Buying our house with Dave at Lake City Realty was fabulous. We needed a larger home for our growing family and we were not sure exactly what we wanted. Dave took us through mutiple homes just to get a feel for what we liked and didn't. Dave was very thorough and had great attention to things we did not know to look for. When I decided to sell my house I asked around for someone to list it with. I interviewed a few realtors and decided to retain Kate Nelson because of her friendly and professional attitude. On our first meeting she talked me through the whole process and made sure that I understood what selling the house entailed. She also had the house staged so that it would show well. I enjoyed working with her and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking to sell or buy a house. She was always available to answer any questions or concerns I had. In the documentation that is left with the client, it would be helpful to have a list of steps to take and when to contact different agencies in regards to the sale of the property. For example: telephone company if you have a land line, internet provider, utilities, insurance company (not before closing is final), gas or oil company etc… This same list would be helpful for someone looking to buy a house, especially for a first time homebuyer.

My husband and I both grew up in the French River area and our families still live there as well as in the Greater Sudbury area. We left the area for work following our graduations from University. We both had great careers and two grown daughters. We started talking about moving back "home" at retirement but decided that there is no time like the present. We applied for jobs and decided that we would move if we could get new positions in Sudbury. We choose Lake City Realty because we were referred by friends of ours. Dave and his team are the most amazing getter done type of crew!! I have had the pleasure of using David's services on buying and selling a few times he and his teams knowledge and advice have been existential in the quick sale of our houses on 3 different occasions. His advice on what to repair what color to paint etc prior to selling us bang on.. might involve elbow grease and a couple of $ but to get a quick sale and top dollar its worth listening to. The professionalism, experience and his attention to detail really shows when listing your property with him, buying is the same experience HE really listens to you hears what you want and doesnt quit looking, he is a friend when the job is done.
