We rent from this Budget location regularly. Very accommodating according to what we need on any given trip.

Nope. Called for info on a rental. Had to squeeze every bit of info out of the guy. Couldn’t tell me if they’d pick me up or deliver even though it says they do on the website. Wouldn’t tell me what car I’d be renting. Asked what cars they offer in the line up, he said he didn’t know. Every question I asked...it was like pulling teeth. Then he puts me on hold and I gave up and said no thanks.

Nice service and friendly staff! I had to bring my vehicle into the shop and they helped so much! They arranged with the dealership with the costs and provided shuttles to and from and made sure everything was good for me even when I wasn't sure exactly what I needed; I appreciate their help!

Great rental location. I dropped my car after hours and forgot to refill the fuel. Rather that just filling it @ their crazy rate, they called me to give me the option. Really appreciate the gesture.

My first experience here was 5 star because the guy who helped me was very polite and helpful. But not a good experience on my second business with them. I called 15 mins after i drove the vehicle home just to make sure that they are aware that there are some hairline scratches on the headlight which we/I was not able to see during the walk through. I did it as courtesy so that they will be fully aware of it and got a not so pleasing response. The interior was not even cleaned properly plus the bumper is still full of bug marks which I fully understand that it is hard to remove.

Update November 2021 This used to be the best place to rent a car when it was run by Francisco. Now it’s your typical shady, underhanded, add charges whenever wherever possible rental place. Disappointed.

First time renting here. It was cheap and affordable and the out of office drop off makes sense. Just a little concern that the staff on site.could be a little more considerate. 2hile I understand is concern, he could have carefully explain where he could not extend my drop off time by 30 mins. If not for there closing time of 5:30pm, I could have waited till 6:00pm before renting.

While on a long term van rental for my daycare centre, we had the catalytic converter cut out and stolen from our vehicle. When I called Ron and Corbin at Budget, they were exceptional at finding solutions and provided us with top notch service. Only hours later, another vehicle was brought to us, clean and ready to go. Would not recommend this location as the owner and employees are not professional nor polite. They gave me the keys and did not provide a walk around the vehicle before I drove away. The vehicle I received was not cleaned, there was ashes in the center console, ashes on the vents, the car smelled of spilled liquor. When I returned the vehicle I had brought up the concerns to the gentleman at the desk. He immediately became defensive and yelled at me. When I asked for the managers card he said he's the owner.

Despite the website of budget saying they accept debit cards in leiu of credit cards, they do not. They won't even accept credit card numbers. Was very upset when I was left stranded, away from home, because this isn't mentioned in my multiple confirmations of bookings. Don't come here if you don't have friends or family in the area yet, they'll leave you stranded with no warning.

I wish there was a rating for a negative 100 stars. I rented from this location 6 times in a row within a 6 week period. They were 100% aware that I had a fully insured vehicle in the dealership having warranty work done on it. Knowing it was the last time I was going to rent from them, the manager of the store tricked me into getting extra insurance for what ever his reason was. $88 for two days to be exact. When I called to complain he said there is nothing he can do. When I asked to talk to his boss, he said he doesn’t have a phone number I can call. Infuriated, I called another budget store and got the info to contact Edmonton’s head office. Highly don’t recommend this store. Con artist and scammers.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION!!!!!! They are rude & they do not spend time with you when you are ending your rental. I filled the gas up and dropped the keys off. I cam inside because it was windy & they were telling me that the gas was not full and they were going to surcharge me despite me showing a receipt. I wrote a complaint to budget & they just shrugged it off stating it sounded like a peak time & it was a one off. There was 1 other person in the room. I

My Favorite part about budget rent car is when i was talking to the rep at the store was when i mentioned that i had to use this car to drive to work in the morning . he did not notice that my return time said 530 am. I do remember specifically putting 5 pm on the reservation, but i guess not. so screw you budget i am taking my money elsewhere

Booked online, tried to contact the location to arrange a pick up as I was in a hotel. The gentleman on the phone assured me they could have done that, so I waited, but no one showed up and nobody answered the phone anymore. They close at 12 on Saturday, as a result, I was stuck in the hotel. Such an incompetent!

I first loved the experience and expected fair return but was charger 113$ on top of my already agreed price of 355$. This promise was made after sigh offs on the papers for discharge of 355$, they told me they would wave the editional day charges as they did not tell me to drop it off in an open store location on Sunday. Do not recommend if you don't have experience dealing dealing rental dealerships.

Booked a rental car from Budget Sherwood Park Alberta, went to pick up car and it was a little too small for easy access for my 91 year old mother. The Agency Operator "Sahaib" was so accommodating, he upgraded us to a more comfortable car. We were all so very thankyou to him, as it made our long trip more comfortable to enjoy our memorable trip. Thanks Suhaib.

Who ever gave 5*, they should check their bill receipt. This location alot if cheating in the bill. This is first experience here, its very bad. Almost they try to cheat $230. Pls be attention while you people paying time.

I have prepaid the car for a week. Returned the car in 2 days. Agent said I will get some adjustment on my bill for the difference of the prepay and actual bill. Called Budget hotline and said there will be no adjustments to be made. Very disappointed

Had a cargo van reserved for early morning, received a call within half an hour of closing time the night before informing me that there was an issue with the windshield seal on the unit that I was supposed to pick up the next day. I was told that I could have the van still but not until 10am (two hours after I had planned to start my day) and my options were pick it up when it's done or cancel my reservation. I understand completely that it's out of the company's control for something to be returned in need of repair but I was offered NOTHING in way of compensation for my inconvenience, not even a small discount. Again, completely out of their control to need to repair the unit, but completely within their control to exercise better customer service and at least offer more than the "Take it or leave it" options I was given. I will never go back.

What a joke. Never renting from budget again. And we rent a lot. I had to come put 7 bucks in the car after my employee dropped it off. They want to replace the windshieod for a chip on the bottom passenger side, the size of a nickel. Like wow. Good thing I took 2 hours out of my day to come handle that big catastrophe.

I asked if something came in sooner, if he would call. I did not expect a call any time soon. I received a call this morning from Awan advising he had something available for me.
