When you’re looking for a realtor in Moncton, the only choice is Mike! His care and attention through the entire buying journey was unbelievable. The thing that sets Mike apart is that he truly CARES for his clients, as if they were family. We had been on the hunt for nearly a year and Mike was patient, always willing to go out of his way and accommodate a showing at the last minute. Given the current market, speed was of the essence in many cases and his willingness to drop it all and make it happen is second to none. Mike took the time to understand our needs, which changed throughout the course of our search, and help to guide is when we ran into road blocks (including a couple of offers). He comes with a (digital) rolodex of experts that can help get any question answered if he doesn’t know it himself. What can I say? Mike is great. . Just kidding. I can rave all day about how our whole family has come to love uncle Mike! Here is our experience with him: He came highly recommended, and was the first one to reach out to me when he found out we were interested in buying a house from out of province. He has helped many families before, especially in buying a house site unseen. I had tried to connect with a handful of realtors from the area and they were mostly dismissive. But Mike was wonderful. He knew we were also researching Saint John and Fredericton, he even connected us to realtors in those cities. He was after our best interest, wherever we would be happy. He would humbly say, over and over, "I'm just glad to help." When it came time to looking at houses, I was anxious about not being there personally to see them. Mike specialized in virtual tours, sending us videos that were so detailed and unedited, that you felt you were right there with him. He showed all the aspects of the house, the good and bad, the streets, neighbourhood, traffic noise, things that would need repairs, etc. He specifically asked what was important to us, and he made sure to cover those first and foremost. (In our case, a family-friendly neighborhood, close to an elementary school, and amenities, with a treed lot). Not knowing the city and areas at all, this was key to our happiness. I didn't want to be stuck in a pretty home if it was not safe for my young family. He would send us 3 or 4 virtual showings per day. From the dozens of properties we were interested in, he helped us narrow down our choices by answering questions about surrounding communities, amenities, utilities, heating options, language barriers, summer and winter weather, the city vs suburb vs rural life. If there was something he did not know the answer to, he would find out for you, or give you referrals to those who can better help. He was always a message or a phone call away. Quick to respond, and honest, too. If he would be away, he would tell you in advance, and it would be to spend time with his young family, too. You can tell from the get-go how important family is to him, and we loved that about him. That he is interested in what is best for our family, too. When closing day came, he knew we had just completed a rough two days on the road. He was very accomodating and understanding. He even recommended the best local diner to wait out the hours until we received the house key. It was a joyous moment for us, and he was right there beside us, celebrating. His genuineness, openness, modesty and warm personality are the cherry on the cake. We are very grateful to have him as our realtor. With Mike's help, we found our dream home, in the dream province of NB. Thanks God for people like him who make such a crazy, daunting experience, be so smooth, enjoyable, exciting, and memorable all at the same time! If you're still reading this far, good on you, but really, don't hesitate. If you're coming from the same boat as us, out-of-province, and looking at Moncton area, he's your realtor.
