As a first time home buyer, with very limited knowledge of the market and home buying process, you need someone who has the experience, the expertise and most importantly an empathy for your needs and restrictions. Ali, who helped us through this journey, is a shining embodiment of all these virtues and was to us what every home buyer would want from their realtor - a good friend! We first heard of PPS Realty through a colleague who had great things to say about Ali and his professionalism. As a skeptic by nature, I was not expecting much from my first phone call with Ali. However, from the moment Ali picked up my call, he was that "friend of a friend" and provided us with the tools and instructions to get started on our "first home" search without being pushy. We knew that day, Ali was the guy. From then on, over the course of 4 weeks, Ali helped us with multiple viewings (sometimes outside normal hours of the day which helped us with our offer presentations), offer presentations and finally, with securing the property that we really loved and wanted to call our home. Even with our final offer presentation, I believe that it was Ali's professional work ethic and excellent relationship with his fellow realtor which tipped the scale in our favor - this was confirmed later in the closing stages where the seller as well as the selling agent expressed their pleasure and happiness working with Ali. Also, Ali's excellent network of brokers, inspectors, lawyers etc. ensured that we didn't have to hunt for trustworthy people - our closing went through without a single hiccup and all of the professionals we used were partners of PPS Realty. I cannot close this review without mentioning about PPS Realty's payback policy - since we were able to find and close on a home within the first 20 homes we viewed, we received a cheque (rebate of 50% commission) within 2 weeks of closing. When you buy homes in Toronto / MIssissauga, that cheque can be pretty substantial :) We would recommend Ali to anyone for his consummate professionalism (in fact we have already referred him to our family).
