We have all the opinions of people who are buying the services of Cruise Canada Motorhome Rental & Sales (Rent Cars) in Alberta (Canada).
To this day the business has a rating of 4.2 out of 5 and the score has been based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that it reaches an feddbacks average is really good, and it's based on a very high number of feddbacks, so we can conclude that the valuation is quite accurate. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they are happy, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to write tatings when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...

Smooth experience with cruise Canada. Beautiful units that looked even better in person. Everything g was clean and ready to go. They were accommodating with alternate drop off times and price was good. Only thing was I tried calling a few times after drop off to make sure everything in the unit was fine and up to their standards (I dropped off after hours) but I never got through or got a reply. I guess that means all was good though!
Five star for their costumer service . Staff is super professional and friendly . Manager Chaminda actually had to stay after-hours for our RV pick up RV was great and clean rented for a week without any issue
Great service and the RV was clean, comfortable , and perfect for our week away at the lake. Price was too good to pass up. Would definitely rent from them again!
Would give it No star rating if possible! Had booked our holiday for over a year & was really looking forward to this trip of a lifetime as it was for my partners 50th birthday. Anyways we picked up the RV, all seemed well but did feel pressured to just sign for it & go without proper check over before leaving. The RV was very noisy when driven, every thing rattled! The drapes & bed linen was dirty & we had to wash the bed linen BEFOREHAND! We actually slept in our clothes most nights as the night heater was too noisy to run all night. The rental had been paid for in the UK more than 12 prior, but they still insist on a $500 deposit & charge for the propane, waste tank empty & deckchairs..this bumped up the deposit to about $590 which I had put on a pre paid travel money card. So even now 2 weeks AFTER the safe return of the RV & receipt of deposit refund, I'm STILL WAITING FOR MY $590 to be returned & we had another week in Canada. I'm sure anyone who has been to Canada recently will know, it's quite expensive compared to UK prices when eating out plus everything needs Tax added! We were really struggling by the end of the trip money wise. So come on Cruise Canada! If the deposit can go into your account in a day, surely money going the other way can be much quicker! The sight seeing was amazing but our RV experience was REALLY DISAPPOINTING- I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND THESE GUYS! Their RVS are long over due an update! TRY CANADIAN DREAM. We saw lots of their vehicles around & they looked more up to date & cleaner.
(Translated) Simple decor. Collection from a camper as if you ordered a loaf of bread. Explanation briefly. A lot of supply. (Original) Sobere inrichting. Ophalen van een camper alsof je een brood besteld. Uitleg summier. Wel veel aanbod.
We are happy with everything, customer service was great they explained what you need to do, and how to do it. The vehicle was in good shape, clean and very comfortable. We recommend it.
Great experience! My kids and I loved the RV. Folks at Cruise Canada very professional and accomodating.
(Translated) Friendly staff. This time the camper we had was a bit old. Needed some TLC. (Original) Vriendelijk personeel. Dit keer was de camper die we hadden wat aan de oude kant. Had wat TLC nodig.
Seamless experience and great customer service.
Excellent! Everything you need for a trip of any length.
Although I have not rented from these guys yet, but my gut feeling tells me to cancel my reservation and go elsewhere. I made a reservation before making it out to their lot to check out their rental RV's, and I am regretting it at this very second. I am left with such disdain after visiting their business last weekend. Their staffs were ill-informed, unwilling to help, and downright rude. I did countless hours of research prior to showing up, so when I asked questions, I was judging their level of competence. My fear is that come pickup time, I will be given a poorly maintained and prepared RV (ie: dirty as hell based on what I saw!). I can only assume that the rest of their staffs are as incompetent and unprofessional as the ones I met. I happened to witness one of the staffs answering a call with the utmost unpleasant tone and eye rolling. LOL
The building is a bit depressing and boring, the staff aren't overly friendly but get everything done. The information video is rather dull but does convey everything you need to know well. Not an overwhelmingly positive experience. However, the RV was clean and had all the facilities expected resulting in not a completely bad holiday.
(Translated) When picking up the camper it was somewhat difficult to clarify the number of KM that was in the contract, with long-term calls to the head office nevertheless worked out well. 3 weeks with pleasure driven with the camper and enjoyed the beautiful country. Handing in the camper was arranged in 30 minutes. Had a very nice holiday.
Arrived to pick up our RV, & a lady gave some food left over from their trip which was a good start, there is a table in reception for things people don't want & to pass on to other travellers. Staff seemed a little rude. Went off in our RV & had a great holiday other than the hot water system didn't work & the water pressure was very weak. We complained when we got back & they gave us a little refund which we were happy about.
Service was friendly. RV was clean. Price is competitive. Offered 3 days rental. Would recommend to friends and families.
We had great fun cruising around our province in the larger motorhome model this year. It was easy to drive and very comfortable to live in for a week - way better than tenting, that's for sure! The air conditioning was so great to have before bed and the shower and toilet are a real bonus. The staff is very friendly and we found the Manager Steve to be incredibly accommodating and helpful. This is 2 years in a row with a great rental experience and we'll do it again!
The motorhome was very clean and everything worked. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who is wishing to rent an RV
We decided to rent an RV from Cruise Canada after exploring different rental options and couldn’t be more pleased! The only thing that topped our memories out west was the ease of the rental process and customer service from Steve, who was especially enthusiastic to make our experience the best possible.
Great place to buy a used RV. Steve was pleasant and answered all our questions. They even paid for my flight to pickup the RV! I’ve sent over 4 people from Edmonton in 2018 to buy.
Best customer service, very informative and helpful. Thank you, your help made our trip smooth.
