I only gave this company 1 star as 0 stars was not an option. Picture this...a month or so prior you book a 12 person van for your wedding in Canmore. 24hrs prior to your wedding (so a pretty stressful time especially with covid) Maxx calls you and says if you don't provide your OWN insurance coverage then your reservation will be cancelled.. and that they do not provide coverage on that type of van?! He also insisted he tried to contact us however there was not one phone call OR email (which they had both on file) recieved from Maxx since the booking was made. We contact our insurance company who is confused by the request stating that should be provided through the rental company and that they unfortunately cannot insure us on a van of that size. We quickly realize that chances are they do not actually even have this van available and are using the insurance excuse to get out of looking like it was their error, putting the blame on us. We managed last minute to book with driving force who were great, they also confirmed that the insurance should be provided by the company. Do yourself a favour, save the stress and don't give this company your business.

I rented a 12 seater van, there rates are best in canada, exceptional service, vehicle is brand new and the best part they even provide pick up and drop off from airport. I rented a 12 passenger van from them 2 days ago which is reallh hard to find during this time of the year. I got picked up from the airport on time and was dropped on time. The service was up to mark and the vehicle was very smooth to drive.

very very rude customer service. called them this morning in order to book a reservation for this weekend and wasn't informed on the site that the minimum amount of days we could have the car must be 3 days so once we set a reservation they called back and we spoke to a representative who was very rude, and blunt. I wouldn't recommend using this car service to anyone considering customer service is very poor.

I would probably rate this 0 stars if I had the option. 1. Changed the pricing of our vehicle when we picked up the rental. 2. We stated we would provide our own car insurance (which between our credit card and private insurance we have AMPLE), but then stated when we got there we had to have it in writing- no prior notice. 3. Very inconsistent and rude during our rental procedure. Would recommend ANY WHERE ELSE to rent from- would even pay more money to not have to go through such a headache.

We rented a car a large van from Max rental car rental, and we had a very good experience the van was clean, The customer service was great the people that we worked with were very friendly. Car pick up was really easy and dropping off the vehicle was very easy no complications. When we got to the airport I forgot my hat in their car and they were willing to drive back to the airport drop it off at no cost there was no hassle I would definitely recommend this car rental company!

Please go somewhere else! Do not be fooled by these 5-star reviews - the best thing they have going is the free Cream Soda in the lobby fridge. This agency does not allow the customer to speak and does not even adhere to their written policies! We were deceptively cornered into purchasing the Rental Company's insurance even though their policy said our own credit card insurance would be sufficient. We were hassled at every corner when picking up and returning the vehicle, and as someone who travels weekly for work, I've never experienced as unprofessional of an agency as this one. I'm honestly surprised the van we rented was in good condition and the wheels didn't fall off.

Great vehicle. Good condition and perfect driving on fairly new vehicle. Also Maxx car rental provides great support for picking and dropping from airport. We really enjoyed Ford transit that we rented; we were 8 people with luggage requirements; Maxx passenger van was the best option. Only one caution is to not underestimate mileages.
