Since the moment I walked in to the time I left with my rav4 xle, everything was super! There were a few hiccups after but very quickly fixed.
Very friendly staff. I went in for a service and asked that if they did a tire rotation, if they could put my wheel spacers on at the same time. They said if they did a rotation, they would. I picked up my truck which did get a rotation with the service and unfortunately they were not installed, but still in the boxes on my back seat. I am new to Edmonton and have no floor jack or garage so I do not look forward to installing them myself during winter months. Great location for customer service but don't bother asking for anything extra even if it only takes them 5-10 min.
I had a great experience! I live in the North and needed a new vehicle, I was able to do everything over the phone and email. Adam and Myron were both very friendly and helpful, answered all my questions and provided me with all the information I need and the service was amazing. It was done quickly and efficiently. Took our vehicle at the new location today. Everything was great up until the pick up time. Told them I have to have our vehicle at 12noon Bec I need to pick up my mother from dialysis. I was there at 12, went to where Geoff told me to go when we checked in. Two ladies where jn the counter Lilly and Francesca. These ladies did not acknowledge my presence, I was literally in front of them. Another counter lady (didn’t get her name but she was right beside Francesca to the right - she was also the one who told me that I was supposed to go to the another desk for pick up ) anyways, she called the person that was next in line (I was not lined up because there was nobody there when I arrived and I was just talking to Lilly on the phone a minute ago to say that I was on my way so I came in front of her). They need to remember that this is a new location and not everyone knows where to go ( there was a sign but to my understanding - upon check in- we were to go where we were). .
The sales associate that helped me was Wayne. I let him know that I was only test driving cars as I hadn't recieved the settlement from my insurance settlement. He was great to deal with. I wanted to test drive 2 vehicles and I did. He even showed me another 2 models that he thought I would like (he was correct). Even though he knew I wasn't buying anything right away, he took his time and made sure I was well informed. No pressure at all. Great experience. Would definitely recommend.
We went to buy used camry hybrid. Casey Curran(Senior Product Advisor) from sales was so great and helped us from beginning to end. We found 1 minor problem with car door during test drive and dealership agreed to split cost half and half. The part had a wait time of 1 week. To our surprise door got fixed on its own after we started driving. So I requested to cancel on the part. They understood and cancelled the part issuing full refund. I have never seen such customer service anywhere. I highly recommend them specially for used cars.

I recently bought my first car from mayfield toyota! My salesman was Mahesh , The best salesman I could ever ask for. He worked very hard from start to finish. He got me the best deal for the car with everything I asked for. He is very helpful and very caring. I wouldnt have got this car if it wasnt for him. My first very experience from mayfield with a different salesman didnt go well, Mahesh was the reason I came back to mayfield and tried it out for the second time. Came for an oil change two weeks ago. Told me when I drove truck inside that I needed an appoint , after already waiting outside 20 minutes. So I made appointment, two weeks later, for an oil change. Lady too my info , new everything about the truck I had and made an appointment for an oil change. Now two weeks later I’m here and they tell me I’m not do for an oil change until another 6000 km. That the sticker is just for service inspection and tire rotation. I’m like really why wasn’t this told to me two weeks ago. I wasted my time coming here. I think they did this to me cause it’s my free oil change and undercoating inspection. Now they say they will honour my free oil change but it will take 1 1/2 hours long. Never coming back . Rather pay at Mr Lube Better service.

I wasn't sure about a couple different cars and he took into account my needs and budget and found me the perfect car. Tried to buy a vehicle off this dealership. It felt like they couldn't bother. Clearly they're too busy with whats going on at the new location. I called looking at 4 vehicles that were posted on Carguru. When I called I spoke with Jim... he's a sales manager- and " they weren't for sale". There was no follow up questions, they didn't offer me another vehicle suggestion, they basically hung up. The salesman I initially spoke with (before being transferred to Jim) told me that Carguru is a ploy to get people in the door. I expect better from Toyota. My business will stay with Gateway.

I mostly mean Casey Curran my product advisor. He helped me make good decisions that I was comfortable with not leaving with doubts. The service my spouse & I received during our visit to Mayfield Toyota was the most pleasant we've had at a Dealership! From our sales associate, Jason, the manager Shawn, finance manager Myron and the service manager Justin! They all took their time to answer all of our questions, and help us purchase 2 new vehicles that we love. I recently brought my vehicle in to install a set of running boards (Highlander), and the Service team were all friendly, and professional to deal with! I bought a used vehicle, which had a preexisting electrical issue with the fog lights . This was not reported on the inspection. I contacted the dealer a week later indicating that I was not happy with the car and would like to arrange an exchange. They were not interested in addressing the issue. Feel like they got too big and the individual customer doesn't matter. After emailing and speaking to general manager directly all problems we fixed. New oem parts were installed at no cost.
Had a great experience here with Will (sales). He was professional and laid back...not at all pushy. Wrote an email to inquire about the car after hours (around 9pm), and was surprised to get a response back almost immediately! It's a brand new dealership, and we weren't disappointed. Everything went smoothly with finance, and we were able to get a fair price on the car we wanted. Very happy with our service- would recommend! Beautiful showroom and it looks like if we ever did business here, we would be taken care of. Sadly that would not be the case as my husband and I were actively ignored for an hour. We tried to get workers attention, but they said they would be back and never returned. We watched groups of salesman and workers visit with eachother and there was NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. We decided to go elsewhere at this time. I hope you can fix this problem for your own sakes.