Great experience. Clean RV and easy to follow maintenance
Steve was very accommodating and willing to stay past hours as we dropped our RV off at 5:30pm. There were no issues as camper was found to be clean to their satisfaction. We had a bunch of gear that we no longer wanted and they have a table which we could leave it there for others who may have a use for it on their trip. All-in-all, a great experience!
Good,service could be better..
I've seen these motorhomes all my life and have always wanted to rent one. With travel restrictions on and not being able to do our yearly trip, we took that money and rented a motorhome for Cruise Canada! It was everything we could have imagined. Booking, picking, and drop off where a breeze!! Traveling and camping in it was perfect for our family, we all enjoyed it! It was comfortable both for sleep and driving. Only thing we would do differently is rent a bigger one next time, we got a compact one and it was just slightly to small, only in the storage aspect. Can not wait for our next rental and trip!!
Great experience for a first time customer, we went on an amazing 3 family road trip and it turn out to be an amazing experience! Generally the units were ok clean , though I clean anything I rent regardless before and after use. We requested the newest fleet with leather seats and wasn't a problem for them. Upon pick up I switched mine due to tread wear and wasn't a problem for them either. One thing to note is the back up sensors should be checked and replaced if needed . Overall, I would recommend and look forward to this summer for a second trip! Thanks!
Great bunch of people. Easy in and out service. No problems here! The Vehicle is loud to drive but I imagine it would be considering your driving a house down the road
Awesome place to rent an RV Steven from the North store is an amazing man who cares for the customer and the quality of experience we had. Very helpful, professional and an all around great experience.
Great prices. Nice staff. The trucks Are well equipped
Simple process to book and get the RV. I bought the kitchen package (plates, pans, cutlery etc.) and unfortunately there were items missing there. It's unfortunate that we could not leave our car there...this could be improved, it is very inconvenient to go back home or look for parking lots to leave your car. Overall the experience was very good.
Not great rvs but good service. .
Great experience renting a c30 with cruise Canada. Check-in was seamless, rv itself was perfect, everything worked, use guide is comprehensive. On return we were done in 5 mins, no issues coming back late as we had rang to let them know, they didn't charge us any late fee either
Rented from Cruise America a couple of years ago and did it again in September 2017, this time with Cruise Canada out of Calgary....... Be prepared to sleep on a plastic bed as the bed sheets provided will not stay on, it's impossible! The general cleanliness Leaves much to be desired. The material provided was also below average or actually totally useless, the hose for the city water connection and the sewer hose for example were both leaky because the o-rins were missing, the answer from the staff, did you buy a new one? Well am I supposed to make the repairs while camping? I expect an RV in working order when I pick It up. We met a lot of Cruise Canada customers on our way through the Rockies with exactly the same problems, so our rental wasn't just bad luck, it seams that all of Cruise Canda's rental have got some sort of a problem and that maintenance is not up to speed! Anyway I am sick and tired of Cruise Canda and I can only strongly advise anybody considering to rent an RV to AVOID Cruise Canda at ALL COSTS, this company is a disgrace and shouldn't be allowed on the market. Luckily there are way better companies on the market Than Cruise Canada.
We had the most amazing time and experience travelling through both Jasper and Banff National Park! The prices are competitive and extremely reasonable and offer much more value than having to rent a car and also book pricey accommodation with the headache of packing/unpacking everyday. It was quite simple and did not take us long to figure out how to operated all of the functions of the RV. Pick-up and drop-off was painless and efficient. We did have trouble with our shower and called for help which was not very helpful, and we ended up having to figure it out ourselves - that was really the only negative of our experience. That and our table did not work very well, but the company ended up crediting us when we returned the vehicle and mentioned this. 10/10 would recommend for your next adventure!
Staff were friendly, the camper was clean and well maintained. We had a great trip!
Very good value and customer services. The vehicle is basic but clean and easy to drive.
We enjoyed using Cruise Canada. Reasonable prices and good, comfortable RV. Sleeping Mattresses very comfortable. We got the largest unit. We had 4 adults and 3 children sleeping in it comfortably and could have still fit more. Very Fun Road Trip.
Tried to get information about buying one of their used motorhomes in Calgary. Left messages no one returned my call. Tried calling 8 or 9 times but no one answered. Even Tried their unit rental office and still did not get anyone to talk to. Gave up went elsewhere.
Getting your RV and returning it is very simple.. it is a short process and it runs smoothly as long as you have all the required documents. The RV we received was clean but sticky, so we had to go over it again and clean it. I am not sure if a cleaning person actually cleaned the car, or just the previous RV renter. The personal kits and kitchen kits were a mass, we had to check that we received everything we paid for, and we found a lot of gaps which we had to go back to the office and request, e.g. we had 14 spoons and two forks, some of the personal kits missed sheets or towels, etc.. Going over the RV with the representative was kind of lean and missing info, but it might be related to the girl who showed it who was less familiar with the process. We had no technical issues, and everything in the RV worked well. When we returned the RV we received compensation for the milage we didn't use. It was our first RV trip, and we are looking forward to our next one :) so overall the experience was very good
We rented a Large unit and had a great time with it. The only thing i have to mention is it take 6 hours for the fridge to get cold, so i'd recommend you to give them a call in advance to they can get it going and cold at arrival. Still giving a 5 star as the pickup and drop was painless and quick. The kids loved it too. The beds were pretty comfy considering its a motorhome. Very competitive pricing. Will rent again for sure. Thanks!!
The less pricey option, but sometimes I envied people in the fancier RVs
Vehicle was great and very well prepared. Check in and check out were efficient. Good experience.
