I don’t even how to begin how awesome my experience is with this rental location. They were very accommodating, helpful and friendly. They made our trip very memorable. Highly recommended. Word of advice, when asked if you need insurance… get it. We were a little adventurous and decided to drive out to Vancouver and on route we saw a car badly damaged from hitting a deer, and cars that went off the highway into ditches. In short, coming from Toronto… the drive to BC, is not a walk in the park because of the terrain and sudden change of weather (rain, hail and snow all in an hour).

The operator did not put our information correctly. First he got our name wrong, we didnt mind so we gave him our order number. But then he wrote down a different destination and got my age wrong. So overall it was his fault. He didn't apologize and he seems very unwelcoming. You might consider getting a new headset. I do not recommend this place at all.

I found the staff here to be incredibly helpful and accommodating. Everyone was very friendly and patient with me as it was a rather stressful time for me (my car, cell phone and wallet had been stolen). They worked with me and helped me even though I had no credit card or traditional ID at the time. They also helped me navigate what I needed from my insurance company and were able pair me with a car that that met my needs perfectly, and all in short notice! The price was affordable, there were no secret hidden fees in the fine print, and they were understanding and flexible when I needed to extend my reservation. I recommend going to these guys first before calling any where else!

This company charged for damages that occurred after the vehicle was returned and rented out again. They contacted us two weeks after the car had been cleared and inspected upon arrival. So how could we have caused the damaged up to 2 weeks after the vehicle was returned? Poor customer service and rude people. This place is not a place to go for a rental at all. Please steer clear and go elsewhere.

Hands off the best car rental I’ve encountered in all my international travels. My boyfriend and I decided last moment to rent a vehicle and went to a rental location and because the credit card was under my boyfriends name and not under my name (the reservation was under my name and I was going to be the primary driver) we were refused the rental. We called this location and they were ok with it. The front desk worker was kind enough to wait for us an additional 20 minutes that it took us to get there past they’re open hours and gave us an amazing deal for renting a vehicle for 4 days. Would highly recommend this place their customer service is amazing and prices are amazing!

You get what you pay for, thought I was getting a deal and turns out it ended up costing me more in the end. The vehicle had a big dent in the door, the passenger side door had had air coming in and I was told someone tried to break in on that side. I dropped the car off and was told I could have a ride and when it came time I had to get an Uber to take me to my destination.

Positives: Good value for rental... Negatives: Unorganized. First they didn't have my booking and they started making excuses that because it was done online. Then they found the booking on their Desk. Secondly, when I returned my vehicle they had forgotten that I paid online so they charged me again but then they found out so voided me. Overall just need some proper organization amongst the staff. Other than that pretty smooth.

I work out of town and had made a hard choice to sell my" forever sitting" suv and start renting while home in the city. I deal with these fellas all the time, hugely competitive rates and good inventory. I highly recommend Practicar.

Horrible experience! I was in a hit and run in Edmonton while driving the rental car. Not only did I have to drive the same car that I was in a accident in for a week, but I was also charged $1,000 for loss of use of the vehicle that was not in the contract. For 2 weeks I paid $436 which was suppose to be $200, but an added $1,036 for loss of use. Never go this car rental company they are a bunch of sharks.

Great experience, had my truck in the shop recently and rented from here for a couple of weeks. Very friendly staff and clean cars. Would use them again.

I was impressed with them having a vehicle to rent for me before the long weekend when nobody else did but the car had 100 000 kms on it and it reeked like smoke. I wasn't impressed when I tried to ask about the charges on my credit card and got a really rude response from them. Apparently they don't have a computer there to look up people's reservations, it's all done on paper like in the 70's. I asked about my bill and didn't have all the info in front of me and the guy working there wasn't helpful.He was so rude and made it seems like it was my fault that I asked about my bill and I thought they could look up a persons info and reservations on a computer which is something too advanced for them. I just wanted to see a printed email of my bill but emails are something they don't do because they don't do computers. He somehow found my order and then went through It for me and it made sense but I then like them wrote it down in my note tote like they do for reservations. I didn't appreciate his attitude and I won't be back there. He was the most demeaning human in the way he talked to me. I don't recommend anyone take the risk in being treated that way to drive a car that reeked like smoke.

Extremely rude and unprofessional. The owner, Randy, kept telling us that what we were looking for "was too expensive," as if he knew our financial situation. He kept brining this up between our questions, getting ruder and ruder each time. As a young person of colour, this does not sit right with me at all. I have never had a customer service representative speak to me like this, let alone a business owner. Absolutely disgusted with our experience.

I called the head office (I think its in Calgary) by accident and the fellow who answered was great and referred me directly to the owner of the Edmonton location who lined us up with everything we needed, great customer service from both Practicar personnel! Great to see a team working together to meet customers needs. I would be highly recommend!

Great place to rent a car and prices are very reasonable. The guys that work there friendly and happy to answer any questions. Car was in great condition and the pick and return process is super easy. Good location too very close to Oliver Square. Definitely recommend Practicar if you’re looking at renting a car in Edmonton.

I am giving 5 stars only because of Donna. She was friendly, bubbly, and helpful. I rented a car for two days and paid a $750 deposit because I had a temporary driver’s license and a debit card. A month later, after incurring no tickets, my deposit was refunded.

Thanks Practicar for helping us get out of a pickle. The wife and I booked with another rental car agency for our travels to the Rockies in Sept 2017 from NZ, however they would not accept our travel card for our deposit and refused our rental on the basis we did not have a credit card (most Kiwis do not). Practicar worked through our case with us and gracefully gave us a discount + accepted a cash deposit for our rental. I cannot thank them enough, our experience was awesome. They didn't even have a car prepared and went out of there way to sort something out. Good genuine people with good prices. Thank you :)

The worst rental company I've ever dealt with , what they do ! They give you the car which already has a hit somewhere underneath and they never mention that , once you finish ur trip and u return the car for them , they call u and tell u that u hit the car and u r responsible for that to make u pay them . They sucks! The minivan I got has nearly 200,000KM on it. After driving for an hour, the engine light was on. Even though nothing happened, it was still annoying. And also, sometimes, the windshield wiper got stuck in the middle of the windshield, blocking my sight, which was really dangerous because I was on the high way. I got a ticket, and they charged me an extra $50 for the ticket, even though they paid the ticket using my credit card. WORST experience ever!!!

Was worried the whole 9 hour drive to B.C wondering if the vehicle would even make it, was worried if it would make it back, car didn't start in southern B.C and was told to just boost it. Was worried the whole ride back, then get back and get charged a bunch about $90 extra for random things here and there ... Worst company I've dealt with to be honest.. having to be worried about transportation while on vacation was unsettling and should not happen when paying for a rental service.
