Had the distinct pleasure of dealing with Kevin Jeffery, manager of this Hertz location in Banff. Mr. Jeffery was courteous and professional. My husband and I would definitely recommend using this location to rent a vehicle.

I’m sorry I forgot the name of the young man behind the counter, but he went far beyond the call of duty with us today, even allowing me to borrow his personal phone cable so I could use Android Auto on my 1 day excursion. However much you are paying him, it’s not enough!

Not sure if he gave us the correct card of who he is: Michael Zinkhan Branch Manager We do have a picture of him also. If you would like to reach out to my sister in law also please let me know. She and I along with other American Family Agents were stunned with his professionalism and his treatment to his clients. He was talking to other clients that were walking in complaining about us. We were in Banff Canada to celebrate our Top Agents achievements. We reserved the car ahead of time. We wanted to extend our car for a few more days. The customer service representative was losing his patients with us. He went ahead and closed us out for the one day and stated we were taking too long. Very rude. We got back in line. We asked for him to extend our rental and we would return it Friday morning. We went back around 10 am asking for a receipt to make sure all was good. I walked in and he was in a personal call. He hung up as soon as we walked in. I asked him for a copy. He said it is not ready and to come back in 45 minutes. I told him I did not have 45 minutes as our bus was ready to leave for the airport. He said we were late and it was going to be an extra charge. My sister in law and I both had confirmed the return date. I just can’t begin to express his attitude. Not only I but my sister in law and several American Family Agents agreed. They all stated. That guy is a "piece of work". He said. Well it is not ready. I told him I did not want to be surprised and wanted to know our final bill. I then told him i was going to call corporate and I would wait in the office. I called customer service but they could not help me till they would close out our ticket. I stayed there until customer service told me just to email corporate and they would review the case. I told the customer service representative that I do not think Hertz would want to be represented by such an Employee. This is very bad with Hertz reputation. I also informed Banff Marriott as they do refer a lot of their client to Hertz as they are located on the same property. The apologized and stated they will inform management and this is a reflection for them also

The man with Gray hair is so mean and rude. He totally ruin our trip! We went to counter for reservation few weeks ago before our trip, and he told us a price with insurance. And we go to pick our car today, he gave us a higher price. We felt confused then we ask him. He was so rude told us "we dont have any car left, you can cancel or you could walk. And you and your friend keep coming to ask me the same question ( the fact is that we just went there one time to make sire we have had a reservation). And he didn't answer us any question at the end. We felt awful, we like Hertz before but we felt extremely disappointed about hertz!

Do not chose hertz Banff. The guy on the desk is abusive and nasty, alot of people I know in town have dealt with this person including a friend of mine who's card he charged 1 month later for damage but when asked couldn't prove it. She left crying because he shouted at her and threatened to call the police on her when she asked for proof, I didn't really believe how horrible he was until I myself tried renting from them. I rang up asking for info and he told me not to bother with dumb questions and to just rent the damn car, I did not go in for the car. There's alot of car rental companies in Banff, go for another.

Professional, clean and friendly service.is what you can expect from Hertz Banff. I have rented tons of vehicles over the years for both business and leisure and Hertz Banff is hands down the best place to rent from. I know they have received negative reviews in the past, but that's where those reviews belong. With new management over the last couple of years this location, consistently knocks it out of the park with their service to their customers. Thank you Hertz Banff! You are all amazing at what you do!

The worst service in my entire life. Cannot believe how rude customer service is. When we asked a question about the car he suddenly started to yell, got all red and started to throw pens. When i asked about his manager and he answered “I am the company”. I was in total shock that actually can happen. I don’t recommend this company.

We made a reservation the night before for a car. We got two busses and got to the Hertz dealership to be told the car had never arrived. No call, no email. Solid customer service.

Review the the blond hair guy, with small beard and glasses. This guy is a joke. There was 2 women before me and they left the agency by saying "we will find help elsewhere" I was like "may be the guy just can't help you and it's not his bad" Then my turn, everything was nice, until I went to the car. I backed to him and just ask him if he can mark the scratches on the top of the trunk because I will return the car in an other agency and don't want to be charged for this. He was like "it's rock chips" and I just said no, it does not look like rock chips, it's some scratches. Then i got a "no it's rock chips. I inspected the car myself and it's rock chips" Me : yes on the bottom, it is but on the top it's not, mind to note it? Because you inspected the car but not the other agency Him: no it's rock chips and we (all hertz agents) work with same method. I inspected the car myself and it's rock chips And he put 2 marks on the vehicle inspection paper. That's actually the point of doing an inspection dude. It has to be done by the seller and the customer! That's the definition. I can't trust you like you can't trust me. That's how the business is done. If not why inspect the car or take insurance. You are just rude and should not work in customer service. I am and I am always nice to customer event if they are wrong. And in this case, YOU were wrong. Be a man and assume it. Plus, hours are wrong. It says 08h to 16h but we arrived at 11:38 and there was a sign saying :"back at 12:30" means that he actually steals 1h from his employers.

(Translated) I had rented the car from Hertz at Calgary airport going in the direction of Banff, driving I realized that it had the convergence to be adjusted, once in Banff we went to the Hertz office to ask if they could fix it or replace it. The gentleman with red / gray hair, beard and glasses was really rude and unfair because he made us come back the next day saying he would give us another car but the next morning he denied everything and pretended not to understand the our English and not to remember. Very obnoxious and arrogant person, better change jobs. In the end we had to go at our own expense to fix the car. Luckily the other Canadians I met were all great people (Original) Avevo noleggiato l'auto alla Hertz dell'aeroporto di Calgary andando in direzione Banff, guidando mi sono accorto che aveva la convergenza da regolare, giunti a Banff ci siamo recati all'ufficio Hertz per chiedere se potevano sistemarla o sostituirla. Il signore con i capelli rossi/grigi la barba e gli occhiali è stato davvero scortese e scorretto perchè ci ha fatto tornare il giorno dopo dicendo che ci avrebbe dato un'altra auto ma la mattina seguente ha negato tutto e faceva finta di non capire il nostro inglese e di non ricordare. Persona molto antipatica e arrogante, meglio che cambi lavoro. Alla fine siamo dovuti andare a nostre spese a sistemare l'auto. Per fortuna gli altri canadesi incontrati erano tutte persone fantastiche

The car and service was great. But a 300% mark up on fuel if you don't bring it back with a full tank is a joke. You have the option to purchase a tank but we weren't driving very far. It's just a great con to make you buy unneeded fuel by a greedy corporation.

Extremely rude guy at the counter. I wanted to rent a vehicle for 3 weeks, and tried to get a recommendation for which vehicle to get, which he didn’t even attempt to - he just said he was “busy doing work” (i was the only customer in sight). Overall, a shameful spot on the Canadian reputation on being very polite and friendly.

*UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT* honestly I have the worst issues renting cars due to my age I called and they got me a car same day. I was vague on what I told them I wanted but they picked the perfect vehicle for me. Because I work in Banff they gave me a wicked discount and the manager stayed late to help me. They helped me trouble shoot my credit card, ensured that I fueled the car before returning it making sure that I knew what they charge for gas. Was the easiest rental I have ever done. Would recommend and will be returning.