(Translated) We love the RV tour. The whole family enjoyed it. Space is good, we got the bigger RV. It has fridge and freezer. Stove, sink, toilet and shower. Good beds. We ran over 1200 km without problems. The only drawback, apparently, is that the vehicles already have a certain 147,000 km. The microwave didn't work, the vehicle's engine is a bit noisy and the gasoline consumption is high. Otherwise great and easy. Congratulations. (Original) Adoramos o tour de RV. A família toda curtiu. O espaço é bom, pegamos o RV maior. Tem geladeira e freezer. Fogão, pia , banheiro e chuveiro. Camas boas.
There are two aspects of this review. People dealing with my rental were great: helpful, patient and friendly. We were a little bit early, so they prepared our RV earlier. They were very patient explaining everything and very friendly answering our dumb questions. Now the RV. Well... few things were not working (for example: LED lamp, valve on shower was not tight so it was leaking and pump was working all the time if left on). They didn't tell us about that (maybe they just didn't know?), but when we found out we were far into our trip so we were a little bit reluctant to mention it (maybe they would blame us for that). I guess it could be helpful to be more open about such things. Anyway, great memories and one of the best holidays of my life! Refund for unused mileage is very nice. Don't use middle man always use Cruise Canada (or Canadream, tbh).
(Translated) Smooth service when picking up and returning the RV. 4 stars, because the RV was not delivered clean. Friendly staff. Stuck renting here again in the future. ???? (Original) Vlotte service bij afhalen en retour van de RV. 4 sterren, omdat de RV niet goed schoon afgeleverd werd. Vriendelijk personeel. Huren hier vast in de toekomst weer. ????
The motorhome was awesome and such a freat idea!! I am definitely a rv camper now!!
Great pick-up and drop off experience, I like the art work on the vehicles as it blended in with the beauty of our camp in the Canadian Rockies. Sure hope to do it again soon.
The check in and check out process was easy even though they were busy. Other than the toilet seat was broken and the table edge needed some tape to repair the sharp edges, the RV was in good working order. Loved the week touring Bamff and Jasper National Parks. We would do it again in a heart beat.
Great experience with Cruise Canada in Calgary. The motorhome we rented was clean, well equipped and in good condition. Pricing was also very reasonable (probably because their business must be hard hit due to the lack of international visitors). We would definitely use them again!
Unit is perfect everything you can think of. Nice shape. Second time we rented. We love it. No more tents for us. Juan and Belinda Calgary, Canada
(Translated) We rented a caravan for 10 days to visit the Banff and Jasper natural parks, the incredible surroundings, super recommended, the RV company not so much. They gave us a caravan that was not clean, we asked for two personal kits one for each person consisting of a fitted sheet (old and dirty) and an even older and nasty duvet, 2 towels were also not clean and a very limited kitchen kit, with a single cloth for every day. As one day passed, we realized that the sensor of the sewage tank was not working correctly, and despite emptying it every day, it marked the levels wrong. The caravan sounded like an old tractor, although we had no mishap with it, it had more miles than you would expect for the price you pay. There was also no generator, something that is not mentioned at any time, in the videos on the web if it appears for the model they gave us, so it was expected that you had, and have heating all night, but nothing is further from the In reality, either you plugged in electricity at the campsite (not always available) or you only had 2 hours of heating, bad, considering how cold it is in this place. Mention that in the return of the RV the girl was limited to checking the gas tank, that gives an idea of how they check the units, and therefore how the next one receives it ... they probably won't even clean them and come out again as they enter. It is not acceptable when you pay so much for this service. The experience was positive because the landscape and the company deserved it, however if I had to rent an RV again, I would do it with another company.
Unfortunately our experience with Cruise Canada in Calgary was not a positive one. The staff gave our RV away to the wrong couple which resulted in us having to wait an additional hour for them to prepare another one as the couple had already left the grounds. In addition, the $100 kitchen kit is not worth it. We did not receive the items in our kitchen kit that are advertised. For example, we did not receive a can opener, dish cloths, cutting board, measuring cups, etc. The kitchen items we did receive were not clean - they had dried food on/in them. In addition, when we arrived to pick up our RV we were notified that the RV had now been winterized and the shower, sinks, and toilet could no longer be used. We were not notified of this when booking and it would have changed our plans... I would not recommend this company. However, If you choose to rent an RV from here I would recommend making sure you have all the items in the RV that you paid for.
Second time I've used Cruise USA/Canada and I have to say I had next to no issues with them and would be happy to use them again & recommend them. The best part is the hand over at the end, there were issues over the 1 month period which they we understanding of and took into consideration for a final bill. I would have prefered to have known how easy going they were going to be prior as I did have some anxiety prior to handing the RV back. The winterized RV was a bit of a pain but it made sense, I'm not sure if I was made aware of this prior to the day of pick up so I can imagine it would put a few people out if they were expecting to have a fully functional RV. For me the absence of a generator was probably the biggest issue as it limited our free camping opportunities which are nearly a necessity in Canada in winter time as so many of the RV camps are closed. The process of introducing you to the RV was a little rushed and a little flippant with a few things for example having windscreen washer fluid on-hand all the time, an absolute necessity in winter but not something a newbie would likely know, plus having lots of antifreeze liquid on hand for using the toilet. We did have to call in an issue and the help desk was A++, I can't fault them even on a Sunday! Thanks Cruise Canada for an awesome rental. If I make my way back to the beautiful country of Canada it will likely be in one of your RV's!
Great service. Good quality. Everything to ensure a great trip!
We had some issues with the vehicle but, they had the best price compared to other companies and we used to own one so we knew what to expect. I wish I would have realized that the Canadian models do NOT come with genny before I rented - thankfully, hubby caught that before we left. I had to buy some repair stuff but, they fully reimbursed me. I've rented from them in the past and would rent again.
