Had the pleasure of meeting Micheal Gauer and discussing all aspects of selling my Toronto Condo. My objectives were to maximize the selling price, in an expedited manner, while incurring the minimal amount of cash outlays. After listening to his ideas and rationale, I agreed to a listing with Micheal. Micheal provided me with a contractor who had extensive experience in sprucing up condos in a timely manner and where my costs would easily be covered by an increased sale price. Timing was extremely important to me, both in regards to the start and completion of the project. Micheal’s contractor referral provided options, discounts on material and fair pricing. Work, which included painting, new laminate flooring and remodeling the bathroom was completed on schedule. The workman ship was high quality and the premise was left extremely clean. Micheal then arranged for a professional photographer. A high quality and professional listing brochure was completed. When listed, the condo looked pristine and ready to move in. Prior to showing on the condo Micheal reached out to all of his contacts, generating a buzz about the condo. As a result of his efforts, over 50 showings were scheduled. I received multiple offers. Micheal worked diligently with each broker and at the end of the evening, an offer was accepted. The offer met or exceeded all my expectations in regards to pricing, conditions and closing date. I am extremely please with Micheal’s professionalism, knowledge and commitment to his clients. I highly recommend Micheal to act as your agent in the purchase/sale of your property.

Incorrect and misleading information and details. Example, Amenities falsely claim "heat and Hydro included" on many listings when it is not. If you are interested in a listing contact your own agent, they will be able to tell you what is and is not included in the monthly maintenance fees.

Condos.ca is an unreliable and an unprofessional company. I was contact by Matthew Gravina after I had filled out a form on Condos.ca, and he himself had requested to show a few condos to me on Friday morning 10 am. I scheduled time out from a working day for FOUR viewings with him and two other people had had committed to join me. I had called Mr Mathew 30 minutes prior to our appointment to check if everything was on track to which he said yes. 10 minutes later, he calls and cancels ALL our viewings because his manager had called him to downtown. Dear Mr Manager, this proves that customers are not your priority and that you are not instilling the values of keeping a customer happy. The least that could have been done was to call a colleague who would be able to show the viewings in his place. Mr Mathew clearly doesn't value people's time because I have wasted my morning that could have been allocated elsewhere. As a matter of principle, I did not contact any other agent after making contact with Matthew because he expressed his eagerness to show me the apartments and now i am left to see nothing! By the looks of other reviews, this is not the first time that employees at condos.ca have cancelled on their customers in the last minute. I can never trust condos.ca and can definitely never recommend it to anybody. I hope that you will thoroughly investigate this incident and ensure that other customers are not treated in a similar manner.

We (me and my wife) moved from USA to Canada in the month of April and we had been trying in our own ways to find a place for rent. After some days of failed effort, we approached condos.ca and we had the privilege to work with the realtor Ms.ALBINA GORBACHEVSKAYA. Our requirements kept on changing as per the availability of CONDOS. We also had the requirement of VASTU (Indian Science of Architecture) to which she took noted it seriously. Our daily routine became house searching as we were jumping from one Airbnb to another for over 50 days. However, Ms.Albina ensured that she showed the listings on a more frequent basis as she wanted to help us considering our situation. She ensured that our requirements were met and appointments were fixed without delay. I could see her emails about the rental properties as well as other formalities early in the day as well as late at night which shows her DEDICATION to her work At last we moved to a Condo with no compromise on our initial requirements as well asVASTU compliant. This condo was shown in just couple of hours after it was listed in Condos.ca. do not work with this team if you have anything less than perfect credit or enough money to put down a large sum payment on a rental. they will not help you. they will claim your profile is too challenging and too much work and decide that you are not worth their time. after reviewing my profile for a week and only doing 2 viewings the team I worked with decided that my profile was too challenging and backed out of helping me and my roommate find a rental. they insinuated that we should take the first thing that was offered to us because my credit is so bad that no one would ever rent to us. keep in mind that these places were the size of a shoebox andsand bad and one that was not well maintained. when we expressed our displeasure in the rentals that we saw they dropped our profile immediately. we only saw 2. Robert Osborne then sent me an e-mail with links to Craigslist and Kijiji and told me I would probably have better luck using these websites. disgustingly unprofessional and upsetting. wasted a week and a half of my time. keep in mind that they reassured from the beginning that they would be willing to help and that they've had experience dealing with people with bad credit. you made me feel small and insignificant and worthless. do not work with these people.

