(Translated) We had the pleasure of spending a big week at Villa sur le Lac and we had a dream vacation! The chalet is a luxurious gem on beautiful Lake Brompton, so warm and perfect for a group of up to 20 people. The rooms all equally comfortable and super well decorated. We slept so well on the beds as well as the high quality bedding and very comparable to 5 star hotels. The dream kitchen where we prepared delicious meals every day. There is absolutely nothing missing and every detail has been well thought out. Let’s not forget the custom-made dining table which can seat 14 people very comfortably. We even hired a Chef to cook us a sushi dinner at the Chalet, she confirmed that it was a dream kitchen and a dreamy dining table. The backyard is breathtaking… the children had hours of fun, we took advantage of the heated pool, spa, kayaks and paddle board. A big plus for the dozens of Adirondack chairs around the fire and the swing to admire the sunset. The land is also super well maintained. The chalet is 5 minutes from the Brasserie du Lac Brompton where we could enjoy a delicious seafood meal. What to say about Yanick and Claudia, they are 5 star hosts, always available to answer my thousand and one questions. Whether by email, text or phone, we had outstanding service. Hoping to go back in the summer of 2022 and this time we're crossing our fingers to be able to rent the pontoon and the seadoo! Haha (Original) On a eu le plaisir de passer une grosse semaine à la Villa sur le Lac et on a eu des vacances de rêve! Le chalet est un bijou luxueux sur le magnifique Lac Brompton , tellement chaleureux et parfait pour un groupe allant jusqu’à 20 personnes. Les chambres toutes aussi confortables les unes que les autres et super bien décorées. On a tellement bien dormi sur les lits ainsi que la literie de haute qualité et très comparable aux hôtels 5 étoiles. La cuisine de rêve où on a préparé de succulents repas à tous les jours. Il ne manque absolument de rien et chaque détail a été bien pensé. N’oublions pas la table à manger sur mesure qui peut réunir 14 personnes de façon très confortable. On a même engagé un Chef pour nous préparer un souper de sushis au Chalet, elle a confirmé que c’était une cuisine de rêve et une table à manger à faire rêver. La cours arrière est à couper le souffle… les enfants ont eu des heures de plaisirs, on a profité de la piscine chauffée, du spa, des kayaks et du paddle board. Un gros plus pour les dizaines de chaises Adirondack autour du feu et le balançoire pour admirer le coucher du soleil. Le terrain est super bien entretenu également. Le chalet est à 5 minutes de la Brasserie du Lac Brompton où on a pu déguster un délicieux repas de fruits de mer. Que dire de Yanick et Claudia, ce sont des hôtes 5 étoiles, toujours disponibles pour répondre à mes milles et unes questions. Que ce soit via courriel, textos ou telephone, on a eu un service hors pair. En espérant y retourner l’été 2022 et cette fois-ci on croise les doigts afin de pouvoir louer le ponton et le seadoo! Haha

The pizza oven allowed us to enjoy an excellent homemade pizza dinner. Nice experience with children. The neighborhood is very friendly in addition to offering excellent products (Bay market). To recommend without hesitation. (Original) Nous avons passé un super séjour au chalet l'Ancestral. Très bien situé dans les Cantons de l'est, le chalet porte bien son nom mais possède toutes les accomodations modernes utiles à un bon séjour. Le four à pizza nous a permis de déguster un excellent souper de pizza faite maison. Belle expérience avec les enfants. Le voisinage est très sympathique en plus d'offrir d'excellents produits (marché de la Bay). A recommander sans hésiter.

Large, clean, beautiful inside and out, a true "retro-modern", with functional and clean bathrooms. 4 bedrooms, functional and well maintained kitchen. Grand, propre, beau à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur, un vrai "rétro-moderne", avec des salles de bains fonctionnelles et propres. 4 chambres à couchers, cuisine fonctionnelle et bien entretenu.
