Griffiths Ford is what every buyer hopes to find when looking for before, during, and after a vehicle purchase. I have been dealing with Griffiths Ford now for almost 20 years and both my kids have grown up coming to the dealership, and are now customers on their own. We have purchased over 20 vehicles as a family from Ralph at Griffiths Ford and are currently working on another Super Duty purchase right now. All the staff at Griffiths are welcoming and willing to help in any way. We will never buy a vehicle anywhere else.

I had read great things about the new Ford Edge (2015) and knew that it was the perfect SUV for my lifestyle etc. I knew exactly what I wanted and thanks to the web I also had a good idea what it would cost me. I considered a few Ford dealerships, and went with Griffiths Ford. While they understood that price was important, they were also just as committed to making sure it was a great customer experience. No matter what, I was buying the Edge, it really came down to who I felt could deliver the best customer service and needless to say they were excellent to deal with. That is why they got my business. Also, I live in BC and after a great purchasing experience where I order exactly what I wanted, they were happy to deliver the car to me. Great store and a phenomenal SUV to own.

Just traveling through to Alaska and the truck had a warning light on. They got us in within a half hour, the tech checked things out, explaining everything he was doing and seeing. Reset the system and we were on our way. If you don't stop here you are missing out. Great people and service.

We booked an appointment to have a repair made to our passenger side window of our Ford Escape. Unfortunately they did not have the part in stock at the the time of our service (we were without our vehicle for several hours). However, once the part was in stock the service manager Steven, along with staff members Trudy and Alex went above and beyond to ensure this problem was fixed, and without any further inconvenience to us. Before I go there for oil change for my Toyota Tundra I called and asked for a rate. They said around CAD 80. I dropped my truck and when I came back to pick it up they charged me CAD 150 where the Toyota dealership in Calgary always charged me CAD 79. They said because they used Synthetic oil for that. Toyota dealers use synthetic too. Not sure what was wrong with that. At least I expect they ask more questions about the engine, make and model to give me a close number not double.

Wife and I are traveling thru Canada from Central Texas, in our F350, pulling a 15k lb 5th Wheel. The dash sensor come up indicating it was time to check the Coolant Additive. Was in Golden, BC and took it to Kicking Horse Ford for the test...KH was great and fit me in; results were that Primary Coolant failed, Secondary was fine. KH Ford couldn’t squeeze me in for the approx. four hours it takes to flush.....replace coolant. I called Griffiths in Hinton, our next scheduled stop on our trip, Trudy was very flexible in setting an appointment for the work. Day before my appointment I realized my truck was almost due for the regular oil, filter change and wanted to have my truck brakes checked. I stopped by the Service Desk and Trudy, once again, was able to add these items in to my appointment...Brakes are automatically checked during a service call. Dropped my truck off for appointment, and Miles, their shuttle service driver, dropped me off at McD’s for a couple hours while I waited. I called Trudy and she sent Miles back for me about 15 min prior to completion. Trudy thoroughly reviewed my trucks service, and got me out in under the estimated four hours. I went back on the following Monday with a question and Russ the Parts Manager along with Trudy, helped me once again. If in this area and you need service, have questions regarding your vehicle, I strongly recommend Griffiths in Hinton. Thank you to Trudy, Russ and Miles. I am very selective on who I let service my tow vehicle. You proved to me your team is Excellent and deserving of that trust. Griffiths is lucky to have you three.
A poor excuse for a Ford Dealership. I've been there 3 times and all 3 times I've received bad service. First time I was looking to buy a brand new vehicle and the sales rep at first seemed all for it until I left then I never heard from him again about what I would get for my trade in or options I had maybe even help me with another vehicle, second time I went for an oil change, parked my truck at the service oil change lane the mechanic said no problem talk to the ladies at the front desk, went over and tried to explain to them how I needed an oil change but they couldn't grasp the concept then once they did told me they had no time, went over to OKTire and got it in and out within the hour, I just left for the third time looking to get a Tire Monitor Fault fixed on my brand new 2018 that I bought from Waterloo Ford in Edmonton, the only person to help me was the kid they called from the back named Brandon. He's the only reason I'm giving them any stars. After realizing the sensors we're faulty we decided to talk to the sales manager, he didn't even leave his office, Brandon came back outside and told me the sensors change with the years the only person to give me an answer or help me in anyway. I'm am fed up with this dealership.