I signed up on condos.ca to browse for condos when I moved to Toronto. Michael got in touch with me and we had a brief call. Right from the beginning he carefully listened to my requirements and he also booked a bunch of viewings. He considered my request to do viewings on a weekend as my weekday schedules were tight with my new job. Though there was some listings which were beyond our budget he worked with us to focus on the ones which we were interested in and helped us in making rental offers. His swift action in making the offers helped us in signing a beautiful high rise condo in just a few days. He made sure that he was always available during the meetings with the listing agent and landlord during key handover and helped us in making sure things go smoothly. I would definitely recommend him for your search for a new home.

3 stars lost due to lack of follow up and attention. 1 star given for a great site! 1 star given for friendly service...albeit lip service. Never heard back on any of my offers that were made on the site. Had to follow up via email and phone call on several occasions. Although they were friendly when I spoke to them...nothing was actually done.. Last communication I had with the agent was to set up some showings. I provided my preferred days and hours...and the agent confirmed that one of the days "should" work for them..I responded acknowledging the message.....Never heard back from them since....that was over a month ago..... I ended up finding my own place and very happy that I did...useless service...other than the site.

I was actually skeptical at first because of how helpful and responsive this agency was even though their service is (essentially) free. Our agent Jill was pleasant, professional, and really made it feel like she was on our side in terms of finding a great place to live. The word "condo" can be intimidating to people looking for inexpensive places to rent, but this site caters to a variety of budgets and you can definitely find a great deal if you know what you're looking for and put in the time to search. Getting contacted by Alexander Evans from condos.ca was a blessing. After we decided to move to Toronto from Edmonton, we started apartment hunting by ourselves online. After finding nothing but negative reviews online for all the places we liked, we were stumped. Add in the impact of COVID-19, we became really stressed about finding a place to call our own. That’s when Alex came in. Shortly after signing up on condos.ca Alex contacted us, and offered to answer any questions we had. He did so professionally, on multiple calls and was very knowledgeable too. When we booked our viewings he was upfront and forthcoming about all the places and made sure we knew the cons of each place too. Finally after we picked the place we wanted to rent, Alex was instrumental in helping us prepare the offer, sending it to the landlord and getting us the place. But his services didn’t end there. 4 years ago when I needed help looking for a place to rent, none of the agents even bothered returning my calls. Fast forward to the past few weeks, I was browsing units for sale on their site and was non-stop bombarded with texts and emails. We even received a call from one of the agents of Condos.ca who asked us about our requirements and some basic information about us. He advised us it would be best to start looking from end of May or by 1st week of June. We were shocked and disappointed to see that he never got back to us and till date there has been no communication from him. We are more than sure many condos would have opened up by now which are available from July 1 but since Condos.ca requires you to go through their agents who are super unprofessional and unresponsive after initial communication, a very disappointing experience is met with. Have been lucky enough to find something very suitable for us through our own efforts and research. Glad that we were not dependent on any agent who claim to be very invested in your search but simply go AWOL when needed.

Here is my experience with condos.ca, nothing negative just a review. I am in the process of selling an old condo and buying a new one. My first experience buying a place(not with condos.ca) was quite easy - I explained what I am looking for(the budget, the area, etc.) A few days later we went to see a few condos and in the next few weeks I moved into my current place. This time - I was browsing condos.ca and booked a viewing. I am not an experinced home buyer so I needed more of a guidance in the process, than the actual viewing. Their representative, Liam McKinney, was 30 minutes late. He was quite for most of the time, only asked questions (about where I work, live, etc.) trying to figure out whether I am a serious buyer. My goal is to sell my old place and buy a new one, not to prove someone if I can afford one. I explained what I am looking for and told him I need some help with selling my old condo. Never received an email or any kind of communication ever since.