Poor customer service. I tried to make a simple request but the clerk person (Margo) ignored me. I tried to call and they transferred me to a number that never answered. I left a voicemail and they never called me back. Very disappointing Update: after 2 months, they haven't responded any of my attempts to complete a simple transaction. If you want to avoid person to person interaction during these times, Mayfield toyota wont care and they will ignore you until you have to go there.
Danny (sales) had been super informative and taking good care of us since the 1st time we visited the show home without any appointment. He even helped me to wash my car plate before installing it onto my new Toyota! Joan also provided us a lot of useful info. Absolutely one of the easiest transactions ever when purchasing a new vehicle. Started off last year emailing a bunch of greater Edmonton toyota dealers, Dave White got back to me almost right away. From there everything was super smooth, even waiting for the vehicle to come wasn't bad as Dave kept me updated. I cannot recommend Dave White enough, if your in the market for new vehicle he is definitely your guy! 11/10 would definitely recommend.

I would like to make a complaint about the service department at mayfield today! I previous brought my vehicle to mayfield Toyota for a few services and my experience there was nothing but horrible! A dealership I trusted. I contacted the service Manager CHRIS KELLER about a concern I had about a fluid that was changed, which I thought I could get some advise that turned out to be unprofessional. Turned out he shut the phone on my face without making me feel safe or even taking his time to talk to me about it. Never thought taking my business to a place like that would be such a bad experience! I will definitely will be telling my family and friends who services there vehicle there not to go there anymore and if something does happen to my vehicle I will be taking further action!
Great experience dealing with this dealership, from what started as a text message chat through their website, eventually turned into having a very fair trade in value offered on my Tacoma - then bringing home my new Tundra; quite the upgrade to say the least & I love the new vehicle! I was searching for a RAV4 Hybrid. I was told at a different dealership that they wouldn’t give any discount because it was so popular. I contacted Jason Deng at Mayfield Toyota and he immediately offered me a discount and built a deal that met all my needs and even included a car starter. Jason was even able to get a different model and colour in for me when others couldn’t. He was quick to respond and bent over backwards to show me they wanted my business. Having said that, at no point did I feel pressured, he always left me in the drivers seat and let me make the decisions on my own time. This made the experience stress free and extremely comfortable. I will never shop at another dealership. If you want the best deal and no pressure I highly recommend Jason Deng. Hands down the best car buying experience I’ve ever had.

I was recently looking for a used vehicle to replace my Corolla that was written off last month. I decided to give Mayfield Toyota a shot because that's where I'd had my vehicle serviced for years and I've always had a good experience there. Prior to going in I was keeping an eye on Facebook marketplace and car gurus to make sure I didn't get ripped off like I did with my Corolla (different dealership). Then one of their advisors Vendan came out and talked to my husband and I to find out our needs and budget. I wound up purchasing the first vehicle he showed us as it was perfect. I didn't think I'd be able to upgrade from my 2013 Corolla from what the insurance company gave me, but I wound up leaving with a newer vehicle, a little larger, and with much less km's on it. I would definitely return to this dealership and purchase another vehicle from Vendan after this experience!

My 2021 Tacoma went in as the adhesive on one of my front Fender Flares was starting to detach so my fender was starting to peel off. When i had them look at it initially i felt as if they weren't really paying attention to what i was explaining as the service man walked to the opposite side of the vehicle i had the problem on. Then told me he couldn't see anything wrong. After they had a look at it, they told me they would have to order in the part and gave me my keys and walked away. I suppose i was to assume they'd just call me when the part arrived. When the part finally arrived on a Tuesday they called and booked me in at 9:30am on the Thursday. When i dropped off my truck at 9:30 they said it would be about an hour and a half, so I took a shuttle back and they said my truck would be ready by 3pm the same day. I got a call about 2pm saying that they didnt realize the fender didnt come in painted so they would have to take it to get painted. Why did it take 2 days and all afternoon Thursday to realize the color didnt match? Fast forward i pick up my truck on Monday, they didnt tell me the 3m i had on my vehicle isn't covered under warranty so now i have to get that done again, but when i picked up my truck they had the old dirty fender on my back seats placed adhesive side down. Thankfully no damage to my seat after peeling the fender off, but it made my back seat pretty dirty. Spoke to the Service Manager and he explained that they shouldve never put the old fender back in my truck in the first place. Overall i wouldnt recommend taking your vehicle here, despite the apology from the Service people, they seem rather lazy with their work. I would expect better care of a vehicle than they have shown me.

If you like last minute surprises, like no-resale agreements and high pressure sales tactics in the finance office when purchasing your vehicle, this is the place for you! Terrible overall experience, mostly stemming from leadership right up to the GM. Zero customer appreciation. I will note that Wayne and Marshall in sales were top notch, so if you need to shop there I would recommend dealing with one of them. But if you can, avoid this place at all costs.

