You know what I really like this airport, I don't enjoy many airports because they're usually overcrowded & the way they are set up is very overwhelming. The border agents are always nice there and I find many airport workers aren't that friendly, these ones are..so thank you! It makes flying less scary. I do wish there was a bit more to do while waiting but I love the burger king I visit him EVERYTIME HE GIVE ME WHOPPER. ???????????????? LOVE YOU CALGARY AIRPORT.

Our airport is not that bad compared to other places like Vancouver. Go in early and remember to bring the exact weight for your luggage. Besides that the wait is not long and most flights are on time if you book for early mornings.

Airport is HUGE but they have an indoor tram to solve all that. Well lit and modern, offer a ton of food selections. The airport is easy to navigate despite it size as it is signed very well using a simple A, B, C system.

I LOVE the Airport. Everything is organized. Nothing wrong about the Airport. The New International Terminal is HUGE and Awesome. There is lots of kiosk. It works Well. The baggage carousel tells when exactly your baggage are and when are they coming. The terminal is extremely wide. I love the parkade. There is thousands of parking spots to park. Now they have moved some domestic flights to the international terminal, which is nice. A long ftom security, though.

Very big airport. There are free shuttle service available for one gate to others. Shuttle drivers are amazing. Sitting area is very good. You can sleep too. I had 5 hours layover, didn’t get bored for a minute. Free Wifi available. Food …

I was there to drop my guests , they got their boarding passes and saw gate D33 so we all start following Gate D sign when we reached there then we knew that we have to go back to Gate B or Gate C for security check as the gate D is close …

Great airport with a lot of amenities Customs and immigration process was a breeze.

We are liking all of the upgrades that have occurred over the years. The Marriott hotel, all of the dining choices and the like. The one upgrade that wasn't addressed, was the connecting flights procedure. After you do CBSA and grab your baggage. You are out of the secure area. Then you need to drop off your baggage again and then go through Security again. I don't really understand the rationale of this process. In the CBSA secure area, there is a Connecting Flight line, which doesn't require you to retrieve your luggage and leave the Security Zone.

Busy but great. Dog washroom is the best out of any I've seen. An actual room with grass firehydrant and a hose to rinse off. Airport trolly to get you around if you need it. No charging stations anymore. Possibly because of covid?

Tony Bonin

Arrived at 12:30am from TO. Place was deserted until around 4:30. Take a stroll over to B gates and you'll find lounger chairs to chill. Clean, cool temp, would be nice if the Weather lounge opened earlier, but once it did, the comfort and food were great.

Very busy airport but we'll organized

Very efficient and convenient airport. I have flown throw/from/to Calgary International Airport numerous times over many years and can't recall any time things didn't move smoothly. The US section is also specially well organized. Unlike many airports you don't need to walk forever. The new section added is pretty well arranged too.

The best airport I've ever been to. Full of art installations and greenery with an amazing building desine. The airport was also very quiet and full of little shops. This airport is basically a museum!

Ryan Bennett

WOW! I travel a lot and I am a little gob-smacked. My first time in Calgary just for a layover. From the layout, transportation, right down to the friendly and helpful staff. The Calgary Airport is honestly best in class at an international level. Bravo!

A La Rose

It's a nice enough international airport. Clean, big windows with vistas of the mountains and city. Security staff are friendly. Standard corporate fare. Watchout for the overly-entitled trusted travelers, ha! ????

Melissa Jensen

Great airport with lots of seating. There are some restaurants here and a few kids areas. Things are pretty expensive once you get past security. They had some basics if you forgot some things but a limited selection.

Michael steelman

It was overall a great time being at calgary intl Airport. Very clean and very professional looking airport. The washrooms were all very well kept and same with the hallways there. All the equipment from escalators to elevators were working lots of staff there to answer questions as well you really can't ask for more out of an airport.

Waqar Asif

Poor services at YYC. People are waiting for baggage, flights are always late, there is no staff for help, people are wandering and looking for help. Flights are upto 3 hours late. Never flying with WestJet in future.

