Everything about the van was very well customized, it drove nicely, and the bed was comfortable with enough space for our luggage (one big rolling hard shell case, one small rolling soft shell case, and two back packs). The kitchenette and appliances were useful, the bedding was good and clean, but the camp chairs were small and took a measure of good sitting balance to use. Jennifer was very friendly and provided very good customer service. The only negative with the bed is anyone over 5'10" tall will be uncomfortable due to limited length of bed, but for us (5'10" and 5'7") it was just right. Also the pick up and drop off location is in a industrial complex and is a bit difficult to find, for us and the two different cab drivers who picked us up and dropped us off. I hope they change this to a more well known spot such as a bus terminal, subway or train station, or even the airport as these would be better and more well known pick up and drop off locations for their customers. This is the only reason why I am giving them a 4/5 stars, everything else was great.

BEST VAN ROAD TRIP EVER THRU 4 EXQUISITE CANADIAN NATIONAL PARKS. The Van's rear kitchen was a hit everywhere, and so was the pop up tent. Very comfy. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!

Excellent and efficient service, from the start to the end! Our questions were well-answered on the phone before we booked. The Campervan was clean and well equipped; we were very pleased. The compacted refrigerator is surprisingly big and very sufficient! The sleeping area is very comfortable even for my 6'2" partner. The driving is easy and cost of gaz is excellent since it is a regular van. I strongly recommend this company! The only a bit disadvantage is that the location for pick-up is in Chestermere, 25 min. east from downtown Calgary (away from the Rockies).

We really enjoyed our 10 day roadtrip through the mountains. Jenn welcomed us with a big smile and even offered us to cancel the canoe due to bad weather forecast. We really appreciated this. This campervan is really great. We had a few rainshowers and we were really happy we could hide/sleep in the van. The bed was made in about 5min. And I could even stretch myself (185cm) while sleeping. We will book it again for another roadtrip in a few years. We are even considering about making our own campervan ????.

I had a wonderful trip down through Montana. Yellowstone Park was the highlight -- looking particularly spectacular with the trees in fall colors. The campervan was a perfect way to travel -- easy to drive and manage even in town. Much easier than an RV. Jenn was very helpful, particularly with my setting out being delayed by a day as a result of a snow storm.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. Jenn and Kris were over-the-top responsive, helpful, accommodating and amazing. They seem to have thought of everything when equipping this van. From mosquito nets for the windows to the full camp kitchen in the back (complete with pots, dishes, and utensils) - they made sure to include everything we would need. We were able to not have to rely on public transportation between parks, as well as save on over-priced lodging throughout the week. If you're planning a trip to western Canada - AND YOU SHOULD - you should definitely give these guys a call. They made an amazing trip even better, and that's saying A LOT!!!

Dealing with the small team at North Campervans was incredibly easy and informative. The ease at which they assist you and set you up is second to none! While the use of the tent is very basic, they made sure you were fully comfortable to manage this on your own. I would have given them 5 stars but ran into some difficulty installing causing me a delay of a day and some miscommunications on booking a second camper...no real fault at all - would I recommend North Campervans to anyone? YES! Without question!

We've rented a campervan with North Campervans for 9 days in august 2020. We were so impressed by the quality of the customer service and by the kindness of Jenn and Kris. Anyone who want to rent a campervan in Alberta should considered them. I've never reviewed anything in my life, but they really deserved it. They really deserve 5 stars.

We rented the "Whatever You Want it to be" van and our stay was amazing. The van is perfectly equipped to cook properly while camping, there is plenty of space to store our stuff inside! The rooftop was really the "highlight" of our vacation. Very easy to use (you can open and close the tent in 1 minute ) lots of space, very comfortable! It rained a lot during our stay so we spent some evenings in it. It always stayed dry inside. The blanket provided in the van are perfect but we had taken some extra sleeping bags for the cooler nights. But honestly the comforters can be enough for nights around 10°. Jennifer is a lovely person, available and full of good advice for your vacations. We recommend this rental to 200% and it made our trip magical and worry free. Thank you so much Jennifer! LOVE LOVE LOVE! We took our one year old for her first camping trip with North Campervans. To get to the point, we shared our campsite for the weekend with three GRIZZLY BEARS! And we sleep like babies. It was such a relief to just be off the ground with them roaming around. Not to mention they had full set up for us. All we needed were clothes and food! We got home and booked our next trip immediatly. Not to mention Jen and Chris are so great.

Took a week tour of Banff with the campervans, and enjoyed every minute of it. Not quite roughing it, but it isn't flushing money down the drain via overpriced hotels either. Easy to travel anywhere in the national park cluster (Yoho, Banff, Jasper, etc) They are fairly new vans, well maintained. There is a nice kitchenette in the back with a charging station for all your charging needs. The bed is quite roomy for a minivan. Any campground will work with it (outside of the backcountry hiker ones). Customer service is great, very responsive and genuinely cared about our well being. Highly recommend!

