Marcia is an absolute saint! When we decided to sell our house, we needed to do some repairs. After getting stuck with a less than stellar contractor, Marcia made the process bearable. She dealt with all the problems he was giving us, and when he STILL wasn't finished the day of our open house, Marcia and her amazing husband Ryan came in and helped us clean our house and get it presentable. We never would have been able to sell our house of it wasn't for the two of them. Not only that, she was able to help us find our dream home even with difficult criteria. We are a family of 6, and had a very tight budget. She was able to find us a big enough house, that was accessible for our son with a disability, while staying within our budget. Marcia is like a real estate guardian angel. We never would have been able to navigate the world of real estate without her and Ryan. They are both absolutely amazing. Here is why we would recommend Marcia and Ryan Grove Realty!!! Not only did I go to junior school with Marcia, I also had the privilege of working with her at the Waterloo Women's Club. She has been slaying the sales industry for 20 plus years. I trust them and appreciate the dedication they put into everything they do. When we decided we wanted to sell our home we reached out to Marcia and Ryan to sell our home and wow what an experience. They truly do stand out from others. We did have a bad experience with another realtor before so we were nervous. On our first meeting they took the time to really step us through the process, explaining everything along the way. They assured us that if at anytime we feel uncomfortable it doesn't have to happen. There was no pressure with Marcia and Ryan which is something you don't hear a lot when it comes to sales. They are both very strong in their knowledge base and it shows. When we decided to place our home on the market in their package they have a staging company help you with getting your home market ready. Alana Merritt from Rooms in Bloom Home Staging & Design Inc come in and give us some tips and tricks. Wow what a difference that made our rooms just looked so much more put together and functional - I kind of don't want to leave. Next the photos and videography were to be done and hands down they have the best in town (my opinion of course). Both Marcia and Ryan were there at our home making sure everything was top notch. Most agents don’t do that from what I have experienced in the past and when talking with others that have sold homes. Of course who can forget the social platforms. Marcia and Ryan made the listing look HOT!!! As soon as our house hit the market it was crazy how much positive feedback was given - not that I didn't expect it but one comment that stood out was "my client loves the home, very impressed and loved the pride of ownership". When it came time for our open house Marcia and Ryan ordered cookies from Q's Cakes & Café, had them personalized with our address and the colour of our front door. It was a such a nice touch - which I am sure where not only delicious but something the perspective buyers will defiantly remember. On Feb. 10, 2020 the time came to sit down and go through the offers. Ryan and Marcia walked us through all 21. YES I said it 21 ???? it was very overwhelming. They made it fun though. We got through 19 offers which were amazing but Ryan had 3 stashed away, the anticipation was killing us needless to say as we thought the first 19 were amazing offers. Marcia and Ryan, what can we say but Many Thanks!!! We left Toronto to move to Waterloo. We were working with another realtor when we first started our search. During our search we weren't able to close on our properties for a multiple of reasons and time was slowly running out! We had some of our great friend direct us to Marcia and Ryan at which point we cancelled our initial realtor agreement and got to work with Marcia. The first contact with Marcia, directed us the next day where we saw a home we loved and at which point we game planned with confidence.