A really bad start We got our Cruise Canada on a Tuesday. In our first gas stop, while we were refueling, gas started pouring out of the gas line. Firefighters had to come to the gas station, and they told us that our RV had the fuel line cut After that, we called customer service, and they told us that it was already late (6 pm local time) and that we should spend the night waiting in a (quoting literally) "Walmart parking lot". However, they told us that the manager should be ready next morning at 8 to solve our problem Obviously we stayed in a hotel, and went to the place at 8 am only to discover that the manager was not arriving till 9... When the manager arrived (Steve) he paid for our hotel night, unused camping stay, gas and discounted us the unused rental day. After that, the trip to Banff was great Summary: they don't check their RVs (we checked some obvious stuff that was not working before that), but the manager Steve was really nice to us
as a First timer for RV experience It was pleasure and smooth to go with Cruise Canada. bit higher on price than the one using Installed RVs at the Campsites by the Owners. but Plus point is you know before what you are getting before your trip. :)
Budget RV gives you budget quality. You spend less money but be prepared to spend one day repairing electronics, cabinets and such. Arriving at a mechanic with electronics problems the response was: "Ah, Cruise Canada, of course... " Travellers assistance let's you wait for hours and gave us bad advice on repairs. The motor did not break down though and light damage was not invoiced.
Overall it was amazing experience. When reached to rental location, Everything was already ready. It took less than 10 minutes to complete the rental process. Staff was friendly and explained all the features in detail ( as was renting RV first time). No issues with RV. It was in good condition. While return the process was simple and quick to return. Only bad experience was we left our Parks Canada yearly pass hanging in back mirror. Late in the day we realized it and called next day morning but they were not able to locate it. He said he will check with the team if they can find it but haven’t heard back. :( Update: Received call today, they found the park pass and will be collecting tomorrow. Thanks Cruise Canada for making our experience so wonderful. Surely.. I will be coming back for a longer trip.
Great value and very new RV. We will definitely be renting from them again
First time renting an RV with some friends. Service was great, as newbies we were a little worried about if we could do all the RV stuff but we got a full and comprehensive walk-through at pickup, we ended up calling roadside assistance once and that experience was also seamless and well organized. RV culture is very welcoming! Fantastic experience, I will definitely consider renting from Cruise Canada in the future.
Great service and very polite staff.
We booked an RV for a several day camping trip. After booking we were instructed to contact them to confirm pickup time. It took two days to get ahold of anyone to actually arrange it. Pick up was smooth, we had watched the instructional videos on the website, which was handy to have. The RV itself was in okay shape. We recieved it clean which is a good start. At one point on our drive I was seated on the bench seat, and upon pulling to tighten up the seat belt, the one end of it shot out from under the seat. Turns out, one of the four seat belts for the bench seats wasn't attached to anything at all, which is definitely unacceptable. One of the drawers in the wall unit that has the fridge would not stay closed, and you could see the tape residue from it obviously being taped shut at some point. The entire drive it would fly open and closed. The toilet also leaked constantly, water was always all over the bathroom floor. Customer service was flexible with us to work out a sunday drop off for the RV on our way back, as we ended up needing an extra day to get back. We also didn't purchase the kitchen supply kit, but to our surprise we opened cupboards to find almost all of what we needed for the kitchen in there which was nice. For the price, they really aren't that bad but the seat belt thing is a really big issue. We looked and looked and couldn't find a way to reattach anything ourselves. Make sure to give the belts a good tug before leaving the lot to make sure everything is good. The heater, a/c, hot water and kitchen appliances all worked properly. All in all, for what we paid it was much nicer than sleeping on the ground, and if you're booking for an RV rental that is really good priced its definitely not a bad choice.
Friendly service, comfortable motorhomes, and affordable rates. We had an excellent family vacation and will be renting again this summer.
The staff there are helpful and friendly, they'll talk you through anything you ask. Our RV was ready on time and was presentable. The actual RVs are pretty good, there were a few things that were torn, broken or dirty, but nothing too major. The only major issue is all the other costs for hiring bedding, kitchen things, outdoor chairs etc etc, just be aware that the RV doesn't come fully equipped. In terms of returning the RV clean, there really isn't too much to do, the person checking ours barely even looked, so don't worry to much about making everything perfect.
It was good. Cheapest we found. The propane setup is terrible on these if you are out for a while and run empty. You will need to find a place that will fill it right on the truck as the tank isn’t removable.. Other than that decent trip.!
There were some glitches but overall the experience was great. Issues were resolved and rv was great. We will rent with them again. Main issue was grey water indicators was not working.
(Translated) Nice camper, 30 feet with plenty of space to store your belongings, we have slept in various places at the top as well as at the back of the queen-size bed. The explanation was clear and crisp with a 30 minute video. Much better arranged than the camper that we had at another RV Company last year.

That was the worst experience of my life! The RV was terrible and it sucked. The top roof was leaking water, so in the middle of the night, my kids would always wake up soaked in water. My kids could never sleep and would wake up at 1:00 and crawl in my bed.We had seven people who all couldn’t sleep. The bed frame was broken, and when we called Cruise Canada they didn’t even answer!????????????Part of the wall was broken and it was cardboard. They said it was only four years old but they lied about it when it was like ten years old. We told them and they didn’t refund our money. I warn you that you should not go to that place. You will not be happy. The water heater didn’t even work. I don’t think they ever do maintenance on the RVs. Personal kits 55$ per person? Super bad. I don’t know why so many people put 5 star reviews.????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????All they want is ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????. I’m never going to Cruise Canada again.
Excellent experience. Nice and helpful staff
Great people especially for adventure
First time using Cruise Canada and it was great, the vehicle itself was clean and the engine is powerful enough to move the beast ... One thing I didn't like though was the loud noise the heating does to start.