I purchased a new 2021 RAV4 hybrid Limited from Mayfield. Wayne Halaby was the salesperson who helped me. I found Wayne to be very easygoing and helpful. Wayne answered my questions honestly, and looked things up as needed. I never felt that “pressure’” one often feels at a car dealership... Wayne made the buying experience very stress free. He didn’t drive me bonkers with some back and forth routine between the salesman and the sales manager. He gave me a competitive price the first time I asked, and we had a deal. Jodi Fournier helped me with all the paperwork, and she was very professional and friendly. Jodi even helped me a few days after I’d bought the car with some questions I had. *Jodi has a great sense of humour and she was a pleasure to deal with. I had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with one of your salesman by the name of Omar, I came in to look at some options for a new car as I am currently in the market. My boyfriend and myself were directed to Omar who shook hands with my boyfriend and when I went to shake hands with him he proceeded to say to me "Out of respect, that's okay" and refused my handshake. Not only did the experience throw off myself and my boyfriend but frankly at what point is that okay or respectful? While showing us cars Omar directed his full attention to my boyfriend and not once made any eye-contact with me - the one buying the car. Hopefully I will have a better experience at a more professional dealership.

Both were very accommodating and professional as well as friendly to work with and were able to settle a deal with me on the purchase. The experience of dealing with them was good. I have been coming to this location since moving from Calgary. Their oil change service is cheap ($43 for a compact car) and I only wait about an hour to an hour and half. I tried other Toyota dealerships and have paid more with similar service. I have recommended this place to my coworkers and will keep doing so. You guys are wonderful.

Been with Mayfield Toyota for over 10 years, bought 4 cars from them over the years. For the pass 2 years, I noticed they changed their business practice, at least on the service side of the business. They are pushy on stuff you don't need to get done or finding ways to charge you more on your service bills. My 2014 Sienna had a service recall on the sliding door, I called in to book the appointment so that I could get my oil change and safety recall done at the same time. When I got there, they told me they have to order the parts and needed my car for 2 days with no rental car available for me. So what's the point of me calling to book my appointment 2 weeks in advance. And wouldn't it make sense to have parts around when you are deal with a national recall on one of the most popular selling car in the country? 6 months later, my van is due for another oil change. I decided to book an appointment for oil and service recall, after 2 phone calls I finally secured myself a rental car and the parts that needed to perform the safety recall! Yes, it is finally done but why did a customer had to do so much when those services are expected! On top of that, on my last service, I asked them to check my two screws on the license plate. They will rotate and won't come out. First thing the service advisor said is one hour of labour to take care of that. I was like you haven't even checked on them yet but wanted me to agreed with 1 hour labour charges! I used to recommend this dealership to every family and friends. But looks like there is a downturn on business practice from higher up. Sort it out and I will keep buying from Mayfield or else someone else will get my money.
Edit: Followed up with the provided email address below by "the owner" and still no response from them... Took the day off to get an oil change and detailing done to my car. Terrible job as they left so many places untouched/uncleaned. Please see photos for reference.(cup holders, inside of the doors, area around emergency break, dashboard etc.) I reached out to the service department with no response, really disappointing.

Because of the shortage of this model, we bought our new car in Edmonton even though we live in Calgary. We were treated with great courtesy by West Edmonton Mall Toyota starting with a pickup from the airport and all through the final delivery process. Alexander Sherman, our sales advisor, organized the whole event for us, including a tour of the brand new magnificent facility and an introduction to the excellent Toyota Prius Prime. Toyota's showroom Mayfield Toyota is very famous and qualified showroom. The showroom is big and very clean. They have the maximum various Toyota, Camry , Corolla, Avalon RAV4,and much more like many types of Highlander 4 runners,and FJ Cruiser...I bought a car from here and very happy with the service . I was disappointed with the customer service I received from Mayfield Toyota today. One of the service staff suggested to me that if I did not bring my 2018 tundra in every 8000 km for a "routine" check up Toyota may refuse warranty if any issues were to occur. Now of course I always have the proper maintenance done to the truck at the recommended intervals but to suggest I should pay for a "routine" inspection every 8000 km or possible voided warranty is just wrong. They pressure you so hard into "getting the best deal", the sales agent also lied to me about the financing % claiming it's an "only tonight offer" when the whole company was on red tag deals. They also wouldn't refund you your "money down to reserve", even when you found a better deal elsewhere. Very difficult to negotiate a deal with their ultimatum tactics. Better to haggle elsewhere. And if you back out from their offer, they will non stop harass you for days. Be cautious buying from here.

