I apologize this has taken so long! Kaleb became our realtor after we sent an email about a house in Orillia in the fall 2019. Within minutes of sending that email, which was about 2000 at night, we get a phone call from Kaleb wanting to set up a time to view the house. He asked if we had a realtor, we did not. So after the viewing my husband, Kaleb and I talked for over an hour. We liked his energy, he was down to earth and personable. Kaleb became our realtor after that night. We had a feeling our landlord was going to be selling the house in 2020, they said they had to figure out which one to sell in 2020. So in the fall we were taking our time looking at houses. Kaleb sometimes adjusted his schedule to fit in with our different schedules when they had conflicts. In December 2019 we were told our landlords would be selling the house we were in, and hoping for February for the house to be on the market. So we then had to move fast, look at houses that weren't really suited for our 6 person family. We had to increase our budget, and looked at houses all the way from Utterson, Gravenhurst, Midland, Penetanguishene, Orillia a few times. A lot of houses we wanted to look at were conditionally sold. It was nerve wracking that we had to be out of the house we rented very soon and no real leads/firm offers on a house to buy. I personally was hoping to be in a house in Jan 2020 or sooner as I started school full time Jan 2020, I wanted one less stress to deal with, but life doesn't work that way! We ended up looking at another house in Orillia the end of December 2019, put in an offer the next day. Within a few days we were told we were the one who they accepted the offer! Finalized the offer the beginning of January 2020 and the house was ours the middle of February! Finally homeowners, which I didn't think would ever happen! We had a family crisis that landed my husband in the hospital the end of January into February for a couple of weeks. So when Kaleb, my in laws and I did the final walk through, my husband wasn't there, Kaleb said my husband would be in his thoughts, and we would hold off on the sold sign picture until my husband was out of the hospital. Kaleb also gave us a house warming basket, it was super thoughtful! If we had any questions, we knew Kaleb wouldn't be annoyed, he is super easy to talk to, and we are both sad that our "relationship" ends after the house is sold. We will definitely use Kaleb again the next time as well, and will recommend him to anyone who is selling or buying! :D

We were able to come up with ways to minimize as much as possible potential exposure even before the real estate boards and government came up with their recommendations and then mandates around real estate transactions during covid. These even mirrored quite closely to what Kaleb and I had discussed and what standardized for Others coming into our home and to allow us to attend showings. *Working with Kaleb was very much like an ideal collaborative journey to find just the right home for our family. He was great at guiding and steering the process because right from the start he took the time to truly hear and understand what my families unique needs/wants/hopes and circumstances were so that he could efficiently and effectively point us to new home possibilities that beautifully fit with our criteria for our ideal new home. *Kaleb also answered so many questions I had and he never left me wondering Or guessing what to expect next. SELLERS BEWARE – STREETER TEAM COULD STEAL YOUR DREAM I tried to buy a house that Alexandra Jackson on Kaleb’s team listed for sale in Washago. I made numerous offers while Alexandra lowered the price from $699k to $599k to $495k and finally sold it for $400k all while she knew I would gladly pay $450k for the same house. If you plan to sell your home the last person I would recommend is Alexandra Jackson who was too lazy or too incompetent to bother notifying my agent of the last offer that was registered denying me an opportunity to buy and denying her clients the opportunity to choose from all offers vs one lowball. What’s even worse is that each time there was new offer activity on this house Alexandra would notify my agent as an interested party to ensure everyone had the benefit of the same info and opportunity to bid EXCEPT for the last time when she recommended her clients take a quick and quiet stand alone offer for so much less than the ask it's astounding. I don’t know Kaleb and maybe he’s great but all I can say is stay far away from junior Alexandra Jackson. I don’t think there’s any agent in all of Ontario that could take a house in this hottest of hot markets and drop the price 3 times and then sell it for 43% less than the original asking price, WOW how does one do that. Oh did I mention this was a waterfront house connected to Lake Couchiching and that her poor clients were a sweet retired couple in their 90’s that trusted her and took this awful deal on her word “it was the best anyone would offer.” Do yourself a favour and be sure to hire a competent realtor and don’t entrust the largest investment of your life to someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing. Kaleb, in response to your "I'm really sorry..." what Alexandra on your team did was in direct violation of your code of ethics and potentially criminal so thank you for the sweet apology but sugar coating this with a nice little sorry only adds insult to injury. If you were sincere about wanting to fix this you would make Alexandra's clients whole on the $50,000 she shorted them so thanks for the "I'm really sorry" but it accomplishes nothing. It appears you're underestimating the gravity of the situation. RECO complaint has been filed while other options are being explored.