Completely unprofessional! I was in contact with the sales agent Aldridge Pinto who asked me to send him my credit report and other personal documents before he’d even answer a few questions I had. I sent him my documents and let him know of a couple condos I wanted to view, he then ignored my emails there after. I missed the opportunity to view both units and I even asked to be referred to someone else and he did not reply. I then called the brokerage and spoke to a woman at the front desk who said someone would call me back but I did not get a call back. Terrible experience and I’d suggest not sending any personal info to this company

First rep Markos didn't even show up for the showings after my partner took a day off to see the listings. The second rep, Ruben, after he said he arranged the showings for the next day, he cancelled all of them by saying it will be a waste of his time to see the places that he promised to show. So, be super careful if you're going to work with this company, they are not just unprofessional, their attitude is also very rude. Although we sent them a feedback regarding the no-show up, but we didn't get any response, either.

Condos.ca has imposed a new rule. "Complete the paperwork and we will schedule a viewing only after verifying the paperwork". The agent Sandy Arrobas sent me an alert reg. a rental property. And when I responded to her email and requested to book a viewing, she needed 3 days and a reminder email, to respond. And the response was "complete the paperwork first". Um not arguing that I need to rent a property without doing paperwork. Nothing g is stopping you from booking a viewing, and verify the documents paralelly.

We first met Gloria through Condos.ca, which made us inherently skeptical. My fiancé and I are not fond of inbound sales calls but decided to give her a chance and we are very happy we did. Gloria took us to over 30 units in a 3-month span while asking the important questions, digging up comparable units, and providing us with shrewd negotiating advice to get the unit we wanted. I was interested in a condo in downtown decided to go ahead with the two apartments and choose which one is better, you literally have to book and see how the location and the apartment looks like. Anyhow I go ahead with messaging Valerie and Didn’t get any response from her the first week, I was assuming she was busy and might get back. I waited another two weeks and see she didn’t even bother looking at my emails or application. I texted her few days before Christmas and waited for her reply she didn’t even call or reply, so I called her and she picks up saying who is this, I literally told her who I am and waiting for her email and calls she goes like” oh my bad it’s my fault I’m on vacation and can’t get your call” and then hangs up on me. That was very unprofessional for an agent who only relies on commission has shown how low she was. I got upset I called the property they said they will find another agent and literally didn’t get back lol I even emailed condos.ca didn’t even get back. Anyway the whole company is a joke, I found another real estate company if anyone wants it it’s taza real estate they are very professional unlike them. Save your time guys find someone better then waiting for months to get back from them.

I’ve been recently been looking for a condo to rent in Toronto and found condos.ca very nice website and very easy to use to find what you are looking for. I found on their site a condo I thought I would be interested in , I filled out the requested information and the very next day was contacted by Fred, he asked what area I was interrested in and and how much I earn a year and what my credit score was and I let him know this information. The next day he sent me back an email with 3 condos that he thought I might be interested in, I asked asked him if the original condo I first asked him about was still available to which his reply was “ I will find out and get back to you “ . No reply ever came even a week after I sent another email letting him know that I never heard anything back even two phone calls with no response. Very disappointing service to say the least I can only assume they are not interested in helping renters as the service I received was very poor, I know if I ever provided that kind of service to the customers I deal in my line of work I would not have a job for very long. Avoid Condos.ca if you are a renter and looking for decent service. Maybe for buying and selling condos they are ok but not for renters.

We booked a few tours with condos.ca representative Arvin Reyes and he was extremely unprofessional. First of all, he was unresponsive over email and we had to send multiple emails from different accounts to hear back from him. He showed up 15 mins late to the tour and took us to view condos at times the tenants had asked not to have tours. He told us we had to talk to the tenants and ask them to let us in to see their home because he claimed they would not be accommodating to him. When we asked what amenities the buildings had, he simply replied "all of them".. even if the building did not have "all" of the amenities. He didn't take the time to actually explain the amenities and he waited in a separate room while we went to see them. The way he spoke to other people made us uncomfortable - he was very disrespectful and demanding to building staff and other people around. Overall we were very unhappy with our experience with Arvin and felt that he was not invested in finding us a place.

I found Anne through a condos.ca listing and the initial impressions were really positive as the upfront research was for the most part thorough. The one crucial thing overlooked in the eventual purchased unit was a lack of research regarding pet restrictions. In addition, I was left in limbo when it came to my offer being accepted for a lengthy period with minimal communication, based on being told my offer was accepted without having the documents signed (fault on selling agent too). Lots of last minute rescheduling of appointments after unit was purchased. Some other small issues that could have been avoided with a bit of due diligence.

Asking questions about a listing or setting up a viewing is like pulling teeth - brokers act like you're wasting their time and shouldn't even ask because they're too busy.