So easy and convenient! Employees were knowledgeable and helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!
Amazing customer service and even gave us a extension on check in and out without extra charges. The RV inside was very clean and in good condition, refrigerator cold and space big enough for 7 days trip. Overall everything exceeded my expectations.
Great experience, great price. Check in was fast and easy. RV was easy to use. Two adults, two small kids used it and it was perfect. Staff at office were friendly and helpful. Returning the RV was fast and easy.Highly recommend Cruise Canada.

So fun and such an easy, seamless rental
The RV is in good condition. Location is also very good. Just a short way to the airport
We rented an RV this fall and everything was great and as expected. They were very accommodating.
Very great service they really went above and beyond. Nice customer service, they know their Rvs very well. I will definitely come back time n time again. Prices were the best i ve seen, rvs were very clean, sanitized and smelled good. You must try them there the Best, very well maintained RVs. Great people, great service, and great Rvs thats what i was looking for. LOVE IT
Very smooth overall transaction experience. This is our first time RV experience. The staff walked us through the process and the basic how-tos. Informative and clear. The RV is in pretty good condition. Had a great time with it.
BEWARE - I rented a 19 ft RV from the Calgary office late Sept 2016. To start with, gas tank was 1/3 full. That was annoying, but minor. What wasn't a minor annoyance was my carbon monoxide detector shrieking me awake at 3AM my first night, 5 hours after starting the gas furnace. I called traveller assistance and reset the detector, then hard reset it by pulling the fuse for 5 minutes, and then settled down for the night. Same thing happened next night (my neighbors were not happy). I called again, options were to 1) buy a new detector and/or 2) buy an electric heater. Of course, I was in Banff over a weekend - no hardware store open. So, I ended up bundling up in my (summer) sleeping bag and waking up from the cold every few hours to run the heater for a few minutes while the fuse for the detector was pulled out (not smart, I know). Possible this was a bad detector, but you can't smell CO, so it seems nutty to ignore it all night long. Probably I was the 1st person to use the furnace this season? You could see a lot of yellow, not blue, flame - so I'm pretty sure that means it wasn't burning properly, and it took hours to alarm - seems like a bad detector would go off right away. Some observations: 1) This shouldn't happen - a defective furnace leaking carbon monoxide can kill you. This should be maintained/checked before I rent the RV. 2) Why have gas heat? The Cruise Canada RV website doesn't tell you this size RV (19ft) HAS NO GENERATOR! So the furnace (fan) can only run 2 hours on the auxiliary battery - so you HAVE to be hooked up to an electrical outlet at a campsite to run heat overnight. Why not just use an electric heater and avoid the propane/CO issue? They did knock a day's rental off for my near death experience and several nights of poor sleep, but I wouldn't repeat this adventure.
This was our first experience renting a motorhome. Cruise Canada was definitely well organized and provided clear and concise information. The 'walkthrough' of how everything it works was a bit short and sweet but you become accustomed very quickly. Can't fault them on any aspect of their service, neither pickup nor return. Would do this again in the blink of an eye. Special thanks to Steve for being a customer service ambassador. This is THE BEST way to live it real, get off the grid for a few days and reconnect with Mother Nature.
You'll be surprised at the luck you just got if you rent one of these fine previously used units. From free pre clogged drains to air conditioners that don't work. An absolute delight awaits you. Don't pack that toothpaste, there's plenty of it splattered around the sink for your whole trip. Put your feet up like your second cousin third removed...no need to clean anything here my friends. I do recommend you bring lots of plastic if you're afraid of lice or creepy crawlies sleeping with you at night. This will be a real adventure in camping.
Great customer service, the lady on the counter was amazing. I just hope they get newer RVs soon ????
This rv Rental was the most beautiful and easy trip ever to book, for me a single father and my three older children had ten days out all over out west and the RV MOTORHOME 30foot was so clean and easy to use and the driving was not bad at all to drive and park, I even had to call and extend my stay one more day and it was easy and smooth right over the phone and it was done…. My rental because of it be right at the end of COVID-19 bookings where lower rates and that was the icing on the cake. Now my kids had the most fun we ever had on any trips we are now going to rent motor homes every year from now one each year as a regular trip. I can’t thank Cruise Canada enough for bringing my family’s memory’s even more closer and connected with the motorhome running so easy and stress from to operate it and drive it and fuel up kept all the family cozy in beds and so much room for the older kids to have there space apart at night. I do recommend the 30’ motorhome as it has the generator and most space it all is the most benefits on the trip a must have going on long trips.. again very simple to run and service and clean out and return , so basic my kids will be getting the next booking so dad can relax on his holidays thank you.
We had a great time with Cruise Canada RV. Staff are really nice and kind. I want to score as five srarts, but only one thing makes me a little bit unhappy. The vehicle's water pump had some problem and we rented it on Saturday. The water pump stopped working on Sunday. We decide to go Banff, but we have to stay until Monday for fixing it. Monday morning we go Cruise Canada and the water pump was working. Then we go refill the gasoline and propane, get ready to go Banff. The water pump just stop working again. We turned back to change it again. The staffs were nice, but we lost almost 3 days only stay in Calgary. After that, everything is ok with our trip.
Should have looked at the reviews before we booked! Service at the depot was indifferent, at best. The van was clean enough but very tired and shabby inside. Once we started to drive on the open road, we found the automatic gear box was very worn and showed every sign of the 151000 +km the vehicle has clocked. Also the speedometer measured MPH in a KPH society. A further irritation!! We assume the vehicle had been shipped up from south of the US border to end its days in Canada. Dumped more like! We’d have forgiven the shabbiness if the mechanics had been ok. There was also a loud rattle of exhaust gas valves. We had been promised a vehicle no earlier than 2014 but were reliably informed that the E350 base vehicle (ours) has not been made since 2010. When we returned the vehicle we mentioned the gear box but the response was “Oh we’re selling these this year!”
