Jennifer is relentless! She won't stop until you have found exactly what you're looking for- (with her help of course). Jen drove us around in her little orange Chevy to about 50, or maybe 60 houses, until we settled on one we really liked and within our (limited) budget. On our fourth outing with Jen, I actually wondered if she will continue helping us, got a little embarrassed and gave her my really sad pouty look and said "we need to see more". Jen accommodated us for several more outings. At our home of choice, Jen negotiated the price for us, and got the deal exactly right. We asked for additional discounts- and she got that too. Not bad! Jen is quite knowledgeable in her field, and guided us through all the steps with a top notch level of professionalism. She is very easy to get along with. Shaun Thoms was the selling agent for our new home. He was on vacation for a large part of the time when we were purchasing and through the close date. The agent that was filling in for him did much of the work. The property was left with A LOT of junk (inside and out) and fixtures on the property were taken from the house. After contacting Shaun Thoms repeatedly, he is largely unapologetic and has a poor attitude about the entire situation. I would strongly recommend to anyone that wants to have a smooth move to not use this realty group; I surely never will again.

Jen Bedard What can we say about Jen that will allow one to see how pleased both Fred and myself are with the excellent service that she provided to us! So many things in fact! We met Jen several months prior to our finally finding the house that we were looking for. Make no mistake, Jen’s work was cut out for her! We had a very long list of boxes that we wanted/needed to be checked off if we were going to be able to consider a house. When we met Jen at an open house, we had not yet put our long time family home on the market in Hamilton. We were in the midst of preparing it for sale … heart wrenching for me, but we were about to retire and needed to downsize. So Jen spent an initial first day with us, introducing us to the Niagara region in several areas as we were not certain exactly where in the region we wanted to eventually live. Over the next few months, while we prepared and put our house on the market, she took us to view homes between Lake Ontario and Lake Erie and everywhere in between. I personally had an inground pool on my wish list. I really didn’t feel that we would be able to find a home that would fit all our demands AND a pool … but Jen never gave up on my little dream … she of course advised us to look at all possibilities with or without the pool, which we appreciated as anyone who has purchased a home knows that one must be flexible and consider all options and be open minded yet firm in your expectations. Jen was ever so patient with our search. As it turned out, our house in Hamilton due to its uniqueness took quite a while to sell, and in that time period Fred and I changed our search criteria a few times in terms of area. One would think that would test Jen’s patience ... but no! She took it in her stride and kept the search going. At that point we were feeling very appreciative of the time she had thus far spent with us. We do believe truly that she had gone above and beyond the call of duty when it came to her time that she so graciously gave us. We are very aware that we are probably her longest searching clients! In the end, we are SO very pleased with the house we finally found! It checks off ALL the boxes! (My husband is now going to be my new pool boy!) There are no words that would suffice to thank Jen for all the time and hard work she put into our house search. Moving from one city to another that you are not familiar with is rather overwhelming and you worry about whether you are making the right decision. But Jen’s extensive knowledge of the Niagara region and always keeping our needs and desires in mind really culminated in our purchasing this new home for us.