Appointment on November 26, 2021 We have recently purchased a 2021 Edge from Griffin Ford Hinton and had an amazing experience in Sales Department from Ralph. For that reason, we decided to keep our business in this dealership and needed additional parts for our SUV. We order 4 different items from the Part department and ask them to book an appointment when all parts were in as we live far away from Hinton so we can do it all in one appointment. They phone us on Monday November 22 to confirm that the parts we order have arrived, after triple checking with the Parts Department that all parts were in, we went ahead and book an appointment for the Friday November 26, 2021. On the appointment day, we left our Edge so they would install 3 parts (molded splash guards front and rear, Hood Deflector, and a cargo area protector) At the end of the service Mr. Marco Pagnotta from the Service Department told us that all parts weren’t installed because: Hood Protector was not found Parts Manager admitted he check the wrong par.t A bumper protector was installed. This was not order by us. It was in our invoice, it got takeout after we ask about it We were very upset as we had triple check with the Parts Department to make sure all parts were in before we went for our appointment. When we told Mr. Pagnotta, how difficult is for us to visit Ford Hinton because we live far away. He answered us “is not my problem guys that you live so far” We are Ford customers for many years, we are very disappointed for the service we received that day and how we were spoken by Mr. Pagnotta that day. We deserved an apology, which no one offer for all the issues.

Just got a pile of work done with the Griffiths Ford Service Dept. Figure most folks are not the happiest when getting big repair bills, so thus my review. I was! I went in knowing my special edition F350 hadnt seen the inside of a shop for 12 years, expected the hefty bill. Corine at the service desk gave me great communication and she was awesome to deal with. Didnt meet the tech but got the work done and no big surprises....except - two parts of the work I had gotten quoted out at another garage, both jobs were thousands and listed extensive work that was inflated. Griffiths Ford crew actually fixed what was wrong, those two parts hundreds not thousands and relatively minor fix. So...honest. I was very pleased...expensive but was prepared for it. Corine was a gem, give her a raise, not sure how a person could get grumpy with her. Did a veteran discount, and the little things that made it a pleasant experience. Recommend this dealer service over other garages for your Ford, in the end better value. Thanks!

Poor communication from Marco. We had arranged a major repair that was to take all day. Had it booked in at 8 and took the day off work to drove in from out of town to get it done. Once I was there they came out to tell me what the issue was and a quote to repair it. I had already had it diagnosed by another shop and previously communicated all of this to Marco through 3 separate phone conversations!! In the end I wasted a whole day off and have to arrange another day off work. Don’t have much choice in dealership out here but I wouldn't recommend coming here if you don’t have too.

I have recently had new keys made at Griffiths Ford in Hinton, Alberta. This experience has been extremely disappointing. My car was ready a week and a half past the day they told me it would be completed. The communication was terrible, as they kept telling me a new date for pick up, but the car was never ready. I had to find rides to the airport and back and it was overall a huge hassle. For the last few days, they did give me a rental car which was very much appreciated after having spent a lot of money on transportation when I was told my car was going to be ready several times. They did discount the cost of the service as well which I appreciated. I live 2.5 hours from the dealership. However, the most upsetting part of this experience was that when I finally did get to pick up my car (which I had been using to move when it had been towed) everything inside had been ripped apart and stolen. I lost approx. $830.00 worth of bike gear and other items and all of my personal items/information had been rummaged through. When I picked up my car, I had arranged to swap vehicles after hours as I live so far away. When I made the arrangement, I asked where I could leave the keys so I could LOCK their rental car. The same courtesy was not extended to me and I found my car unlocked with the keys inside. I had assumed they would at least put them in the gas cap. It was very disappointing. I asked them to search the videos to see if they could help me figure out what happened, but they never found anything. Overall very disappointing.
I traded in my 2015 F-150 for a 2016 F-150. My salesman Brent was excellent. He was very kind, helpful, knowledgable and it made my experience a great one. I don't like buying vehicles as I have had some very bad experiences, but I would recommend Griffiths Ford to anyone looking to buy a new or used vehicle!