READ THIS BEFORE USING THEIR MECHANICS I have no issues with the sales side of Mayfield. They have nice staff and a clean facility. If you read their reviews, that's where a lot of 5 stars come from. Read the 1 star ones. I dropped off my Matrix for routine maintenance and oil change: The mechanic reported that both my front and rear brakes were "metal on metal" needing replaced, he also said that I needed brake fluid, and an engine air filter. I hadn't noticed anything wrong with my brakes, so I declined over the phone. They pressed me, saying the mechanic recommended that my car didn't leave the facility without this work being done. When I picked up my car I noticed instantly that there was a very loud grinding sound eveytime I braked. This sound was NOT there when I dropped off my vehicle. My husband had also driven my car two days prior, and said he had noticed nothing irregular about my brakes. I went to another mechanic, who is a family member: My front brakes were NOT "metal on metal" as reported, they had roughly 20% of the pad left. The rear brakes were in horrible condition and the rotor was also damaged as well. I did NOT need brake fluid. I did NOT need an engine air filter replacement for another few months. Did someone see the stroller in the car and decide I was an easy target? For you to decide: Front brakes generally go before rear ones when they are the same age. If my front ones were still at 20%, it's highly suspicious that my rear ones would be naturally in such poor condition. The sound of those brakes were deafening on my drive home. That sound was NOT there when I dropped the car off. The mechanic was misleading about several things, how unethical was the behaviour in total? I replaced both front and rear brakes, and the rotor at my mechanics advice. Because I didn't want to have to go back within 4 months, I just had him replace the engine air filter anyway. *What I would have paid at Mayfield: 1330$ *What I paid at my mechanic before any family discounts: 500$ These are tough times. People become desperate. Do your research and stay safe.

The sales department was transparent with their pricing and gave us time to consider things like one should for a major purchase. We were very pleased with all of the staff and will be happy to continue getting service from Mayfield and are looking forward to their new location at WEM in the fall.
We have been coming to Mayfield Toyota for so many years before we relocated. Their sales team is truly amazing and we got great deals with our brand new vehicle at the time (even for our second brand new vehicle). Unfortunately though, we discovered that their service team is not that understanding. Each time we take our vehicle for service, we feel the pressure of agreeing to whatever service they recommend because their team members seems to be infuriated; not sure why since we are calm and compliant. There were instances that we asked to come back because we can't afford those additional service/s (plus they're not critical) and we would explain that to them but we're usually faced with a negative response. We all have different priorities in life so it really helps to be understanding towards each other. This is something that we hope their team would realize and work on.

I currently own my second car from Mayfield Toyota. First one purchased in 2009, my daughter still drives that one. I purchased my second one in 2013. I have never been disappointed with my service. I felt compelled to finally write review though, because recently I had them do a full detail on my car, and was amazed at how well it was done! There wasn't a spot missed inside or out. And they even buffed out white streaks along the outside. My car looked brand new! I couldn't have been more pleased.

I was in the market for a car and was pretty set on a Toyota. I went to a couple different dealerships and none of them were patient and informative like Andy Lam. This was my first car shopping experience, and I definitely didn’t make the process easy. As this was a huge financial commitment, I had numerous questions and was unsure about the whole process. I was unable to make up my mind for a long time and kept going back and forth between a new car vs used. Andy was very patient every step of the way and helpful in guiding me in the right direction. I never once felt pressured as he let me take the lead on all decisions. I spoke to a handful of different sales persons before him, and none of them took the time to explain anything the way Andy did. He helped me weigh out the pros and cons of each decision, gave very useful advice, and was very transparent. He took the time to explain everything, answered every single question I had, and never rushed me. We went back to see him about four times before I finally made a decision on a car. Service department seems to be only interested in making money and not in providing any decent level of customer service. I would avoid getting anything other than a basic oil change and tire swap done here. I've been trying to resolve an issue with Toyota Canada and the Mayfield service manager for months now. The service manager is never available to take calls or return messages. I finally gave up. I will go elsewhere for my next service.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Bought a new vehicle recently went into the dealership to pick up some fuses and have spare fuses in my glove box just for the case of when something goes out.didn't like they needed so much details about me though seemed a bit over the top he wanted my VIN number phone number and email seems an awful lot of personal information just to buy fuses. Also it seemed very expensive for the fuses need to look into that walked out the door feeling like I massively overpaid need to check that out.

Overall good service. Did purchase a vehicle from them and found out when I got it home that the rear window windshield wiper blade was torn. Some how it got past the Mechanical fitness assessment and the 160 point Toyota Certified Used Vehicle assurance inspection. When I brought it to their attention they offered to replace it, unfortunately they did not have one in stock so another trip the dealer to pick up the new wiper blade.
I have to say that overall I am very satisfied with my new 2022 Prius and the process of purchasing and actually getting my car here. There was a "hiccup" at the end as the wrong car arrived but within days "my" car arrived and all was well again. Harry and Myron were there to reassure me that they would quickly have the problem resolved and were most understanding and kind regarding my impatience. I traded in our 2009 Prius and have always had Mayfield Toyota do all the servicing on our car. We always felt like valued customers and our concerns mattered. I called another location they said to bring it in they would handle it.This location flagged my account so now other locations can’t warranty. Service manager was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Bought a vehicle from mayfield. truck was fully inspected when I bought it from mayfield, I have only driven roughly 17000km got 1 oil change, went to book my second oil change now my truck needs a comprehensive inspection. ( which the lady claimed needs to be done every two oil changes) On a truck that was inspected when I bought it and I only driven 17000km now needs a $112+ GST comprehensive inspection????? Since when do vehicles need to be fully inspected every two oil changes????

