggestion as i returned the truck at 9:00 PM. My next rental will be with Fazela at this location.

I cannot say that I even had an opportunity to rent a car from this location. I had spoken to a gentleman ( I will not say his name to avoid him the embarrassment) 2 weeks prior to having to bringing my car into the Carstar to have repair done to my bumper. On the conversation 2 weeks prior I had an in-depth conversation to determine exactly what and how much I would require to rent a car as my insurance was not paying for this. The gentleman gave me a quote and I believed I had all the information that was needed. I have rented a car before so I was not sure what was entailed. When I arrived yesterday I was asked for my drivers license and credit card. I handed them over at which point I was told that I needed to give a $300 deposit to get the car. I informed him that I did not have $300 on my card , to which he replied , “ who doesn’t have $300 dollars available on their card?!?” I was shocked with this sort of comment and proceeded to explain my situation to my embarrassment, as this was none of his business! When enquired why I was not informed that I would be needing deposit that HAD to be done by credit card he said , “ well you never asked !” After this point o left ( with no car) I had it planned to pay for everything via my debit account as I do not use my credit card for personal use but for business only. Had I been TOLD at the beginning ( two weeks prior) what would be needed I would have been prepare and not left without a car and completely EMBARRASSED and HUMILIATED.

These guys dont check their vehicles properly when renting them out and as a result I have to pay for a scratch which was already there upon renting

The car brakes were bad, and when i called them to swtich the vehicle the girl that works there said i have to take it in for service lol...since when the customer takes rental vehicles for service, i would never ever rent from here i also reported this to my insurance company. So far i had no calls from the manager or a different vehicle it been 3 weeks