Came to Griffiths Ford based on a recommendation from a friend for some service work to be done. I had a warped dash on my 2019 F150 which had 56000 km on it. By the time the part got in and I was able to get the truck in, i was at 62000 km. No problem, they changed it. only problem was they put in another one that was just as warped. I pointed this out to the tech that was replacing a j-trim that was supposed to be done when the dash was done, but wasn't. he had said the tech that replaced the dash said it was just as warped as the first one, and didn't see why it was being changed. Brought it to Marco's attention and it was blown off. we can't do anything about this. I left Griffiths and then called Steve the service manager and was told he would contact Ford and get this rectified. Almost 2 months later I had never heard from him as I was told it could be a while to get the part., I contacted him and was told, "I meant to call you" and Ford won't cover it. because they wrote the work order at 56000 and it was done at 62000 it was over 5000 km. "NOT COVERED". i guess that means we can put in defective parts, and the customer now needs to deal with it. I have spoken with Ford and since I now have 66000 on it they may cover a little bit, however, I will have to pay for the rest of it. In order for them to cover it I have to take it in for a diagnostic which I was informed could cost up to $150.00. Thank you Griffiths Ford. Really Disappointing. We were a group of two vehicles traveling from Edmonton to Sunpeaks on a Sunday and our diesel broke down just outside of Hinton. We towed the truck to Griffiths Ford (tow truck driver was great). It was very frustrating in that we could not get ahold of anyone at Griffiths or any one really as the town of Hinton seems to be closed for business on Sundays. Luckily, someone in our group knew someone in Hinton who knew someone and within an hour, the leasing person for Griffiths came to our rescue and leased us a car that allowed us to transport people and gear into the rental car and second vehicle. We did arrive at our destination 3 hours late and had a very good week of skiing. The truck had a major part that failed (injector o-ring) and the service department did the right thing by taking the time to advise us on a repair path that was beneficial to us. Turns out that mechanic really knew what he was doing and spent 20 minutes with us (when we picked up the repaired truck) going over the repair details. I left the dealership with confidence that the truck received the best service possible and that I received good value for my money. The truck ran great! Thank you Griffiths Ford Service and thank you Griffiths Ford Leasing! My only request to them is that they consider adding a procedure to their service such that someone like me could get hold of someone at the Dealership during off hours. This would certainly help reduce the accompanying breakdown trauma to the car owner and take their customer service to an even higher level!

Terrible service department my truck has been sitting in Hinton for over a month waiting for them to replace the turbo for a hefty price and they always came up with excuses why it hasn't been fixed yet never again bringing a vehicle for anything, but if you want to get screwed royally come to these guys!!

Myself and my girlfriend were on our way for a ski trip to Jasper. After filling up for gas, the truck began to act up and ended up stalling and not starting, we called a tow truck and towed it to Griffiths as that was the nearest dealership/service center to us. Am I glad we did. Trudy at the service desk was amazing and friendly. She was very accommodating, and made any extra effort possible to have our truck looked at quickly so we could continue our trip. Shaun (service manager) was equally as helpful. He personally looked at the vehicle, and with his expertise found the issue right away. Within an hour I had my vehicle running again. I highly recommend this dealership based on the customer service I experienced there.

However after visiting for my regular service (oil change, tire rotation, etc) I had to go to their aftermarket department and pay $100 bc when they rotated the tires the never cleaned the bit of mud that was in them and I had a terrible wobble when I got my truck back. So I had to take it in and get that corrected. Would have been great if they would have taken the time to correct that or at least contacted me. Disappointed, especially since the front end staff were great to deal with.

Company bought 4 new F 350's, within months of using the quality of Fords manufacturing is apparent. Aluminum Tailgates cant handle loading an unloading. Disappointed that Griffiths is unable to help replace or warranty this issue.
I drove in from Edmonton to look at a truck last year. The sales associate had the truck waiting for me outside the doors polished and ready for a test drive. The whole experience was simple yet thorough. Never did I feel like I was being sold. All my questions were answered. The best part was the price was more competitive than any dealership in Edmonton. I left my old truck there and drove away with a brand new truck. I would recommended anyone looking at purchasing a vehicle to call them first.

We had some vehicle issues on the way to Jasper. Shawn, the mechanic manager, took time to check out what was going on. Showed my husband exactly what was going on, explained what it was, and assured us that we would be fine. We made it to Jasper, drove for 4 days, and 10 hours home. I just want to say thank-you. Had a check engine light come on in my 2006 Lincoln Town Car when we left Edson. Called ahead to Steve in Hinton on a Saturday morning and he took the car right in for a diagnosis. After saying it wasn't too serious he sent us on our way free of charge!! Way to go guys????????

To say unprofessional would be a gross understatement. Corrine with front desk is a fantastic candidate for a course on customer service and proper employee conduct. It would be a grave mistake to keep this woman employed who has such an attitude problem when being asked simple questions regarding an issue that has been ongoing for over a week now. Not to mention hanging up on paying customers mid sentence and refusing to connect them with the manager/s in charge. Absolutely ridiculous that a place of business would let somebody act this way on their good name. If I could rate a 0/5 I would.

I would like to say how thoroughly discussted we are with Griffiths Ford. We were waiting for our F350 for about a month. Told by phone and emails . The truck would be ready September 1st. We flew out to pick it up. No phone calls or any emails to tell us it wouldn't be ready until next week. Stuff was stolen from our truck. Then we were told that we had to take it for repair some WARE Else. We have been a loyal Ford customer for over 30yrs . Wouldn't recommend any dealings with them what so ever. Worst experience with any type of shop. Let alone the owner of this dealership.

