It's alright. They were patient and excepted partial payments on rent n deposit. Had to clean up the place myself and takes a while for them to come fix up past damages. I'm glad they accept pets which will soon be with me cause I miss them.

They wouldn't fix the house I rented off them at 654 Atlantic ave when it rains it pours all around the ceilings n basement so left it on the 9th of August since you wanna be slum lords that house should be condemned

I set up a time and date to view a place...not one of thwir ember agents showed up...noy one phoned me to tell me they werent coming....did not recieve a courteay call to apologize for wasting my time....this is a joke of a company and do not recommend them to anyone....apparently my time is not as importany as theirs.

As a cosigner I had helped my daughter find a place last summer for her her mom and sister. We had looked at a dump on 350 Boyd and though we did not like the place and the rep suggestion we put a hold deposit with Ember realty for the possibility of another place. She decided not to take the place as it's a dump and when we tried to go get the deposit the man at Ember said that she won't not be recieveing her 550 dollar deposit and was not to recieve any offers for other apartments, they would keep the deposit if we did not take the place. Horrible take the house or we keep the money you gave us to hold on trust. Extortion and theft. Over the year long lease contract the place on 350 Boyd had never been repaired for the damage from the previous renters which they claimed was taken place in the 2 weeks since the requested deposit. In a year they never fixed anything. See pics all damage from previous tenants whom we found out later had conveted the place into a Trap house for the sale and use of Crack and meth as the tenants below were also on the business as my daughter lived her. Since they left the downstairs empty apartment has been broken into alot for use as a trap house. Ember realty has refused to allow us out of the lease, has informed her that they plan to raise the rent. She pays 1150.00 a month for this dump. Ember realty has stolen and mislead amd endangered my 20 and 17 year old daughter for a year. Upon threat of ruination her rental history my daughter is anxious to just up and move. Ember Realty Group Ltd. are slum lord who exploit renters in this time of crisis and have chosen to profit during covid. Ember Realty Group Ltd are wretched and not worthy of trust.

Ember Realty group took over management of my home from another company soon after I moved in. I was at first very anxious about the change so soon after signing the lease. However, Ember Realty has been great, friendly, reasonable and repsonsive to emails and phone calls. My experience has been nothing but positive and if you are looking to move into a home managed by Ember Realty Group you will be in good hands.

Took over a building I rent in and completely ignored it. Didn't clean shared bathroom for months and left dozens of rotting bags of garbage in the main space (they are still there!) They refuse to answer requests about cleaning :( Horrible.

So, this company has tons of properties for rent. Some of which have been advertised for ever. I put in a general application so I wouldn't have to do multiple applications for various properties (their website advised me to do that) Two weeks later, I heard nothing. I then phoned to see if they processed my application, I was then asked to pass on my name and number and I would receive the next day. That was over a week ago. Anyhoo, long story short I found a place outside of Ember Realty. I wanted to write this review because it seems that Ember is a rental company that is responsible for renting out private residences. Basically, they are the middleman for people who want to rent their homes, but not have to deal with the responsibilities of being a landlord. If this company can't even be bothered to get back to me, or anyone else for that matter I would recommend staying away if you are a renter or someone who is thinking of putting their property as a rental with Ember.

Worst management company ever! Don’t fall on their customer service. They seemed very nice and friendly for customer service, saying they charge 8% for managing fees. Every month there’s a huge deduction on my tenants payment. “Service fees”.” Repairs”. I lived in the condo for 2 years and never a problem. I rent with them, they come with a deduction. I called them for an explanation and they tell me they will call back… 3 months in a roll that I have about 300 extra at least without an explanation and still no answers. DO NOT hire them!

Poor experience with them currently multiple times they have made us wait all day for them to come down to our place just for them not to show Now just this past weekend our duplex almost burnt down 3days later still waiting for them to check out our place for damages They said they did a drive by and the other place was bored up so they assumed it was all fine Didnt bother to come check out our place of if we were ok

For now i am giving this a 3 star rating but only because things are still needing to be finalized. Once completed my review will hopefully be switch to be a 5 start. So far we have had the pleasure of working with Dhalia in getting my son and his family moved into their new home. There were a few hiccups that were encountered along the way but Dhalia from Ember Realty has been prompt in all her correspondence with me and in getting issues addresses. She has been available pretty much at all times which is great considering all the other negative reviews i had seen about this company. There is still a list of repairs that need to be done but that has been handed over to the maintenance team and i am feeling confident that these will all get address and taken care of in a timely fashion. I hope all future dealings with Ember Realty will continue to be as smooth and seamless as it has been up until now with Dhalia. Thank you so much!!

Made an appointment to view a property two days in advance. Confirmed the appointment ahead of time on the day of. Messaged the company when I arrived- on time. Received no answer. Waited outside for 20 minutes. No one showed up. It’s now two and a half hours later, still no reply.

they take forever to respond to any messages. when i finally got ahold of them, i booked an appointment to view a house and waited for half an hour in my car in -40 for them not even to show up. i emailed the next day letting them know what happened but it’s been a week and still haven’t received a response. needless to say, i’m not interested in renting a house from them anymore if they’re already this poor at communication.

Worst realty group, I gave them security earlier and asked them some questions regarding house, they told all lie and took our security and when i went there to have look, it was so nasty and i asked them i don’t wanna rent it and asked for my security cash and refused to give me my money back although they gave fake details earlier. Everyone be careful when dealing with these nasty people.
