I was interested as a buyer and wanted to see a viewing, without my agent being present as I would prefer to make final decisions myself. Todd mentioned I would have to sign papers and an agreement because I was not a professional agent and therefor I could not view the listing at the homesite. I have gone to several viewings with other selling agents without my agent and none of them have asked me to sign anything nor did they turn away my request at wanting to view the listing. I feel something fishy is going on, especially with the listing the place was offered for in a highly acclaimed area. It is probably a sales tactic to weed out the fair priced affordable buyers from the rich and wealthy. Price point is probably much higher than the actual listing. Fishy I say!

Would have lost a lot of money if I listened to him. I took about 20% of his showings myself because he couldn't attend. When I didn't take his direction on pricing he took his sign away and began to de-list my property without my permission. My listing was removed from his website but my home sold anyway for the price I wanted. Regarding his assistant who did not want to take a message from me - she needs to be reminded that the commission from the sale of my home pays both their salaries. Sellers won't always be providing compliments but providing timely feedback on the costly experience of selling their home. Her job is to take the information forward and not to take the stance of "don't want to get in the middle of a beef". Can't recommend him for sellers. Probably better for buyers. That work is easier. Interesting commentary from Todd Connor. In responseto unreasonable commentary I add the following: 1. This realtor insisted on a 6 month contract and arrived unannounced in January (month 4) with a document which indicated that I was requesting the property be delisted. I understand that Todd was frustrated because I would not continue to lower my price (it was dropped 3 months prior) or entertain "low-ball" offers. I did not sign the document. This upset Todd further and he went ahead and removed my listing from his web site and pulled his sign out of the snowbank that same day. It was an unfortunate decision for Todd despite the cost of maintaining the listing on MLS it would have been better for him to defer to the wishes of the seller. He did his best to ensure his interests with a clause that said although he was't my agent if my property sold within 60 days he would collect a full commission. A substantial sum of money given this was a house in the GVRD. 2. The next day he presented an offer after telling me he was "stepping away from my listing". Some commented that he was harassing me with these sales tactics. 3. In the meantime, another interested buyer contacted me and that is the reason the house sold above asking. It had nothing to do with Todd. 4. Todd wanted to know why I accepted the lower offer because the first offer he presented was a few thousand dollars higher. That offer would have put my tenants out on the street. The other offer wanted to keep the tenancy as is. It was an easy decision. 5.When the house sold he needed to flyer the neighbourhood because he removed his sign when he decided to delist my property. 6. I refused to be pressured by this realtor into lowering my asking price or accept unreasonably low offers and in the end the buyer, the tenants and the seller were extremely happy. 7.The 3 star rating was way too generous.

My mother in law needed help to sell her home in Coquitlam and we contacted Todd for help last spring and he was outstanding. We spoke with Todd and then met with him at mom’s home. He spent hours answering our questions, providing objective data regarding how many homes they sell, how long their listings typically stay on the market, and providing tons of info on competitions in the area. Todd made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps many other Realtors don't (but should), like having a pro come and give us staging tips, having professional photographs taken, and a lot more.
