Two months prior to my vacation, I booked a 15 passenger van. Calmont promised me that the van will be ready a week ahead and suddenly changed their policy without notice and asked for a $10 000 deductible on top of an optional insurance package. I agreed to both and proceeded to sign the contract. On the day I came to pick up the vehicle, Calmont decided that I would have to bring my own insurance, although prior to this (and when I had signed the contract) they had agreed to offer their own insurance at an additional rate. I have a clean driving record and a bus license. This was under the new rental manger, Ryan. I’ve rented from Calmont before and never had a bad experience like this. If I wasn’t able to find another rental company my vacation would have been ruined. I will not be going back to Calmont.

Please be on the look out for ALYSSA WINDRIM. Alyssa is a FB marketplace scammer. One Monday January 10th at 4:30pm Alyssa Windrim stole a Aritizia Aspen winter coat , valued at $350.00. Alyssa sent a "etrasfer request for money" and tried to pass it off as a etransfer of funds. Ironically Alyssa Windrim works as a credit Assistant for Calmont on the west end of Edmonton. If you know Alyssa Windrim please let her know I want my $100.00
