Review from a seller’s standpoint Unprofessional. Aggressive. Harassment. If that’s the type of person you want to represent you, then go for it....maybe you’ll win a bidding war. But, they’ll make you look bad by having very poor communication skills since they don’t know how to work well with other people. Jaimie seems to enjoy threatening innocent people that have a newborn and held a package that accidentally went to the old address. He kept the package inside the home we no longer owned as leverage ( felony ) because we had a few pieces of trash in the garage Threatened to come to our new home and dump the few pieces of trash on our property when it was already paid to be removed. Just not a good situation with this agent....so disrespectful....

My experience with Borden Real Estate was very unprofessional! I was on the selling side of the encounter with Borden where I sold a home to one of his clients. During our move out of the house we were selling we obviously had a lot of trash and items that needed to be discarded from the move. We closed on a Monday on both the sell and the buy of our new home. Before closing we took all the trash out of the house that could be thrown away in normal trash cans (garbage, small household items) and placed them on the curb because trash day was Tuesday morning. There were other items that couldn’t be thrown away in normal trash like a headboard, vacuum cleaner, glass shower doors, and a cat tower, so we paid for extra trash pickup that was to be picked up at the earliest time which was Friday ($100 for the extra pickup). We then let our agent know this and the message was relayed to Borden real estate via phone call. After we left the house, the new buyers came to do a walk through. We vacuumed the house the best we could during our chaotic moving day with 2 dogs, a cat, and a 2 week old baby. The new homeowners and Borden real estate complained that the house was not clean enough and that it needed to be taken care of. So I hired a professional cleaner, of their choice, to come and clean the house which I did not have to do ($300). Friday, 4 days after our closing on both homes, came and went and I assumed everything was all good. I receive a text from my agent 7 days after we closed saying that the bigger pieces of garbage was still there in the garage. All the new homeowners had to do was take the pieces down to the curb, 15feet from the garage to be picked up on Friday, 4 days after we closed. I guess that never happened. I’m not sure if they expected me to drive up to the house that I no longer owned and break into the garage to take the pieces out or what but it was never taken outside. Those pieces couldn’t have been left out from Monday because of the association, that’s why they were left in the garage. I then learned later that the new homeowners weren’t moving in until spring, which isn’t my problem. So that’s why the trash was never brought out to the curb. The realtor, I believe his name is Jamie, was constantly emailing and calling my realtor and threatening my realtor saying that the trash needs picked up ASAP or he will rent a trailer, and load all the stuff up and drop it on my front lawn. Among all this nonsense, we had a gift for our newborn that was delivered to our old address. The new homeowners, or Jamie, placed the package inside the garage. I know this because I went to get it from the old address and it was nowhere to be found, So I called my agent. My agent gave me Jamie’s phone number and I decided to call him to get our package. When he answered the phone and I told him about my package, he began talking about the trash in the garage. He said that it was never picked up, I then informed him that we already paid for it to be picked up and we would not pay for it again. He then threatened me with bringing it to my front yard and dumping it. He also threatened to hold my package for my newborn baby ransom until the trash was removed which is a felony. He was very aggressive on the phone with me and my realtor and simply acted unprofessional. My realtor had enough of his attitude and drove up to the house we sold, closed on over a month ago, and loaded all the stuff in his personal vehicle along with my package. Absolutely unbelievable that it came to this and Jamie was so unprofessional. I would not recommend anyone work with this guy. Extremely rude. I wanted to leave with this one last statement just in case anyone missed it. We had already closed on the house. The papers were signed, and I no longer lived there. The house is no longer my responsibility. If it wasn’t for Jamie holding my package ransom, that stuff would’ve never been picked up by us because it’s not my problem anymore. It’s not my problem that the trash didn’t make it out to the curb.
