This was the first time we were working with a realtor in BC, so we didn’t really know what to expect. It was important that the realtor understood our budget, requirements and priorities. SO RAD. I'm from Vancouver and my hubby and I ( 2 kids and pooch!) were looking to purchase in the White Rock area... I was scouting cool places, which wasn't working, and on my way home i drove by a bus stop with a real estate add. This huge smiling face, looked like a rad nice dude, and big black phone number. Just gave it a go. I loved that he answered! It wasn't an office, although his add was pro, it's always just him on the other end each time I called. I let him know our situation, we chatted about mountain biking, mountain loving, great beer and life on the coast with family. Over the next week he sent us listings, we yeah'd and neah'd with him via email and picked a good 4 or 5 to go see. He texted us as it all came together and coordinated with each of the property contacts to get a schedule set up. We went from 1-4:30 ( brought the dog and babies) and went shopping. It was so awesome having an agenda, he had all the knowledge of keys and where the heck we were going.We just had to show up, convoy behind him and get our butts in the house as planned. It was pro, but laid back, he is such an awesome, charismatic communicator and really cared about our budget, what we needed/wanted - didnt want! I was super grateful for this and it reflected in the properties he sent us and we vetted through. It took a couple Saturday afternoons to really put the search time in, but he went above and beyond to make time for us, since we are near impossible to coordinate with! During the week he sent us new listings and kept us up to speed on the market and white rock beat. Joel is rad to hang with. You always want to give him high fives for some reason? He LOVES where he lives and you can feel it when your around him. We didn't end up buying in White Rock JUST YET, but we will. He continues to stay in touch, send emails, and send relevant listings our way. My advice, just give the rad smiling face a call!! He has solutions and will point you in the right direction for sure. We have learned a tun and are on the right track to buying soon!! And if anything, you can chat about mountain biking and sweet coast living and make a new friend :) #homesweethome Thanks again Joel !!!