Standard size rental the past 2 years, Quick and efficient pickup and dropoff, clean inside with no issues. Cannot beat the price from other competitors. Will be a return customer in future. Thanks!
The trip went great no trouble with the equipment The unit was clean when we picked it up. Returning was a delay as only 1 worked to answer phones and deal with the return inspection
Good services, the compact RV we rented is clean and low mileage, easy to drive. The staff there are friendly, will definitely rent again in near future.
(Translated) We rented a 30ft RV last month ... it was a great experience for my family. We were voort at 11am, although the pick-up time was 1pm. Chaminda was so attentive .. you hurried and we got our RV before 12pm .... handover of our unit was easy and quick .. don't forget, Savitha was also very helpful. . (Translated) I do not recommend it at all, we had many problems on the road, very bad service, we were totally unattended, the Kitts that offer you cutlery and kitchen badly and very expensive ....... fatal. Fatal.
Rented a rv and drove out to the west coast. Amazing experience. The manager at the store in Calgary was amazing.

We used this company to go out to BC and we loved it! The whole experience was amazing! I recommend this to everyone looking to travel with family and need space on the road.
Had a few hiccups to no fault of Cruise Canada. However when I returned it, the managers and staff were able to correct the situation. Very pleased, will be back!!
I went to pick up the RV we reserved. Steven helped. He still remember we rent from them last year. He put aside a RV according to our request. He did the walk through with me in detail. Excellent customer services skills. Highly recommended to rent with them.
Smooth experience from check in to return. Clean vehicles and all on-board amenities were functioning well. We were upgraded to a larger vehicles as the compact we booked was unavailable. Would definetely rent with Cruise Canada again.
With my RV and my reservation had no problem, everything clean and organized. my only drawback, I ended up forgetting a professional camera tripod between the seats behind the passenger, I called to ask if they had found and they told me not to !!! I have 100% sure was inside the RV. result, someone stole and I was at a loss of $ 120.00. I recommend looking inside the cabinets and in place of the beds that lie behind the passenger before returning. sad experience with dishonesty.
Great experience, great service, great value. Thank you!
Not very impressed with service we recieved. Our RV was very rusty and we were not given all our bought utensils. Also when we moved beds ready for sleeping they were disgusting. Would not use company again.
Great value to rent an RV for a camping trip. Easy to book and pick up. The RV was in good condition and clean.
I had a great, memorable and safe trip. I am hooked!
It was a great experience with the family and friends and the customer service of the manager Steve was awesome
Great price and great service. Got someone late on the phone when we needed help and was easy to communicate. Easy drop off, but would have like a bit more information at the pick up. Overall a great experience and loved our RV.
Our Rv blinds were disgustingly gruby! The rails holding them up were loose. Bed linen had to washed before use! Not all pots pans kettle were there as promised! Furnace was too noisey to run all night.. The gearbox had a mind of its own and would change down for no reason and make the engine scream..using more fuel than it should.a Very bad experience. After traveling all the way from Scotland
Everything went well except the use of the coach battery. The manual and the assistance on the telephone told us to run the vehicle for 30 min to charge the battery since we didn't get a generator with our motorhome. Well, running the RV for 30 min did nothing. In fact, we drove for FIVE HOURS that day and it did not charge our coach battery. After a day of driving the LED indicator was barely lit at the lowest (red) 10V indictor. No matter how much we drove the battery did not get to amber or green. We had to track down someone with a generator at our campground at 7:40 pm so that we could get a 20 min charge. Having said that, the external charge worked wonders. We got to green in 20 min, so it was not an issue with the battery or the charging system. We found out later that the coach battery is charged by a "trickle charger" while the engine is running. I think that this is because the wire to the charging system is very small and cannot handle large currents. So, the lesson learned is that if you rent one of these motorhomes without a generator, do not expect to be self-contained. You will likely need an electrical hook-up at least every second day. The other lesson learned is that the manual is wrong with respect to the charging system. As set up, you will never be able to charge your coach battery off by running the engine.
Easy company to use, would definitely use them again.

Was best experience ever have used them 4 times we fly from Vancouver drive the rv to my moms property in Carolina Park on the property enjoy the time have our own space comfort then drive it back fly home great visit and not expensive. Awesome thanks
First time RV renters and it was for a special vacation almost last minute during the COVID-era and my wife and I couldn’t have been more happy with our decision! We booked it online, reviewed the videos and manuals, then on the day of pickup things went quickly. Questions I was armed with from researching previously online and observing peer reviews were sufficiently answered and before we knew it, we were on the road. Driving the RV was just like driving a 1 ton or a large cargo van (I have had past experience so this wasn’t anything different, actually it was easier than expected) and I didn’t have many hesitations because we purchased the “peace of mind” insurance for about $7/day from the dealers. We filled the gas tank ($75), the propane tank was already full (3/4) and this lasted the two of us for 6 days until we returned it. We also just went to our campsite and back but I was cooking with the gas stove daily. The RV was clean at acceptable standards and they included the camping package by accident but we didn’t use any of the items, nor looked at them, at all seeing we had already prepared our own. Being in the outdoors was amazing, the heater worked beautifully - automatically shutting off then restarting maintaining the interior temperature, the water heater takes about 10 mins to heat up so if you’re taking a shower just hit the button before you begin. The water tank was refilled by me a couple of times which was very simple as well as draining the sewage/waste tanks. Having the comforts of home and being able to enjoy the outdoors in a remote location was the perfect special time we were yearning for... thanks to CruiseCanada for an affordable and delightful time. We had no troubles with our drop off (we had prepaid for some of the services like propane to make it faster) and retrieved our deposit within a timely fashion. The customer service was kind and professional both times and we are definitely not only going to book again but have given much praise to our family and friends who in return have planned their own CruiseCanada excursions!
