Buying a house in another city 3 hours away is difficult no matter how you look at it-Buying one in an insane seller's market is a nightmare. When you are buying from a different city, the market is crazy with bidding wars, you are so far away and consistently making trips to your new city, your needs are a lot higher-You need someone who can be really on-the-ball and organized to make the best use of your time, as well as needing information on how to place a successful bid in an unfamiliar market. EMILY ORR was amazing-Super organized with multiple showings in a day, very responsive and really friendly and knowledgeable about the area. She really made best use of our limited time in town, got us in at late notice to see 6 houses in a day and facilitated a great offer. Not to mention, she is fantastic to deal with-very friendly and professional. She was also able to refer us to a great inspector at Buyer Aware, and other resources we need int eh area. She answered all of our questions-no question was too silly or weird, and she was very patient with our distance-client needs. We will definitely go back to her for our next move-If you aren't using Emily Orr @ Faris Team (Midland), you need to!