My sister and I flew to Calgary just so I could get a medical procedure done! It was not a vacation! Travelling to Calgary was great as the airport was a ghost town which made us feel safer. Staff were very friendly and helpful with giving directions to luggage pick up etc. Bathrooms and walk ways were very clean and sanitization stations all over for everyone to use! When we returned to the airport to leave, we instantly got a wheelchair for myself with a lovely lady/assistant from Eritrea. She waited with me and all the luggage while my sister returned the rented SUV. She pushed me a long ways! Thank you! When we got to customs I let the staff there know I had just had knee replacement surgery. I was instructed by my nurse and physiotherapist to inform customs immediately so they would be aware that I might set off the metal detector. Of course I did set off the metal detector! The lady asked me to sit down which I did with difficulty and to remove my shoe on my surgical leg. I let her know I could not physically remove my shoe but she could remove it. She said she could not remove it. I asked her if my sister could remove it for me. She said no. I told her I cannot physically remove my shoe as I just had knee replacement surgery less than 48 hours ago and my body will not let me move that way. I offered to show her medical documentation and she declined. In the end I used my good foot/leg to raise my surgical foot/leg up and she scanned my shoe underneath and was ok with that. The line was being held up and I know customs was just doing their job but I was feeling extremely pressured while in immense pain to physically do something I just could not do after just having had knee surgery. After customs, things went smooth ???? We got to our gate. Chatted with other Winnipeggers heading home like us and had some Timmies for breakfast ????????

Easy to navigate & although the passport control lines were long, I thought the airport staff did an excellent job directing everyone & helping each person as needed. Really appreciated!! The YYC has a Covid testing center that was friendly & speedy!! Also - for American travelers returning to the US, you’ll go through customs before entering the USA here which is nice (saves time after landing on the US).

Simon (PTM)

Amazing airport -International and Domestic wings are easily accessible. Neat, very organized and very convenient process for boarding flights to different destinations.

Amber Klein

Big beautiful airport, but security and janitorial staff need to step up their game during a pandemic. Being in this airport is a safety risk to travellers. No sanitization of frequent touch points or chairs at the gates and ++ people sitting around not wearing their masks, including airport staff. No luck trying to reach the airport by phone or email to date, let alone finding an on-duty security guard in the airport.

Mini Rag

Review for the USA terminal, it is spectacular! Airy, open, new, and super clean. Enough shopping if you are so inclined. There are many choices for food. There is art strewn all over, please look up and around. You have your choice of seat types, each with a couple plugs for charging, and great wifi. All in all, a great airport.

Noel Nissen

Calgary keeps their airport clean and efficient. I always like the sweeping view of the mountains and the city as I go between gates. Lots of food options. Could use a little more seating at some gates, however.

Hamid Ashraf

Beautiful airport. Good service. Cooperative staff.

Николай

I have flown to YYC for a couple layovers, and each time, my experience has been great. The terminals at night time can become pretty quiet, so that is nice compared to some other airports. The terminals are also very well labeled so it would almost be impossible to get lost (but never say never). Just make sure to look at the screens every now and then, especially if your layover is a longer one because sometimes your departure gates can change, but that is probably true of most airports. All in all, great experiences.

Kiran Nazim

Very good experience, awesome customer service and washrooms are very nice and clean. When we go through Calgary Airport we never face any issues. The airport is huge and I really impressed with the quality of cleaning

Jeremey Klassen

Everything runs as it should. Checking in and security are efficient. Internal shuttles are available for long walks to your gate. However, gate 95 in the new wing could use more seating as many folks had to awkwardly sit on the floor.

Maxine Schaffer

It's an airport. Landed internationally and transferred to internal flight. Everything clean, everyone friendly, clear signage for where we needed to go. Getting off international they have an amazing kiosk system for customs so there was no lines if you were transferring to another flight.

Benjamin Guest

I waited my entire life to hear a chili’s greeter welcome me, through the gates of their abode. And it didn’t happen. Food was delicious though - I almost dropped my croissant.

Wilbur Lin

It's a good way pick you up to downtown by 300 bus. Just go to the front door when you take your luggages. Remember buy a day pass ticket only 11 dollars for adult because this bus can not accept the single ticket 3.5 dollars for adult.

