For those who won't read the entire review, here is the summary: Jacquie was awesome, I recommend her with my eyes closed. Now the detailed review: We came from Brazil to Canada a few years ago and we knew absolutely nothing about real state in Canada. Actually we didn't know anything about houses here (believe me, it's completely different from Brazil in all aspects). Jacquie was super patient with us, she ALWAYS responded my emails even quicker than I would (and I'm quick to respond emails). She spent a lot of time answering our questions, she gave us super honest opinions about the houses we selected and saw, and she also gave us lots of tips as new home owners in Canada. Summing up, she was great.

I usually don't write reviews unless my experience has been out of this world, and since this is pretty much a short story, I hope I've written enough to convey the INCREDIBLE experience we had. We started working with Jacquie back in October when looking for a house in the KW area, and we truly could not have been happier with our experience. Working with Jacquie was such a DELIGHT, it was truly our pleasure. During the house hunting process, Jacquie was happily willing to conduct virtual tours which was amazing given the pandemic. In each tour, she pointed out features and quirks that should be of importance to us—this knowledge was invaluable given that we were first-time homebuyers. Not only did she help educate us, she pointed us to further resources to give us peace of mind in having all of our questions answered. I feel as though the individuals who are best in their career paths are the ones who can also lift and educate those around them, and Jacquie was the embodiment of this for us. She is dependable and detail-oriented. She took the time to answer each of my emails with tons of questions and inquiries about properties I had seen on her portal. She was honest in telling us which areas to steer away from, and which to favour. We always felt like we were in good hands. In fact, we trusted her so much that we purchased the home in-person sight unseen! When it came time to putting in an offer, Jacquie sent these wonderfully designed, easy to read documents that laid out everything we needed to know in a clear way. She took the time to explain each detail in the paperwork and was fully transparent about the entire process, including how she is paid. She even pointed out the area where a % out of the buyers pocket could be snuck in to the paperwork. It was evident that Jacquie and TrilliumWest operate with a culture of honesty and excellence. Her communication was also on point. On offer day, she kept our minds at ease by updating us with the current number of offers every few hours. She never pressured us into putting in a higher offer. Instead, she gave us guidance and tangible resources on what a competitive market offer would be. Even after purchasing our home, our wonderful experience with Jacquie continued! She advised us on several things, including that we should book a visit to the home to ensure all of the appliances were in order before closing. These are things we wouldn't have done or known to do had she not told us. When it came to the date of closing, she followed up with the lawyers and ensured everything went well for us. When we arrived in our new home, the loveliest gift and card were waiting for us from the team at TrilliumWest! Since we are new to the area, she even included a handwritten note of suggestions and recommendations for food and activities in the area :') It was the most beautiful housewarming welcome. A couple months later, Jacquie followed up about our experience with the house and even offered resources to help us with the minor problems we had been experiencing. She even sent us an update on the selling prices of houses similar to ours within in the area to give us an idea of the appreciation in value of our home. In every opportunity, Jacquie never failed to impress us and go above and beyond. Our experience with Jacquie and TrilliumWest was impeccable and if I could give more stars, I would give the maximum amount. You will surely not regret going with TrilliumWest as I'm sure the entire team operates on the same level of excellence as Jacquie. If I could sum up our entire experience, I would say it did not feel like a business transaction, but rather like Jacquie was an incredibly kind, cheerful, and generous friend who only wanted the best for us. As executor of my father’s estate, I was responsible for selling the family home. One of the comparable houses used to determine an appraisal value of the property for probate purposes was located in the same area of the city and appeared to be a mirror image of my parent’s house. In my opinion, neither the street location nor the exterior appearance of that house was as attractive, but the interior had been totally updated. I contacted Thien Nguyen, the listing agent for that house, as I felt he would be in an excellent position to discuss with potential buyers similar updates that could be done to the house that my parents have owned for 37 years. I found that Thien provided sound advice and emphasized the need for expediency given current market conditions. But he also listened and took into consideration my input. I was pleasantly surprised when he organized and coordinated a thorough cleaning of the house and steam cleaning of the carpeting. He also engaged a house inspector. The completed report was available to any potential buyer – removing a common condition on any offer to purchase. Thien even consulted with a contractor to get a construction estimate of the cost for some updates. I especially appreciated his effort to prepare the house for sale as I do not live in the city. The MLS listing included a floor plan, and I felt that the professional photographs and virtual tour showed the house to advantage. The house was sold within a week of listing on MLS. We received multiple offers – all were above our asking price. Granted it is a seller’s market right now, but I believe that Thien’s efforts helped maximize the selling price. I have no hesitation in recommending Thien. He was very professional, quick to respond to my queries, and genuinely interested in doing a great job for us.
