I had low expectations, after they wouldn't even return my calls for the first place I was interested in. The second place, me and my realtor were there for the opening viewing, waiting on time outside with around 10 other people. The realtor showed up around 15 minutes late, and it was clear it was her first time seeing the place, and she hadn't even read the basic overview. She was telling people it didn't come with a parking space (it did), and was getting more details wrong than she was right. I felt bad for the owner who chose this team to sell their place. They got ripped off bad. You can't even show up to places on time, return calls, or know anything about the units? How are you in business?

UPDATE 2020-07-06: whoa ! putting down private information about sale is so unprofessional is crazy and is a big breach of privacy - these guys are bunch of unethical crooks.. here is the last email you sent to us to convince us to sign off on the deal and you called us on a phone to tell us that its all confirmed and deal will close August 4th: --------- Hello Alex and Virginia, Please find attached the 2 documents that I will be sending Alex for electronic signature. One is the notice of fulfillment of conditions and the second one is the amendment to change the signing date from September 4 to August 4. Thank you, Catalina Camacho Directrice Exécutive d'inscriptions & Courtier immobilier commercial et résidentiel Bureau d'Amy Assaad --------- Horrible sale process.. it seems like they have no idea what they are doing.. if I were foreign buyer or seller or even local I would be very careful with working with them as they cost us money in legal fees, money to be lost from condo rental, condo fees, and mortgage costs. Amy has her minion agents running around without any idea what they are doing.. After speaking to her about it, she says you know my agent's first language is Spanish so her English is not very good. Excuse me but we have hundreds of thousands of dollars at stake - her agents better be able to speak good English.. I have to say, that the entire situation/transaction has been nothing but stress and disappointment to no end. I would like to explain that when Catalina sent us the documents to sign, she attached a note saying that the documents were for the change to August 4. She only clarified last Monday (20 days after signing) that the buyers had never signed the document agreeing for the date. With regards to communication, Amy Assaad and Catalina was absolutely not clear during the negotiation process (we were never advised that there was a deadline and again we were never told that the date change had not been signed - as a matter of fact we didn’t hear from Catalina again until we called her regarding the documents that we were getting ready to send to the notary) We feel that we were misled and the actions of the agents involved was completely unprofessional and unethical. If we had known that August 4 was not agreed on - we would not have signed the documents and would have moved on from negotiations. We feel that the actions were completely unethical and to that, we have endured much stress financially and emotionally.

Was interested in a rental listing last year, tried calling multiple times, left multiple messages and a few weeks later, they message me saying it's already rented out... One year later (July 2021) that same rental listing i was extremely interested in was JUST posted on Centris as a new rental property. I called to make sure to be one of the first people to schedule a viewing and potentially sign a lease, but same story. Left messages and told them that this happened before and I really want her to call me back.... NOTHING!! I still haven't received a call back. I ended up signing a new lease elsewhere. Horrible and frustrating. Everytime I see a listing with her name on it, I don't even bother anymore. She will never get back to your calls or messages... Not sure why people chose her and her team to get new tenants (or buyers) if she never gets back to you!! Would definitely not recommend her or her team AT ALL!

I already knew her name through the strategic ad exposure she is buying for her clients and through the articles she is writing in the Gazette, but the main reason I contacted her was because she sold my neighbor's property in less than a week. To compare with the competition, the day I met her, I also met 2 other agents from large Montreal firms and without a doubt, Amy appeared to me as the best choice. Clearly, she has the whole package: expertise, determination, flexibility, transparency, easy to communicate with, rates and the charisma. The dynamic team surrounding her is also one of her great asset (at least 3 members of her team contacted me for follow-ups/instructions, well beyond the regular business hours and even on Sundays). I also went to their office, which is impressive, and realize that their well organized and that their office set-up is top notch). One other thing that impressed me is that her "For sale" signs are bigger than the others, it really stands out. And most importantly, like my neighbor, I have sold my property within a few days at the right price and all went well after the accepted offer (visits, documentation, inspection, notary, etc.). To sum up, I totally recommend Amy, more than 100% - believe me, you won't regret it.