I used Condos.ca twice to rent a condo and it's the best site in the GTA to look for condos, with a lot of features to get alerts of new listings and customizable searches, I found what met my budget and needs and contacted them, they get back to you quickly and understand your need. My realtors were Haris and Rachel and they are both extremely helpful and professional and took me in their personal cars for free and showed me 3 and 4 apartments, Rachel also made sure to attend the signing meeting to make sure of my best interest as her client. my only nice-to-have ask is that the agent also comes on the key handling & final inspection and handling date (although this is not required from a realtor)

The following review will be quite lengthy, but it is an effort to showcase understanding of why we gave not only Condos.ca, but Michael Gauer five stars. Back in July 2018, my fiancé and I began looking for an area that would best suit our lifestyle as we transitioned from being university students, into young professionals. After much consideration and looking on Condos.ca we decided that Vaughan would not only be the best location for us, but so would a particular building. With this in mind we began to wait and see how prices varied as we saved for our first place together. In December I got a call from Michael inquiring about my condo search as I had been a member with Condo.ca for a while now. This call came not only at a perfect time but was surprising as he took the time to find us. Over time as we got to know Michael we felt not only that it would be a good fit for us, but that we were getting the best of the best to help start our new chapter. By this point we still had some time out from our prospective move in date. Michael was realistic and told us a time frame we should look out for so we would not get our hopes up or set on units and prices by looking too early. During this time, he stressed the importance of getting all documents together before we see a unit. From applications, to credit score, to pay stubs he wanted it all so he could get it all together into a neat bow ready to present when a place popped up for our potential move in date. Once we got all our documents in, this is where Michael leveled with us; and I 100% love that he was so honest and upfront. We are in a unique situation with career as a supply teacher where I cannot guarantee my work because I do not have a set salary; joys of occasional work. Even with all our documents being in tip top order, Michael told us that it could be harder because of our situation. This honesty, and realistic vision really made us feel confident that we had someone who was looking out for our best interests. From there Michael sent us listings and kept in constant communications at all hours, showing that he is dedicated to his craft and care for his clients. Moreover, as a result of his connections he was able to get us into the most spectacular unit at an amazing price. Even after we had signed the documents and dropped off the check Michael walked us through things we would need for the move in date. Finally, after moving in and settling in our new home, Michael continues to go the extra mile by checking in on us. From emails, to calls to text he wants to make sure that everything went smoothly. This extra care he took warms my heart because I know that we were helped by not only an amazing relator but an incredible person. I know that I will want to keep in touch with Michael not only professionally but personally. Overall, my fiancé and I give Condos.ca 5 stars because of its user friendly application, and because of the human element behind the website. But when it comes to Michael we would give him personally 10 stars if the system would allow it. No exaggeration or inflated words, Michael is incredible and if you ever get the opportunity to work with him I highly recommend it. Professional, honest and caring, Michael was able to make our future in our new home a reality, and I am forever grateful for the help. I will be sending all my friends in the city to him. Love the website and how it lost many units available for rent in the city! it's a great resource to give you ideas of how much the average rental price is for eg. A one bedroom. I'm really glad I used this website to find a unit. However, the only downside I experienced is the lack of communication between the representatives. I initially contacted an agent who was assigned to my profile only to find out two weeks later that they do not do showings for the area I was look. I was told my infor would be passed on to an agent that was assigned to that area and was never contacted. I reached out to other agents and still was told I would be contacted, never to hear from anyone. Eventually I just contacted the listing brokerages and went from there. It was a much easier process for me that way. Still the site is awesome!

I was trying to rent a condo through this website 3 years ago. I was working with Arvin and the guy was replying to my emails once a week and seemed not interested in me as a potential client. I decided to give this website another chance and inquired about some properties a few weeks ago. Unfortunately most of the properties has Arvin as the primary contact and he did not bother to reply again. I had to work with another agent to inquire about the properties. Either don't put this guy on so many advertisements or hire more people if he can't handle the workload.

Great website and good information, but their agents are the stupidest ones I’ve ever met! I’ve been buying and sell places for almost 2 decades and my 3 encounters with their agents have been horrible. Please do yourself a favor and pick someone from a more established brokerage that’s been around for a while. Try asking friends for people they have used that they were happy with.
