I sold my house in Penticton, decided to move to Nanaimo, it is very difficult looking for a home when living at such distance. However Brooke Haxton really helped me through this trying time. She went out of her way to make sure that every detail was taken care of. There were a lot of phone calls back and forth, she was more than happy to accommodate every question and really eased my mind through it all. Thank you Brooke for everything!!!

I found it frustrating that they remove the for sale sign right after you buy a home. Part of the excitement of buying a home is seeing that SOLD sign in front of it. Being able to take a picture of it and brag about buying the home. I have driven around town and cant find one sold sign to even take a picture of it to pretend its for my house. :(

When our family decided to make the move from the mainland to the island, we ended up speaking with several island-based realtors. All were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, but Feron Walker at 460 really stood out. She first took the time to get to know our family and identify our priorities and wishlists for a new home. She genuinely cared about us, and made sure we all had a chance to outline our needs and preferences. She took our family all over Nanaimo, Lantzville and Nanoose Bay, showing us at least a dozen homes. Her insight into the communities was invaluable; particularly since we were quite unfamiliar with the different neighborhoods. She steered us away from several listings that were on our list, and added others that weren't, based on our family's requirements and preferences. She ultimately coached is through the offer and negotiation process (which is actually quite different from how deals are typically done on the mainland), and helper us secure our favorite property...we can hardly wait to come back permanently! I'd highly recommend Feron and the 460 team to anyone in need of a realtor; especially for folks new to the area.

She noticed the little things we didn't see and helped us find the right house. Feel confident in buying with Shannon and 460! They have a really nice office and they know people... neither of us had ever purchased a house before and Shannon was great with explaining and teaching us about how the process works. She helped us at literally every stage, even when we felt guilty for phoning her too much.