I called mayfield Toyota on a Pick up truck for sale moments after it was posted. The listed price was $41,910. When I contacted the sales associate and got more information on the truck, we had decided to leave a deposit on it as we could not make it to Edmonton till the weekend. The sales associate took my information and a proposal for purchase was drawn up. 25 minutes later, the sales associate called me back and said that they had made a mistake. I asked what the mistake was and he said the truck was listed for the incorrect price. The actual price was $45,900. I asked to speak with the sales manager to find out how this all happened and they said it was a system glitch. The truck was listed on 3 different platforms for the same price when posted for sale AND their own dealer website. Naturally I was frustrated and told them we would deal with it the next day. I called the GM of the dealer the following morning to ask why the price was adjusted, again their answer was it was a system glitch. My problem is is that the dealer had ZERO desire to make things right or try and make a deal at all. The sales manager on shift when I had originally called in was also very arrogant and essentially told me that “I don’t have to sell the truck to you”. All in all it was a garage experience and I hope people are aware of random price changes. **** A day after if was posted for $45,900 the price was changed AGAIN and it’s final list price was almost $49,000. **** price gouging at it’s finest!
Hi I just recently came for my first maintenance on my 2016 highlander on the 5th of March and all went well. The tires were rotated but no wheel balancing, I noticed that steering wheel slightly vibrating between 110km/hr to 120km/hr. There was nothing like that before I went for this service, what do I do? Plus I don't want to travel another 4 hrs 30min for another 1 hrs job. Thanks

I recently purchased a used vehicle here and had a great experience with my salesman; however, I cannot say the same about the service department. My service associate, Meagan, was incredibly short with me and delivered sub par customer service skills. This is my first vehicle and the first time I serviced a vehicle so I wasn’t fully sure what my experience should be. I felt that my questions were not answered to my full satisfaction and while giving me updates on my vehicle she hung up on me more than once while I was in the middle of a sentence. 2015 Toyota Rav4 XLE AWD, only 45,000 Km, Mayfield Toyota constantly overfilled my engine oil level. A very nice technician helped me to adjust the oil level right after the FREE LIFE oil change. About 600 ml extra engine oil. Hey, Toyota, is your oil for free? Somebody called after few days, collect info and said she's gonna get back to me. About 5 weeks ago...no sign yet. Very disappointed....
I had my pickup detailed on September 2 2020 - I had used their Premium detail package - Megan in service was good and booking me a loaner vehicle . Loved mayfield Toyota when I first moved to Edmonton. Now all I find with them is an absolute lack of customer service and overpriced vehicles. This summer I took a friend to check out vehicles there and he was wanting to buy a Second hand rav4. They had a 2007 for $12k. We both felt that was too high. My buddy decided to check out Toyota on the trail too. We found a 2012 rav4 for $9k in way better condition with more features. Even the guys at Toyota on the trail when they looked up that first rav we looked at said it was way overpriced. Since September I have been trying to figure out a dash camera for my vehicle. I have been sending multiple emails to the parts department trying to get specs for their dash camera as well as if I’m able to get a rear camera or not as I have a 4Runner and my back window rolls down so the rear would have to be installed some other way off the window. It takes me multiple emails of the exact same questions and also asking if they even want my business to get short one sentence answers that still don’t answer my questions and having to cc in one of their customer service people. Just a complete lack of Carr when they could have had a booked sale in. Don’t bother wasting ur time or money they obviously don’t want it.

Had my Jeep in to get an oil change and check up while working. From inquiry call I placed on my way to work to picking my vehicle back up when all was said and done I was extremely impressed. The entire experience felt like I was dealing valet parking at a high end hotel and was also so high tech and advanced while remaining personable. While I was dropping off my Jeep they also had a deluxe detailing package on special which combined with the oil change was so affordable I was shocked. I dealt with a service representative, Anthony, who was professional, personable and so attentive, I felt like I had been a regular there for years. For these reasons combined with the expertise they offer on a “non Toyota” vehicle, I will be getting all of my future servicing etc. done with Anthony and the team at WEM Toyota.
The service provided by Mayfield Toyota was exceptional! Unlike other dealerships, there was absolutely no pressure in making a purchase. Andy Lam carefully explained the features of the different RAV4 models, which made it a lot easier to decide on which model to buy. On pickup day, Andy had already placed markers in the manual on relevant information, which is very helpful if something happens as I don't have to scramble through the pages. Last 3-4 experiences with the service team were horrible. I myself have worked in the car industry for many years and my experience with the service reception all the way up to the management team has been like no other. The salesman I dealt with when I first purchased the vehicle was great, but the service team there has completely ruined the overall experience for me at Toyota. I will NEVER deal with Toyota West Edmonton again, solely because of them. At least at other places, the staff pretend to care.