Rolland Aaron Alexande Alho ben-Pispa

Airport roads have really changed since the last time I flew. •°● ????. Big improvements! ¿The white hats are gone?.. I ???? hope they come back. It should be a payed position. It is a great introduction to Calgary and it's Hospitality. ???????? GO YYC! ????????

Neil “Papa Bambam” Bamford

It's odd how quiet it is and with construction ???? on security areas happening during the quiet days it was a but of a long haul from domestic check-in to the security check point at International terminal but at least they relocated the plane and we boarded down there. Bonus point because Chillis ???? is in every terminal and they have Tool Shed Brewing Star Cheek IPA on tap

Rose Thorns

So NOT HAPPY. I was choosen to get a covid test. As I traveled with a group we were put in the same cubical..and lady took only one person's info, but handed us tests. …

Roslynn Ricard

Not sure if I'm just lucky or something but security and customs are always super fast. The airport itself is lovely (they did expand it a few years ago). As unpleasant as airports are, YYC does a pretty good job. Certainly better than any LAX experience.

Jack Otto

The new terminal is very nice. Security line seem to be pretty quick and there are many options for food. The duty-free is pretty large and lines seem to be pretty small all together. They seem to do a pretty good job of getting you through customs in a timely manner. Just make sure you have your documents filled out, and your passports are in available. Nothing annoys the customs officials more than passengers who are not prepared.

Vlad

Arrived yesterday. First time in Canada. Long waiting for baggage. Modern place, quickly filled out the customs declaration on a digital machine. The officers are not rude, they have issued a work permit. Thank you very much!

B Shotunde

Clean and convenient. Rental cars are available at the airport for pick up and drop off. Plenty of seats, restaurants and shops while you wait for a connection flight. There’s a Starbucks, as well as vending machines. There’s some areas that needs upgrading.

Anthony Ubah

Clean, Organized and Standard Airport. A little thumbs down though on Covid-19 the protocols in place amidst the ongoing surge of Omicron variant. There is need for more sanitizing stations all around the airport. I needed to disinfect, and it was a little trip back and forth. Also, there was a measure of laxity from the personnels verifying proof of vaccination. They almost didn't bother to check when I passed(albeit hesitantly), and when they eventually asked for my vaccine certificate, it was a mere formality glance, and no cross referencing with any valid ID. Basically it could have been anyone other person's name on it. All the same it doesn't take to much away from the structure and organization of the airport.

Katiuska Varela

Nice airport. The international terminal is new and convenient. Traveling during COVID is through, so make sure to have extra patience, as random COVID testing upon international flights arrival can take a long time

Tim Mcgrath

It was a real quick connection. 20 minutes from gate 57 to 17. Most of the moving walkways were working but not all.

Bruce Taylor

Awesome walk through the airport the other night. I stopped by Westjet customer service for about 30 minutes only to find out they couldn't help me at all. They also let me know that I didn't have time to go to the lounge but it was just as well because it was closed anyway. My connection was a half hour late leaving but the good news was I didn't have to struggle with a bunch of luggage when I got off the plane because they never put it on the plane! Outstanding

jackie shannon

Was travelling out of the country out of Gate 74 and had to fill our forms required for our entry into Mexico. The forms had to be filled out online. My phone was dying so I had to find a place to charge it. There were no electrical plugs anywhere in that whole section of gates and not an agent there who knew where I could find one to plug in my phone. Unbelievable! I felt like I must be in some kind of alternate time zone. No place to plug in electronics in the year 2022!

Jeph Me

New airport but horrible design, no signage for airlines, talked to 5 airport security and none know where the United airline counter is, was even assured by 2 airport info desk workers that it does not exist. Boring no good shops or …

Nope Dont matter

Great experience. I wasnt in the terminal this visit but watching a plane land over head for Runway 29 is awesome.

Robert Phillips

A better than average airport. Almost everything was closed, so getting food was impossible at 11 pm. There is a shortage of ground crew making a number of people on our plane miss connections.

