Although I had initially started looking at the County, I quickly spread my search across a lot more ground than anticipated, and Dale didn't hesitate for a second. I realize that this team has 5 Stars and they are all glowing reviews. Almost too good, am I right? I need everyone to realize that this is a real review by a real person. That's the reason why I will tell you everything they did wrong while handling our real estate transaction. 1. They pushed too hard and worked too eficiently. We needed to sell our house fast. They jumped right on it, setup contractors, photographers and pushed the schedule. So much so that we achieved the timeline and had our house listed perfectly. The problem is now my wife thinks that this is the way things work and continually questions why I have so many items on my to do list. It's seriously causing friction in our marriage. 2. They did too much. They made things incredibly awkward when they were organizing our things, vacuuming our floors and making our house look better than it ever has. Like what did they think? Are we not capable of doing things ourselves? 3. They sold our house for too much money. For real. I don't make as much money at my job than we did when selling our home. Now I have to look at a new career path. 4.They sold the house too fast. We barley got the chance to say goodbye! 5. They got us too good of a deal on our new home. We got so much house, with incredible potential and built so much equity in the deal it feels like I can get that kind of deal anywhere. My wife is incredibly embarrassed to goto the grocery store and whatch me try to haggle a good price on my onions. So, if you don't want to get the most out of your house, make the best possible deal on your purchase and deal with ambitious people. These are not the people for you. Absolutely terrible.

The two phrases "Too good to be true” and “There must be a catch” kept running through our heads. We couldn’t believe The County Guys were really putting this much effort into selling our house. We weren’t newbies when it came to selling a house with a realtor or even with a team of realtors, but none of our experience could have prepared us for The County Guys. The team of Aleks and Dale (and their partners) was something to behold and was a pleasure to watch. They each had their own special skill and swooped in at different stages of getting our house ready to sell. Not only did we get an experienced team of realtors when we hired The County Guys, but we also get a top-notch designer, a world-class home stager, an eye-catching marketer and a hands-on renovator. Aleks and Dale had a grand vision on how to turn our family home into a showpiece with a little renovation before we hit the market. Amy drew up the plan, Aleks walked us through the renovations and we said, “OK, lets do it!” Our house was about to be transformed! When we look back at the process, it seemed like in the blink of an eye, we went from a lived-in messy house with 3 teenagers to a magazine quality showpiece. Our listing pictures kept making us say, “pinch me, this can’t be our house”. We got multiple offers and within 3 weeks our house was sold for far more than we could have ever imagined. We would 100% recommend using The County Guys to find your property! They worked with us for MONTHS to find the very niche home that we were looking for, and not once pressured us into feeling like we had to buy something that didn't feel right. The property we ended up getting was because Dale found it and told us to come see it with him. We laughed and said "Dale we'll come but there is no way this will be the one." It was the one. "We listed with Dale and Aleks and our house sold for OVER ASKING in less than 2 weeks and for over $100k than we were going to list it for just 6 months before." We contacted Dale and Aleks after we saw SOLD signs outside of houses that had been on the market for multiple summers. It seemed that they were able to sell properties that others simply hadn't been able to, and we were intrigued -- what did they have that other agents didn't? I'll tell you: they see the beauty and potential in your house and BRING IT TO LIFE, making it irresistible. They put together a design plan, hire reliable contractors and tradespeople to complete the work (whether it's a full kitchen reno, touching up paint and creating flawless ceilings, and even wedding gardens), and then stage your home. I don't know where you find this anywhere else. And side from the actual contract work, this is all included in their fees -- which are standard. For our house personally, they consulted and recommended various enhancements to get top dollar for our home and we chose which was in our budget and timeframe. Once we picked what we wanted to do, they organized everything: gardening, carpet cleaning, ceiling repair, painting, woodwork to finish projects, and deep cleaning. They even loaned us a sander and brought us a load of moving boxes and packing tape to help us get a jump start. Once our enhancements were complete, their skilled in-house interior designer took our house to the next level with staging. They brought everything they wanted to use - we didn't spend even a single cent on staging. It's really no wonder that our house sold for OVER ASKING in less than 2 weeks and for over $100k than we were going to list it for in March. Dale and Aleks are hands-on and extremely thorough from getting to know you and your property, understanding what potential buyers want, making sure everything is in tip top shape (without overwhelming you), and making sure that you get the best deal possible. I would list with them over and over and over again. 1000% would recommend!

We are a family from Toronto that absolutely fell in love with the gorgeous Prince Edward County a few years ago so we figured why not buy a place there since we visit so frequently.