We rented from North Campervans on four occasions this summer (2020) and, on each occasion, we found the vehicles and service to be outstanding. Each time, we rented the “Whatever You Want it to be” van with no camping equipment other than a rooftop tent. The service from Jenn and Kris was first rate. We booked online through their website, and they would respond quickly with a confirmation. The online booking system was straight forward, and the confirmation that was emailed to us contained all of the information we needed to ensure that the reservation was correct. Their bookings allow some flexibility, with several options for both insurance and mileage. Each time we picked up or dropped off our vehicle, Kris and Jenn were always ready for us. This is a highly organized and conscientious couple, who run their business extremely efficiently and well. The two Dodge Caravans that we were assigned were in excellent condition, impeccably clean, and had low mileage (the second vehicle had less than 2000km). The iKamper Skycamp rooftop tents were also like new, wonderfully comfortable, and easy to put up and take down. The skylights in the tents were fabulous. We could lie in bed and admire the blanket of stars overhead. We experienced both strong winds and heavy rain, but the tents kept us warm and dry. Kris and Jenn are a lovely young couple, who are a delight to deal with. They wore masks and sanitized their hands each time before greeting us and were careful not to touch the vehicle after handing it over to us. In this time of Covid-19, we felt perfectly safe both meeting with Kris and Jenn and renting their equipment. We have absolutely no reservation in recommending North Campervans. We look forward to renting from them again in the future. Thank you Kris and Jenn for the part you played in ensuring that we enjoyed four wonderful camping trips. We are most grateful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a North Camper van! The bed is roomy (even with two full-grown adults) and the mattress is very comfortable - it felt like being at home rather than in a van. The van is also equipped with a lot of neat touches that show a lot of thought has gone into creating a great camping experience. This included mosquito nets for the windows so that we could let in cool breezes at night; a small fan running on battery power that helped with air movement; and some small flashlights in convenient spots. We hope to use a North camper van for a longer trip in the future!

My boyfriend and I went on our first trip to Alberta and took a gamble with renting a van when we got down there and all of our worries were dashed away as soon as we met Jen and Kris! Both of them are absolutely wonderful to deal with and they hooked us up with EVERYTHING that we needed!! The camper van was clean and tidy and had everything that we needed for our trip. We got the option to have the canoe on the top which is an awesome deal and we were able to pop it in where we wanted, which saves you huge $$ in rental costs elsewhere. All in all it was an amazing experience and North Campervans was 100% the best choice. Thank you so much for making our trip so memorable and easy!

I highly recommend North Campervans to anyone considering camping. The cars are excellent, fuel efficient and equipped with everything you need. There is plenty of space for storage during the day and at night. The mattress is comfortable, the van was extremely clean and reliable. In addition, Jenn and Kris are fantastic. They are very responsive to any questions and are helpful if any problems arise. We are both from out of the province and don't have any camping experience so we were a bit nervous about renting but North Campervans made us feel right at home. Everything was easy to figure out! Don't hesitate, this is a great option for anyone looking to rent!

We rent a campervan for our 3 weeks road trips in Alberta & BC last September. I can say that renting a van with the North Campervans was a great choice and one of the reasons why we enjoyed so much our vacations. We were 3 sleeping in the vans including my little 2 years old girls and we have been sleeping like ''babies'' the 3 of us. The van was also equipped with the appropriate equipments for camping, including a nice little fridge which look small at first sight but can fill up to about 4 days of food and we were cooking everyday & everywhere! Also, Jenn was very helpfull and answered quickly all of my questions so I knew I would be in good hand if anything happened (I had a lot of questions, thanks again Jenn!). I highly recommand renting a van with the North Campervans!!!

This has got to be the best campervan company ever! Their customer service definitely beats any other big name companies out there. Jennifer is delightful to work with. She was quick to respond to emails and answered all of my questions. She was very helpful in assisting me plan my road trip to Banff and Jasper National Parks. Their campervan has a kitchenette set-up in the trunk equipped with a fridge, 2 stove burners, a sink, cookware and tableware which came in handy when you're out venturing the beauty of nature. You can park and set up to eat anytime! I also appreciated that their campervan had many outlets to charge your phone and other electronic devices. I can't say anything bad about this company because even when something did go wrong (which was very minute), Jennifer was responsive to rectify the problem. North Campervans is sincere and gives great quality service. Give them a try when you're out in Calgary and you'll for sure have an awesome, stress-free experience on your next holiday!

I hired a north campervan for 5 days to go and see Banff and Jasper National Parks. What an experience! The AMAZING scenery aside, the van was so well equipped with bedding, chairs and a little kitchen at the back, it made camping that little bit easier and more luxurious than traditional camping. The van also didn’t chug through fuel like an RV, so I was able to cover over 900k with just one and half tanks of petrol. I was really impressed with Jenn, and her communication was excellent. I felt they offered a much more reasonable price for hire of the van than competitors and I was not disappointed. Jenn also gave me a very helpful run down of how to use the van before setting off, which once I was on my own, was invaluable. All in all, the vans are great, very sleek and stylish. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again or recommend to friends.

The kitchen was compact, yet had everything we needed, we were able to set up the bed in seconds and the van had ample storage. Any time we had a question or concern while on the road, Jenn or Kris responded with a solution within 45 minutes. You can tell that they both put their heart and soul into this. Really good overall experience, small business, good service and pretty friendly owner! I would recommend. We slept 8 Nights (2 adults and a baby) in the van, and it was just perfect. The small kitchen is more than enough and the fridge is quite big. When I return I'll certainly rent a van with them again. Give it a try.

Absolutely fantastic van and excellent customer service. The van had everything we could need, a great little kitchen area, camping chairs, a very comfortable bed. We couldn't have asked for more. It looked after us well for three amazing weeks of honeymoon travelling from Vancouver to Calgary. Great size as it fits in tent and RV campsite spots so gives a lot more choice and flexibility. Really reliable, comfortable, and easy to drive. Jenn and Kris were extremely friendly, always available to help and answered our queries incredibly quickly. I would recommend this company to anyone.
