Horrible Customer Service, just like everyone else rated.Their customer service seems to be under-staffed and the communication is horrible. Or maybe i am the unlucky 1% that experienced their services and the other 99% are okay. I don't know. From occupancy date to now for about 1 week, all I wanted to know is when the service appointment is scheduled. Site super doesn't answer phone calls and head office has no clue on schedule. It takes a couple ugly conversations to get the repairs done and finally can live in. This is not my first home but this is the worst customer service i've seen.

Very slow in responding to issues and fixes. I have been calling and reporting a leak for over a month and just got an inspection scheduled yesterday. Still no clear answer on next steps at all, so back to waiting mode....

Only builder that installs toilet roll fixtures and towel fixtures only to remove them before the house closes. U just can't make this stuff up. I dare U too. I can go on, and on but its disappointing too.

Have a home in whitby. I have a horrible experience with loose and hallow tiles in the kitchen, never fixed flickering ceiling lights, inclined floor, installed wrong pot lights etc. it is been 2 years but the light problem is not been solved. Finishing molding and tiles are awful. Over priced fishing. Very unprofessional.

Purchased a new unit at 85 Duke Street West in Kitchener, Ontario back in 2010. We didn't get out units until 2015, and then 8 months of occupancy. The quality of the building is horrible, no hot water and water shut down are a monthly occurrence. I owned the second smallest unit and my maintenance fee's were $438/mth. The building had 1 amenity which was a party room and 3rd floor roof patio. No gym, no pool, no games room. Would not recommend any house or building from this builder.

I have worked with other builders, and i can confidently say ANDRIN is the CHEAPEST builder i have EVER seen and heard of! they charge way over market value and EVERY little thing is an "upgrade" They cheap out in anything you can possibly think of......DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS BUILDER!!!!!!!

I recently rented a condo apartment in Kitchener (City Centre) under the Andrin Home management company. I had a worst experience with them that's why I am writing this review. There was some water leakage problem from the washing machine and the water spread inside the wooden floor, as a result wherever I was stepping water was coming out. I informed the whole issue to Andrin a lot of time as I was experiencing through call and emails including the higher level management people but didn't receive a single response from them. Evan if I was able to reach out to them through phone call they talk in a different direction instead of trying to fix the problem. They always talk in lots of political terms. The water got spread to my whole floor. I spent almost 1 week with that condition, with the wet floor. After that it’s slowly get dried but damaged the whole floor. Still I didn't receive any response from them not sure whether they will fix it or not. Stay away from this builder. Customer service is the worst - they don't reply to your emails or show that they care, despite so many issues in your home.

one of the worst builders to ever exist. they have 1 lady handling all customer service and its terrbile. THE QUALITY is the worst. waving ceilings, cracking cornerbeads, terrible paint, cheap materials, exterior fascias and boards falling off, etc. You have no one to talk to after the sale DO NOT BUY

Terrible experience with this Builder. Lacks a variety of finishes. Over-priced finishes. Poor quality of construction, workmanship and installation of finishes. No apparent communication between builder, trades and suppliers resulting in lots of defects that we noted on our Pre-delivery inspection and 30 day forms with Tarion. Countless follow up appointments to fix said defects often result in no-shows with no explanation. If we didn't hire a home inspector, we wouldn't have known about so many other issues wrong with the house. I can go on but I won't. Just heed my warning that you will be very disappointed and frustrated with the experience if you purchase from this Builder.

Have a home in Hillsborough East Gwillumbury. This company is like a Greek Tragedy. Everything gets worse and worse. No follow ups, poor service, communication is awful. I had to file for conciliation for them to finally reach out and do something. Completely regret purchasing this home. Ended up being homeless for over a month because of delays that they blamed on electricians strike. My home wasn't wired and I was supposed to close in on 4 weeks. Then major rush to get it all done and they can get their money. Hopefully value goes up and I can sell the place, won't be buying from this company or any of its affiliates ever again.

We bought house in Holland landing, horrible builder, lots of extra charges,. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Forget calling and asking customer service for anything at all you will be ignored. This is the absolute worse experience ever and the company really does not care about you at all. And I agree with all the other people who say their house is a mess. After spending hours cleaning the floors and carpets lot of garbage inside the ducts, broken windows ....and lot of more STAY AWAY !!! Very expensive water tank !!

I bought home from this builder in 2019. I can say Andrin Home is one of the worst builder in industry in terms of customer service, material and workmanship. The bathrooms had no fixture such as towel hanger or toilet paper holder, shower ceilings was rough and bumpy with no plaster and paint, vanity sinks are loose , vanity drawer could not be close because of bad plumbing ,steps on stairs has many scratches, loose subfloors, many areas of the house was not painted properly, basement full of of construction debris, The duct work was very bad, no caulk around the showers. Think about this that on PDI we found more than 50 deficiencies. there were so many missing items. No soffit under the gutters , No downspout in the front and side of the house. And there are many other issues. The staff turnaround time in this business is very short as such the customer service is disaster. There are many complain about this builder to the Tarion. They have only one handyman which takes months to respond to the customers needs. This business is more like a subcontractor than a builder. Whatever you see on their website is not true. The don't care about their customers. Those who bought home from this builder Knows what I am talking about. I did not do my due diligence about this builder and I paying the price. They don't have a respect for environment. They burry plastic material and construction debris under ground when they do the grading to save costs associated with collecting them. They are absolutely not a green builder. Unfortunately the system is so corrupt to allow them to call themselves winner of so and so without checking their work. Thy rip their customers when it comes to upgrade. I am not against make money But I expect that the builders be reasonable. First the material that they provide as an standard options are very cheap. That makes you to go for upgrade. Here they suck your blood, the cost of upgrades are very high. Here is some example; To upgrade from 12X12 tile to 12X24 for 300 sqf will cost you $20/sqf that is only for material because the labor is the same. To upgrade 8f ceiling to 9f will cost over $15000. Stairs stain over $1000 and there are so many other things. You can go to their décor center and check for yourself. Bottom line do some research before buying home from this business. BUYER BE AWARE.