Brought in my Explorer to troubleshoot 2 items. First was a squeak at belt. Came up with 3 parts (Tensioner belt, Pulley and Serpnetine belt) required at a quote of $840. I did the work myself for $150. Only needed tensioner and belt. Second was a trouble light on BLIS system. Found module busted. Quoted $1600 plus 2hrs to replace. Asked to put back as is. Mechanic never put back in when I went to look at it myself. Went back to get my missing part. Priced at Okotoks Ford and can get me a replacement for $598. Something wrong there. They also forgot to put my plastic hitch voter back on. Received a call to come back as they found it on their shop floor. Not a good experience this time.

On our drive from Yellowknife to Kelowna for Christmas we experienced surging troubles in our pickup. We pulled into Griffiths Ford hoping they might be able to diagnose the problem. Not only did they know what the problem was seconds after I spoke to the journeyman / technician but they were able to pull the vehicle into the shop and in under 2 hrs we were back on the road with fresh plugs and no more surging! The staff and the service were amazing and the J/T really knew his stuff and got the job done well under the quoted time and saved us over 100 dollars! And they helped get us to Kelowna on time and really made our Christmas! No way to thank them enough! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Couldn’t be happier! Haven’t bought a a Ford for 25 years and probably won’t drive anything else again . I was extremely Impressed with the service and extra mile provided by Sam Rahall and the support team around him. I was out of town during the delivery of the truck and Sam (on his days off!!) Brought the truck to our house so my family could look at it! That meant a lot to us! I know a lot of dealers will tell you that you’re part of a family but the people at Griffiths ford act just like family and you walk out smiling every time. I didn’t have an easy deal to make but they worked hard to make it happen. I walk out the door and into my new Ford truck a happy man!! I truely didn’t think this level of service existed anymore but Griffiths proved me completely wrong. Thank you guys!!!

We always get excellent service at Griffiths Ford. Recently, my husbands F150 and my F350 was having some sensor issues which made the trailer connected/disconnected alarm go off constantly in the cab. My husband took his truck to the service department to ask about the issue. They scanned it and found the problem and said the part would be in the next day, and to stop by again to have it changed. He said order two because my wife’s truck is doing the same thing. So they did. And he brought both trucks over at separate times to have it fixed. No appointments. No inconvenience. Always a great experience leaving the dealership.

Had a great experience with Griffiths Ford, Ralph worked with me to choose the best Ford Transit passenger AWD 350 XLT. He had answered all my questions and ordered exactly what I wanted. The van needed a minor-very small paint touch up, I didn’t know about it or even see however they were honest rectified it and gave me a loaner Vehicle while it was being worked on. Absolutely terrific dealership! They were a pleasure to deal with from the very beginning. Very easy to shop online and via text with them. They actually sold me my Bronco at MSRP when the majority of the dealers in Alberta want $10,000 to $20,000 over sticker. They should be an example of a business model for other dealerships to mirror. No pressure from initial query all the way through dealing with the finance person. They even had my vehicle ready for pick up on very short notice. Shout out to Derrick my salesperson who is the general sales manager, Danielle the finance manager, and to the whole crew out there who prepped my vehicle for pick up.

Got my truck in fast for warranty
We are new residents to Hinton and purchased a 2020 Explorer from an Edmonton location 8 months ago. Its been two months of a blank, center console display. Took vehicle to Griffiths when problem first occurred and waited over month, with poor communication from Griffiths, for the part to arrive. Today our vehicle went in, to get this display failure rectified....turns out, the wrong part was sent. Griffiths says they cant order the parts because none are in stock. They recommended we speak with a different dealership, the one we purchased the vehicle from, to ask for assistance. Apparently they aren't willing to do that on our behalf? Clearly they don't go far out of there way to help. Thanks Griffiths for failing to rectify our concern and on top of that, kicking the issue right back into my lap to resolve myself. Super disappointed with this vehicle and the service from Ford in general. When you purchase a new vehicle North of $50 000, that's still under warranty, you expect things to operate correctly. And if they don't? Ford, whichever dealership it may be, needs to work to fix the issue. Buy a Dodge
I don’t live in Canada but while on a trip, my F150 failed in Jasper, AB. The truck was towed to Griffiths Ford. The staff jumped into action, analyzed the issue, and repaired the truck in record time even over a holiday weekend. I found the Griffiths Ford team professional, competent, and friendly. If I lived in Canada, this is where I would buy my vehicle.