Great set up and service. Loved the experience. The vehicle had 100k kms though and wished it was a bit newer.
Helpful staff and courteous.
My wife & I rented a 25 footer from 09/22 thru 09/29 from the Calgary office. The vehicle was worn but clean. We had 1 small glitch with a valve not being closed but that issue was fixed quickly, otherwise I'd give 5 stars. The staff was quick and efficient on both the pickup & return. Furnace, stove, fridge and HW heater all worked as they were supposed to. We only used the rear bed and it was perfectly comfortable. The vehicle showed some wear but nothing that affected its performance and we never expected something fresh off the manufacturing line. We would rent from them again, in fact, last night we made our reservations for next fall. My only suggestion to renters is that they check out all the systems (heat, fridge, stove, etc) before they sign for the vehicle so that they are sure everything is in good order BEFORE they leave the lot. We had a VERY good experience and I will recommend Cruise Canada Calgary to anyone who asks. P.S. Just wanted to add that my security deposit was refunded in about 4 days. All-in-all, a pretty seamless and pain-free experience!
We bought a used (ex-rental) Majestic 28A from Cruise Canada Calgary 6 years ago and had a great experience! The sales manager, Frank Schuermann, was absolutely fantastic! We felt absolutely no pressure and he took his time to explain everything to us, giving us all the information we needed to make this pretty big purchase. After the purchase he stood behind the RV too, fixing a couple little things that were missed during the inspection. We have thoroughly enjoyed this RV and wouldn't hesitate to recommend one to others! Rental RV's may not have all the bells and whistles but are much heavier duty than most consumer-grade RV's! I definitely recommend Cruise Canada Calgary, especially Frank, but I understand he has moved on since then...
(Translated) You reserve an hour for delivery of the RV but when you call the day before to confirm they will put you in another later. The RV is delivered with several things missing. That is, the reservation of time that is to leave the same preparation does not work, even having confirmed the day before. Old model without generator.
Nice RV to rent out .. we rented 2 RV s .. could have been more hygienic maintaining their microwave and fridge
Great test in Glamping
We rented a truck camper in April from Calgary; everything worked out perfectly. The staff (Steve and Racquel) were fabulous, and the camper was clean and well-equipped (wine glasses in the camper would be great, though :-)). Not sure why they have so bad ratings, our experience was really enjoyable.
We enjoyed having the motor home for our camping trip to Exshaw and Banff. We had to attend a wedding at Exshaw, and it definitely served it's purpose. The one thing we noticed, was that the floor of the motor home was very dirty. I had to scrub the floor on our second day out. I also found the height of the toilet was a bit much. As a senior it really bothered the back of my legs. The large door to the outside storage area did not lock. We only used it for storage of beverages. Also the drawer beside the furnace was broken so we didn't use it. It makes me question the maintenance of the unit. The shower and the cooking area was was great. I enjoyed using them. As seniors we found crawling in out of bed was cumbersome, but we did have a good sleep most nights.
Absolutely best way to travel across western canada.
This was the first time I ever rented an RV, so I was a bit hesitant, however, it was a great experience. The people at CruiseCanada in Calgary were very quick and efficient when we picked up the RV and when we dropped it off. They went over the tanks/furnace/gas info thoroughly and we were in and out in no time. They also allowed us to pick up the RV earlier and dropped it off later then indicated in the policy. Our RV was nice and clean, ran great, hot water/furnace all worked good! We took it out to Jasper and it was really convenient as it rained for a bit, so we just got in our warm RV, had hot showers, made dinner and relaxed! The only down side to our experience, was the bed was horrible. Both my boyfriend and I came back with neck/back pain, however, not CruiseCanada's fault, just a basic mattress. Great experience and will definitely be booking more RV adventures in the future!
Staff was pleasant. RV ... my goodness I don't think they ever do any maintenance, not very clean, most things do not work... septic tank would not completely drain ... likely full of TP, which is discusting as tank would read full about every other day, and it smells foul -> when I brought this up to staff their response was yeah we know. Kitchen set was junk, you could go to dollar store and buy own stuff for cheaper .. which we ended up doing for most of it. Very fun cruising around in RV, great way to see canada, but next time I think I'll look into adventure RV, Canadream companies.
At first I was hesitant with the some poor reviews but I cant say enough good things. Pick up and drop off were both smooth and service was excellent not to mention $500 less for a weeks rental over their competition. Was clean and well maintained. Definitely will use them again.
Had a great experience and a super quick pickup and drop off.
Update Aug 2021: Rented again this year and overall it was a great experience. One annoying thing is that they provide the vehicle with partial gas and you have to return at the same level, which is a bit of a pain. I don't understand why they don't give it with a full tank and expect to return with a full tank which is much easier. Good experience renting an RV for the first time. Easy in and out process where a walk through was done and orientation given at pickup. However the RV I was given had a sewage pipe which was cut out to less than 2ft length and reinserted into the vehicle which caused a lot of grief during the trip at camp grounds. I had to use the common dump stations instead of the hole at the campsite as the pipe was too short. The maintenance staff should check such important items before renting out the vehicle. I did report it during the return but the associate made it sound like it wasn't a big deal. Anyways, I will certainly rent again but make sure to check the sewage pipe health next time.
