I have also had an awful experience with Gareth Minke while dealing with him as a sellers agent. A lot of shady stuffwent down where i was in a bidding war with other buyers and he refused to do any paperwork and insisted that all offers be submitted verbally over the phone. i too was told that i won the auction and told to draw up the paperwork only to be told later on that the housewent to someone else, that offered less and had the same conditions. shame on you Gareth. and Shame on Royal Lepage for employing this man

This sounds like sour grapes from an unsuccessful and poorly represented buyer. Your fault, clearly! Check it out by asking real persons for a referral. You’ll find that Royal Lepage Grand Valley Realty, Mr. Askraba and his staff, and in particular Mr. Minke, uphold the highest standards of business ethics. Personally Mr. Minke has represented me and other members of my family to buy and sell properties. 100% satisfaction! Very easy to recommend someone and his brokerage who have their client’s best interest at heart!

In that time period I have utilized their service to sell a high priced home, purchased a mixed use commercial residential property as well as purchase a medium priced home. The knowledge and the service was second to none and I would have no hesitation to use or recommend their service again. I have nothing but the utmost respect for the agents, owners and managers. It is always puzzling why some people have to put on their troll costume and hide behind a keyboard to attack an individual or business. Having recently moved back to Waterloo from SF for work, I made the commitment to finally buy something in KWs. This was my first home purchase so I did my due diligence, asked my friends and colleagues to recommend an agent who would fit well with my A-type, detail oriented personally, read reviews and profiles online etc. Three of my colleagues recommended agents from the Grand Valley office and when I contacted broker Jade Ho, we clicked immediately. She was knowledgeable in all the areas that I was interested in, she was quick, honest, and most importantly, held herself to the highest standard when we had to go through the stressful exercise of multiple offers. In the end, I got my very first home and I couldn't be happier (and relieved). Thanks Jade and RLP!

0 Stars. Goran Askraba is the worse manager. It shows he is in denial that his office is great. Problems start from Signage which is incorrect on the outside and front, as per RECO guidelines. The office have poor management. Use Royal Lepage other offices which are great in the area. Training of agents will show in the dealings as Grand Valley is has terrible training methods. Lastly, it shows that due to Goran many agents are leaving Royal Lepage. Goran has a shady past. Lots of fraud activity and double ending of deals happening. Stay Away!

This is very odd and definitely hard to believe. I have been dealing with this particular real estate brokerage for almost 20 years and can only say good things about it. I bought quite a few properties over the years and dealt with many different agents. The service has always been exceptional. I would highly recommend this real estate firm to anyone because, unlike many others, they do a lot of good work in exchange for the commission received rather than just "bring the buyer and seller together" and charge money for preparing the purchase-sale agreement.