Went in for my regular oil change. I had just put on my winter tires so naturally my tire pressure light came on, which is usually a simple calibration fix. I would usually go to Costco or Kaltire as they do it for free but I figured since I'm getting my oil changed I may as well let Toyota calibrate my sensors. Showed up and the lady at the front desk wants to charge me $30. I buy a new $50,000 truck, pay thousands for all their "recommended maintenance" throughout the years, and they can not do a simple 5 minute task out of courtesy. Give me a break. I then asked to talk to a manager and the lady said he is busy so it would 25-30 minutes. No problem, I'll wait. Manager never came. Nice new building and pretty crazy shop but overall customer service is horrible.
Once I decided to start looking at the RAV4 as my next vehicle I had no doubt it would be from Mayfield Toyota because of my past experiences with their service department. Mahesh Rajan approached me in a friendly non aggressive manner and showed me the RAV4 that I was interested in. I went back a couple days later for a test drive and to talk options. Mahesh was very knowledgeable and with the help of Sales Manager Shawn Diakur we worked out a deal. I also have to mention Lesley Matthews in finance row making sure I had exactly what I needed. When I picked my RAV4 up Mahesh and a second Sales Manager Altaf Karim were there checking on my satisfaction. Mahesh sat in the vehicle with me for some time explaining how all the safety features work. At no time did I feel rushed. Since the sale Mahesh called me a couple times checking on my satisfaction and to see if I had any questions. He also assured me that I could stop by at any time. I am a long term customer of Mayfield Toyota, I don't have problems with the dealer. But I went to get service from Mayfield Toyota for a regular routine check up for my 2011 4runner. The oil change was free and they charge me $165 for the check up. However, I mentioned to the staff that my front light is not working, so I asked them to check it. After 2 hours, they called me and said the problem is the brake, not the light. Before they go ahead, they asked me to pay $80 to take a look. So I went ahead, then after an hour they told me my car is ready. The service desk told me that everything is fixed and that the fix will last until the next check up in a few months. But after two days, I noticed that the light wasn't working. I called back the service department and asked why after only two days it wasn't work anymore. Now all of a sudden they're saying there's no guarantee it'll work. Now it's worth $500+ to fix it and I asked why they didn't asked me in the first place to fix it at that amount. The staff was rude and told me I was yelling when I wasn't. I'm very frustrated. They hung up on me! I was just asking for an explanation on how to get it fixed and working again long-term not only for two days. Now they're denying that they said it would last until next check-up. I can't be bothered to continue going back and forth paying money to get things fixed over and over again. I contacted the supervisor and left a message, they haven't called me back.
We just purchased a 2020 Toyota Tacoma at Mayfield Toyota. Very satisfied with the whole experience. Lanique was awesome the whole time, even with our two kids running around. It was a big decision for us and he was very patient while we made our decision. Worked hard to give us the best experience and the best price we could get. Looked at other dealerships and the experience didn't even come close. Highly recommend Mayfield Toyota.

I purchased my brand new Toyota 4Runner a month ago from Mayfield. Andy Lam was recommended to me, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I live 4 hours outside of Edmonton, so there were some discussions on the phone with Andy prior to coming to purchase. The numbers he gave me on the phone were the same numbers I was presented with in person. No hidden agendas, no extra fees, just an open and transparent buying experience. Andy was very down to earth, knowledgable and not at all pushy. I was considering multiple models, and he didn't automatically push for me to buy the most expensive one. Finance was very easy to deal with. Lightning quick approval and the paperwork was a breeze. Once again, the numbers in my paperwork were consistent with what I was told from the beginning. I brought my highlander there for service and let me just say, y’all need to pay Anthony way more. He’s a service advisor and he’s the kindest person I’ve met that actually cares about people. He’s not just doing his job, he’s living his passion, helping others. Never met someone like him before and I’m glad I did. The lady that checked me in for my appointment was good, but that was the end of it. A oil change and swap to winter tires. Scheduled 2 hours, got back to pick it up and they hadn't even started yet. Asked them to rush it a bit and still took another 2 hours. Covid 19 in edmonton and they had people waiting all over the place. Discussed with others waiting and they said it's always bad here but they insist you bring your purchased here vechial here. Very ???? unhappy
We traded our 2016 Toyota 4Runner to the new 2020 4RUNNER and we are very satisfied with the overall experience. ZERO STARS Without a doubt in my mind the WORST customer service I have ever experienced! Had to come back 6 times for a relatively simple warranty issue that has still not been resolved. Service foreman Dave was completely useless and the service manager Chris Keller is very frustrating to deal with. Toyota Canada should be ashamed at this poor level of service yet after talking ot them directly it seems its almost encouraged. I would recommend avoiding this location at all costs. Sure it's nice and fancy but it's almost too big and no one knows what they are doing. Reaching someone is almost impossible as their voicemail system redirects you to another dealership. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. NEVER AGAIN!
Came here to grab some parts. Quick service and got what I needed. However, this dealership happens to sell them for way more than the other dealers I go to... interesting. Parents got service done here often and they often complain about wait times. I suggest reviewing and revising your service scheduling methods.