Easy to deal with. The unit was exactly as described. Will rent again. Steve Belzner was fantastic to deal with and very accommodating.
Many times I went there to inquire before renting: The female employees there seemed "disinterested" in their customer service etiquette or lack of. They are 100% not friendly & wish u all just go away. Only the male manager was helpful.
Friendly, helpful, clean, easy to drive and easy pick up and drop off. Flexible staff , that are happy to help.
We enjoyed the experience. Our office allowed us to pick up 2 hours early which was greatly appreciated. There was some cosmetics issues inside ( upper bunk rubber trim piece was loose, they did try to repair.) We where traveling with small children, used upper bunk for storage only. The unit handled nicely on mountain roads and very windy weather. No issues with septic dumps at camp grounds. We felt secure and safe in unit. My one pet peeve was the way the bathroom was split into 2 area. Shower on one side and sink toilet in other. We are planning our trip for next year. Would recommend the Calgary branch.
Off season starts Oct 1st beware! We planned on renting an RV for our honeymoon. Paid the deposit, and when we went to pick it up, we were informed that it had been drained of fluids etc. for the season. The emails and acceptance mentioned winterizing during the off season but didn't say when that was and we had no warning until the day we left. Not really a pleasant experience.
We rented a standard motor home for my husband, myself, and our dog. Super impressed with how clean is was and easy to use for beginners. The price was also $500 less then the competition. Great customer service as well. Would definitely rent again.
Pick up was a fairly quick process, although it would have been nice to be informed in advance of the instructional video that we had to watch & this made available before travelling. There's a lot of information to take in, especially if you're a first time renter of an RV. Didn't take the bedding, as it's a ridiculous price, especially for a family. If this had been sensibly priced, certainly would have taken it, so the company missed out there. The RV itself was clean, if starting to show its age somewhat. Rather unnerving when checking in at the first campsite, as the RV would not start. This seemed to be a recurring theme after driving it, stopping for a short time & then starting again. It was very much fingers crossed & hope for the best. At our second campsite we blocked the check in queue for ten minutes, whilst waiting for the RV to decide when it wanted to start again. Facilities in the RV are pretty basic, a few extra items would be useful, such as clothes airer & some additional kitchen items. The equipment in the RV is obviously not checked regularly & has been bought on the cheap. The handle of the kettle broke when picked up & the tin opener just fell apart. If you have fairly low expectations to begin with, you won't be disappointed. It is basic, but is still a handy way to see as much of the country as you can. A little more thought & attention to detail & some upgraded stock, would make the world of difference & making renting an RV a much nicer experience.
It was a great trip to Banff and Jasper using RV from Cruise Canada. We could have meals and naps any time we wanted. The price was attractive, the shop location was convenient and everything in RV worked fine. Minor thing that I want to mention is the air conditioner and heater are a bit noisy. Especially heater had some dusty. But, by the way we really enjoyed RV trip.
Rented a compact RV for a road trip with 2 family members and a puppy. It was great! Perfect size for us. Cruise Canada was excellent. Had a couple minor questions enroute. Called the 24-hour assistance line and got answers right away. Super easy and very friendly. I would for sure rent again and recommend Cruise Canada to anyone who asks.
(Translated) We had a fantastic trip to the Rockies. It was memorable moments and with a Canada Cruise RV it was even more enjoyable. The service was very good and not complicated. I have shared this experience with several of my friends. Thank you very much and see you next time.
I rented a 28 ft class B motor home in off season. The price was very low for both daily rate as well as km charge. This is the second year in a row I have rented an RV from Cruise Canada. The rental was convenient and quick. The motor home was clean and in good condition, generally. I would have given it a 5 star but for two issues: the sanitary drain hose was not usable as was my experience the year before and the Units do come equip with gas ovens anymore, just microwaves.
(Translated) Good service. Unfortunately, our camper had a few small flaws, but there was a discount. (Original) Guter Service. Leider hatte unser Camper ein paar kleine Mängel, dafür gab es aber einen Rabatt.
Bought a used motorhome from the folks at Cruise Canada. Can't say enough good things about Steve and his team. Steve was a pleasure to work with, he was very patient with all of my questions and test drives and was super friendly and did not put any pressure on me during the sales process. Would highly recommend this route if looking at purchasing a used motorhome just ensure that you do your due diligence in terms of vehicle inspections / history as all used vehicles are not equal. As an aside, I recently received an unprompted letter from Steve with an extra set of keys, goes to show his commitment to customer service.
A great trip and great service from Cruise Canada. The RV exceeded our expectations
Right from the start getting pricing to pickup to drop off the staff in Calgary were excellent thanks
Great value -- solid service from Steve, their current Sales Manager -- worked through a small issue and left a great lasting impression -- thanks again!
Great price, helpful staff
Quick service and reasonable price.
It's a good place
(Translated) Very good! (Original) Muito bom!
We rented a unit from here for a weekend. The unit was amazing! Made for a great weekend trip! The staff at the store were awesome too! Great experience all around! Might be a new early year thing!
Check EVERYTHING before departing. We received a propane tank that wasn't full, a gas tank that wast full despite the outgoing paperwork saying it was, the kilometers on the odometer where 100km more than what they recorded. The hot water heater didn't work, the black/grey water hose was missing essential fittings. The cutlery and crockery was dirty. The truck camper was otherwise great, some fitted sheets would be nice.
Great service. Had no problems at all. RV was in good condition. Would rent from them again
Renting the RV for a weekend camping trip with the family was a breeze! The pick up was smooth, it was easy to drive, and when we dropped it off, they took care of everything for us! I will definitely use them again.
Easy going rental service.
No stress and hassle with the rental. Product was exactly what we expected and staff was friendly and responsive!