Stacy Mathieson

Waited for 1.5 hours for luggage and they finally announced that 3 flights had problems with opening doors of the airplanes so could be a longer wait. Ended up leaving after 2 hours and left without our luggage and did a missing luggage claim so we will have to go back tomorrow. 2 out of 4 of our family got randomly selected to get tested again, so had to wait for the inept and slow "switch health" people to do the testing, Then they kick you out an exit outside so we had to walk back in the freezing cold to get back in another set of doors to meet the rest of our family.

Fredy Arias

I underwent the security screening for over an hour, my bags were checked multiple times, patdown, no information about why I was stopped for so long was provided. They pretended to keep my laptop because it didn't turn on. I understand that security is important. I didn't refuse the screening and I was respectful during the whole situation. But they made me lose so much time and after sending me back to check my carry-on with the carrier at least they could help me to be prioritized when I had to go through the screening process for a second time. Worst experience ever in an Airport.

Joyce Peart

I was picking up people arriving and was waiting in the cell phone lot. I have never seen it that busy and people were parking on the road. This idea is amazing and once I got through all the cars in line, things are very efficient. The airport itself is just getting busier.

Katrina Chapdelaine

Due to the time of year and COVID identification one must arrive at YYC at least two hours before domestic flight. Many people are having trouble downloading their vaccine identification code via carrier so travellers were lined up for guest assistance to check in. This also produced major wait times through security.

jackie walter

Traveled back to regina with my adult daughter from calgary. Westjet staff very approachable, super friendly and so helpful. Would be nice to have more charging stations while waiting to board and ideally in the seats/chairs. The day before I flew into calgary from LAX and despite having priority tags on my luggage, my suitcase was one of the last to come down the shoot. I realize it's a privilege to be able to get priority seating, but my understanding is that with a priority tag, one's luggage would come out first.

yatna patel

KLM employee Lilian at the airport has the worst service. We contacted her for baggage claim and she was just to rude to solver our problem. The airlines needs to work better to improve there staff training and service.

sydney pitt (Sydney pitt)

I work here and am always loosing things, the three ladies down at the information booth on arrivals level took a lot of time and effort going through the lost and found to find my things. They were all extremely kind and helpful! They made me not even care about the items I lost because they were so kind! 10/10 customer service!

Stylingqueen

This Airport had no one around when the connection was not met. No information was available on where to go. Herded to the testing site for covid by someone pointing go that way. Everyone was tired and cranky. I asked someone a couple of hours later if there was somewhere warmer to wait for the flight that was delayed for 12 hours and was told no. I found out much later that I could have gone further to a warmer place to wait where the freezing cold air wasn't hitting me everything the doors opened. Minus 60! It was horrible. Nothing is open at 12:30 till 5 no where to keep warm and no one with any information. Once the airport shops began to open I made my way to a check in and wasn't able to get a luggage tag from the kiosk. I was sent here and there in many different lineups only to be told I had waited in the wrong line up. At least my flight had been delayed 12 hours so that I had enough time in between to do the covid test and find the correct gate for the flight to Regina. An hour and 5 minute flight that was delayed by another hour. All in all the trip I took I spent 5 days at the airport and 5 days at the resort. Not a very good rating I'm afraid.

Perry Keller

One hour and 15 minutes since we landed. Still standing at the baggage carrousel waiting for our bags. The same thing happened when we flew back in July of this year. They really need to get their act together. People complain about waits with regards to Covid and testing what about waiting for your bags for over an hour.

Logan Saunders

It is a much better experience than when I was here four years ago. I flew in from Kelowna and didn't have to go through a border control leading into my connecting flight. …

Momma T

We travel from Calgary often and usually have no problems at this airport. Its a small airport, especially for being one of the "big" ones in Canada. The staff at the airport are usually very nice. I fly multiple times a year and have been flying with a little human lately, and they are extremely gracious and helpful, even at security. We recently arrived back from Mexico during Covid and the entire reentry process was managed so efficiently and in a timely manner!

Xiao Liang

The facility in the airport is good, but security check is pain in the arse. I would be treated even better in the prison. That Felix guy is so rude, he was screaming at me and repeating himself. Probably he thought I have troubles to understand English. He searched my bag and unwrapped my gift. He’s the rudest people I’ve ever seen. Horrible place. Horrible people. My whole trip is ruined!