I recently purchased a used Tundra from these guys. I started the process online from a 3rd party website and all of my dealings were through email until just after we started negotiating numbers. We did a trade-in of our existing truck and the process was seamless from the evaluation (over pictures as we live over 2 hours away) to driving the new truck away. We showed up to our appointment with Andy Lam and nothing changed from our expectations. Andy was great to deal with. During our test drive we discovered a button that wasn't working so they put it in the shop right away to get it fixed. All in all it took about 4 hours from the moment I walked into the dealer, to getting the truck fixed and when we drove our new Tundra off the lot. The staff were great to deal with, I felt looked after in every way with 0 concerns. I was already happy with the service prior to showing up in person, and my experience only got better once I got there. We had negotiated our price before I arrived, nothing changed and no surprises with the trade-in. These guys are great to deal with and I would be happy to deal with them again in the future even though there are dozens of Toyota dealers closer to me. Thanks again Andy!
I was able to sort out almost the entire purchase over email with Jason Deng while I was out of province. He had the exact model and colours I was looking for reserved for me and prepped with the add-ons and accessories I had requested waiting for me the day I moved back to Edmonton. When I was having difficulty registering and insuring the vehicle due to the switch in provinces he even had a loaner set up for me so I was able to drive around and deal with the registries and insurance companies. Joan and Tracy in finance also helped me out significantly by getting me a much lower rate than I was expecting. There was no pressure to purchase any of the extra warranties or protection packages like I’ve experienced at another dealership in the past, which I really appreciated. The ladies at the reception desk were a blast to chat to and joke around with as well and helped me out when I was trying to get paperwork printed and scanned over to the insurance company. Just an all-around positive experience.
Zero Stars! I purchased a 2018 RAV4 Hybrid. Problem: After the first year of using it, my RAV4 started having issues when the temperature drops below -20 C. This is a major problem when you live in Canada. Last year, Toyota said that the problem was with the battery and they changed it. This year, the first time that the temperature dropped, my car doesn't start again. Had to boost it three times so far in last two weeks. Why 0 stars: I brought my car to Mayfield Toyota to get my car checked since there is obviously a problem with it. They told me that I don't drive it enough. Fair enough with COVID. So I asked how much I should be driving each day since I have been driving it 30 min every day. They said they didn't know. They offered no help what so ever and proceeded to charge me $173 for diagnosis. They also suggested that I buy a trickle charger for $200ish with no guarantee that this would fix the issue. Also, this trickle charger would be in the trunk (where the battery is located) so I would have to somehow snake the wire through the door to charge it. This will be the last Toyota that I purchase. It is very clear that the only thing this company cares about is cash. What ever happened to customer service?
I had a horrible experience purchasing a used vehicle. The mechanic lied on the inspection, and the whole front end was faulty. I had to trade back for my original vehicle that was luckily still there. The salesmen and used car manager did help to rectify, but now almost 2 years later, I get regular calls from the dealership even though I have asked them to remove my number. I have even blocked their numbers, and I still get voicemails from them about service requests, how to lower my financing, and if they can interest me in another purchase. I am not interested.

Do not bring your vehicle for repairs to West Edmonton Toyota. Their customer service is terrible, the services they perform are not satisfactory, and their not willing to address customer concerns afterwards. They somehow administratively lost my car and all my personal information even though I literally made an appt in addition to making a key drop off (while filling out all the drop off forms). Even though they lost my car they proceeded to correct me 4 different times that there was no key drop off information (or any personal info whatsoever) even though it happened so I recommended that they go and check their cameras which Im sure they didnt do. We brought our car in due to clicking noises in the brakes. We thought they had fixed the brakes and so got our car back after a long ordeal as the admin team again somehow lost our car and therefore didnt have an invoice to pay. 3 weeks later the clicking noise came back and so I called them to ask what they wanted to do and they simply said this is normal for a Toyota Avalon. So from my perspective, we brought our car in for repairs which they basically lost, they did NOT fix our issue whatsoever, and are now telling us we should just accept the clicking noise because theres really nothing they can do. Im not sure about you but I wouldnt bring my most important mobile asset to a dealership that operates like this from an administrative and service perspective. I would recommend that if you have options that you go elsewhere as clearly they dont care about your business.

