He had been working with my mum and dad trying to find them somewhere they could move too so they could sell their house for over five years. Mum was very particular and it was not easy with her as she lived in the most gorgeous house and did not really want to move. Patience and kindness were how my mum talked about Jeff and a sense of humor. We lost both our parents this year and needed to sell their beautiful home. Great team to deal with. Only took several days to get our house sold at a price I was happy with, and I was surprised it was that fast. After selling, my wife and I began to look for another place to buy. Jeff was always accommodating and never let any questions I had texted him, go unanswered. Did their best to sell our house, provided staging, marketed and had a frequent open houses, and so they should have, as at the full 5% commission, they stood to make in excess of $40k. May not be a lot to some but that's greater than my personal annual salary. Upon closing, not even a call of congratulations, let alone a customary gift or even a thank you card. We were pretty easy clients, made repairs requested, accomodated staging, always allowed showings and were fair, if not generous, in all 5 negotiations, the 1st 4 of which fell apart through no fault of our own. Thought we had developed a great relationship but never heard from them again after the ink dried on a firm deal, except of course when the purchaser had questions the realtors should have known the answers to and when they asked us to leave behind window covering after they neglected to exclude them from the deal as directed. Overall left a bad impression. Thought we'd at least get a Christmas card given we closed November 30 but no such luck, not even after emailing them our forwarding address "just in case they had tried to send us something." Nope, they hadn't. They just thanked us for the info and asked US for a review and recommendation. So here's the review but no, no recommendation will follow.

Nick and the team are an awesome bunch! We came into the country in 2017 with no family and very little friends. We couldn't extend our stay in the Air bnb so we needed a place to rent urgently - with two young girls in a 'new' land - this was going to be tough! What made our story more interesting was we didn't have a car and didn't even know anywhere around. We got a contact details of different agents and of all the ones we reached out to, only Nick returned our call! And that's how our 'love relationship' started. Nick offered to come pick the whole family on several occasions and show us properties we could rent which met our specs. When we were about to rent another property which we didn't get through Nick. Buying a house in GTA can be extremely stressful especially when you are doing it the first time but with a great realtor it is much less stressful. He never pressured us to put an offer that we were not comfortable with, even when losing out on a few offers. He always provided lot of stats so we could come to a reasonable offer together. He never showed frustration even when the process dragged us out (mainly due to losing out on offers). He understood our requirements, accompanied us to all the listings that we liked, explained each and every clause on the offer. Hire a professional agent with a proven track record. What you think you might save in commission might cost you in landing your dream home or maximizing the value of your own. And... Listen to the professionals! If your stager says your beloved bookshelves and knick knacks must go then store them away! Paint the baseboards if recommended, etc. The work will be worth it in the end. Take it from us. Thank you Kate and team!