I bought a home in the Hillsborough Community. The home was delayed multiple times, then rush finished. Overall the home is nice per the floorplan, but…. At PDI we identified 70+ items which were not completed or needed to be fixed. The PDI Inspector (paid by Andrin) said these would be taken care of before and shortly after Closing. After Closing, we found that only ¼ of the PDI items were taken care of. Andrin Service folks removed all the green tape indicating that they addressed al the items – did they really think I wouldn’t notice? After moving in, I listed the same and some more defect items on the 30-day Tarion warranty. Some issues have been fixed and others fixed to be worse that before the work was done. Other items are just not being addressed by Andrin. Andrin Customer Service @ Hillsborough are doing bare minimum. Calling out Tracy and Brian as the main Hillsborough Customer Service folks who are ruining the Andrin name. They do not return emails or phone calls. I’m now at the Tarion Conciliation stage, and Andrin Service (Tracy and Brian) do not seem to care. I even contacted Andrin head office and let them know of the situation, but they don’t seem to care either. It seems that the Tarion review being conducted by the Government is well-timed showing that something is wrong with Tarion protection to Home owners. Hopefully there will be changes so that Builders like Andrin get their act together by being held accountable by Tarion.

Updated: It was two stars. I raised it to 3. In the fall of 2019, they made a concerted effort to fix our house and did not argue too much over what was warrantable. In June of 2020, they were accommodating enough to fix shifting tile floors which was a great concern to my wife and I even though they did not have to. Updated: It was 3 stars. I've lowered it to two. Why? First, they build a below average home, and now they are glacially slow to fix it. We took possession Mid-November and our 30-day changes still have not been addressed, and their customer service has been disappointing to say the least. Let’s add some nuance to the conversation about how bad Andrin is: 1. Their advertising is deceptive and confusing. When we bought in fall of 2015, they advertised a 2400 on a 38’ lot for around 640K. I do not believe the day we bought that such a house was available. They offered us these Bravo houses but there is no info on Bravo floor plans on the website. Their advertising information is confusing and conflicting. To be fair, they are not the only ones. 2. I do not like the upgrade and colour selection process. Andrin will not explain clearly how it works. They give you only 2 hours to make all these big decisions. If you want to prepare for all these big decisions before hand, no one is there to help you. If you want to take a look at your colour options, you can on the weekend and no one is there to help you through all the confusing choices. 3. We just did our PDI. We had really low expectations. The person they hired genuinely wanted to help you be happy with your house. I thought the process would be more confrontational. They forgot to install a gas line and the garage was unfinished. However, the interior was generally well done and not the horror stories described in previous reviews. 4. We lived in the house for over two months now. If you think there is something urgent and pressing that needs to be looked at right away, the builder will say the right things but are generally slow to act. Bottom line: Andrin is not THAT bad … at least in our experience. They seem to “eventually” build you a decent home. In Holland Landing, Andrin was 10,000 to 200,000 more affordable than the competition. If you shop at No Frills, you should not have Longo’s expectations.

I can't believe the bad publicity on the board here. I bought Andrin in Glenway estates and moved in a month ago. Customer service is spot on. All Terion issues were delt with within the 30 days. Quality of the the home is good. I didnt buy a custom home so dont excpect a multimillion dollar finish. Everything from the brickwork to inside finishes are satisfactory. The floors dont squeek thanx to the upgraded floor system they used. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from this builder again. This builder doesn't deserve the low marks people have posted here. Well, people write different things about Andrin's quality of workmanship. There are only facts: Negative: 1. Bricklayers used different brick colours while finishing one of the houses at the Holland Landing site. 2. Framing was done with molded studds. 3. They used wrong type of tiles in the foyer and bathroom. 4. Did not make a ventilation shaft for a dryer in the laundry room. 5. Delayed the closing date 2 times. Positive: 1 Girls at the Sales Office were more than helpful. Unfortunately, their help extended only to sending e-mails and verifying paperwork. 2 Customer service responded quickly about the molded studds, but not all of them were replaced. The house is still not completed. 4 months to go,. Hopefully, no more surprises. Though, with this builder anything can happen. It seems, they go with the market, since they think people will buy any garbage now So, buyers, be more vigilant and serious about your investment, even if it is a temporary one. Keep builders in line with the Canadian standards, do not agree for less!!!! Educate yourself a little bit! Good luck!

My parents bought a house from this builder. They had UPGRADED their windows to be oversized. The house is built. There is a window on the front of the house that is not only NOT oversized, but SMALLER than all the other houses of the same elevation and model. When confronted with this error, they claimed that they had made a mistake on all of the other houses and the window that got installed on my parents' house is actually the correct size. Really!?!?! When asked for the blueprints, they were unable to produce the blueprint for us to look at. Andrin Homes, what you've done is absolutely despicable. Own up to your mistake and fix it, or compensate the buyers.