This is the second used vehicle we bought from Mayfield Toyota this year. Dealt with Hassan again and the experience was quite positive. We new the vehicle we want before hand as I did research prior to meeting with Hassan. After our test drive we sat down and talked numbers as we were trading in an old truck. In total took an hour (test drive to numbers) and we had a deal. picked up the vehicle 2 days later exchanged keys and gone. I've purchased many vehicles over the years some ok service some better. Mayfield was by far the best experience I've had purchasing a vehicle. Andy is fantastic super accommodating not pushy and made sure I got everything I wanted in my 4runner. We came from out of town and Andy did videos of every vehicle I was interested in. When I picked one he got me a great deal! The finance department made the transaction stress free. Myron and John were easy to deal with and answered all our questions.
These managers are clearly selling these vehicles to the wrong people. Came in to look into financing a 2022 Tundra for camping and work. After dealing with them for a week, I got a call back this morning from Mr Jim, saying they won’t sell the truck to me, and accusing me of shipping the truck out of the country. I’ve been told by so many people that these Tundras have ended up in the hands of exporters than people that are actually local and using it as personal use. So these managers clearly don’t know who their selling too.
Service here is a complete scam. Every 8,000km I'm told to change the cabin air filter for city driving while my friend who goes to Sherwood park Toyota didn't have to change it until 42,000 km. I was told my tire was free (under warranty package) and then came back to get it and was given over $300 bill. That tire was as free as the"free" oil changes for the life of the vehicle. They are so free that there cheapest package $70 some odd dollars doesn't include them. While ford who isn't great used to charge $85 including oil change in their service (may have change now). So honestly not free don't be fooled by the "free " bs in this service department.they have don'e other things but this is most recent issues that are getting worse everytime I came in.
My husband and I recently bought a new 2019 Toyota Corolla from Mayfield Toyota. What a great experience thanks to Andy Lam our Salesman, David Friesen the General Manager and Altaf Karim the Financial Services Manager. We were apprehensive going into the dealerships as everyone knows the reputations of Sales people in general. However, this proves that they are not all the same. I was probably harder on them than most people would be, but in the end, through some negotiations, found my husband and I exactly what we wanted and a price we could live with. They both worked hard to find the exact car we wanted. They were both friendly and very helpful. After our purchase Andy took the time to go over the car with us to ensure that we were comfortable with all the new technologies that we have never had in a car. We have always owned very basic cars with roll up windows, no air conditioning etc...now all the cars come standard with a lot of technologies that can be overwhelming. I recently purchased a Sienna hybrid at Mayfield. Varan helped with my purchase and was amazing to work with. No pressure, extremely knowledgeable, friendly and very easy to get a hold of. He was very accommodating. Lesley in financing was on top of everything and very well prepared. It was a breeze going through financing with her. As for the Sienna. It my first toyota and my first hybrid. My favorite vehicle I've owned. Handles so well and the fuel economy is unbelievable. I calculated 6.7 on my first fill up and 6.4L/100 on my second. Couldn't be happier.
Of the whole time I have purchased a vehicle for myself, family or friends in the past, I never thought it would be this hassle free as my experience has been with Toyota Mayfield. I am not sure if they are all consistent but Jason Deng was amazing. It was stress free and almost everything was completed online. This dealer is the best dealer I have ever dealt with and Jason is the reason why I am giving 5 stars to this dealership. I will definitely recommend them to people I know that would be looking to purchase a vehicle.

I think Nissan gave me PTSD after purchasing my first vehicle in 2019. I got hosed in finance, lied to about maintenance packages, had sunglasses stolen from trade in, was stranded by a loaner car when mine went in for maintenance and came back still not fixed, tires wore out at 17k...nothing but problems. I got a lemon as far as I am concerned and no help from the dealership to rectify things. I decided enough was enough and traded in my Qashqai for a Toyota Rav4 2021. The experience was by far better, Mahesh was an awesome salesperson, Celia talked me through all of the financing and answered all of my questions with patience and kindness. I was even offered a gas top up for having to come back to pick up the second set of keys. Night and day difference, so far highly recommend Toyota's service and staff. I hope things continue this way!

I returned to Edmonton from recently finishing my studies in the States. I figured it would be a good time to purchase a new vehicle more suitable for Alberta winter condition to replace my old vehicle. I made my rounds around various Toyota dealerships in Edmonton, but I decided to purchase my vehicle here at Mayfield Toyota. One of the reasons for my decision was my encounter with the e-Commerce Manager, Mr. Andy Lam. He was polite and informative regarding my requests and questions. I appreciated his knowledge about the vehicle of my interest (2020 Rav4 XLE AWD). From the beginning, I was clear about my choice of vehicle model and package. Mr. Lam respected my choice by explaining the details of only that specific model I had inquired. Mr. Lam respected my time (his potential client) through concise, yet informative communication without trying to convince me to upgrade to a higher tier model/package. Mr. Lam personally highlighted the key sections of the vehicle manual with sticky notes, and he spent the time reviewing all hardware and software features of my new vehicle with me prior to sending me off. It was a very pleasant professional interaction. He promptly connected me to his colleague at the finance department, Ms. Tracy Hladunewich, for smooth business experience. Ms. Hladunewich was very helpful and personable while we finished all of the paperwork required for a new vehicle purchase. Thank you for all your help assisting me with my new purchase, and making it a pleasant experience.

Had very bad experiences with this dealership in terms of the services. This is the 3-4th time. I am not one that writes bad reviews. but honestly I feel like the public needs to know. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP in terms of services. Read the fine print carefully as they like to pad on more services than necessary. I went their for my complimentary oil change as I have oil changes for life and then was told that I needed all these extra services every time. I was at another Toyota dealership a week ago as it was closer to home to have a winter tire change and they did a complimentary inspection and found nothing was wrong with my vehicle. As soon I bring my vehicle to Mayfield, its like seriously obvious that they are trying to add additional unnecessary work to make up for the so called "free oil change for life". I will be reporting this to AMVIC as I feel there is dishonesty and misleading to consumers especially on services. Maintain your "free oil change" for life but pay for unnecessary services. I recommend people stay clear of this dealership for services. When I brought this up to management, it was even worse. The managers are worse than the services techs. I recommend the managers take courses on better customer relations and better conflict resolution as they are currently incompetent in that department.
