So first of all the people at remax in fernie are great. I’d definitely choose them for any kind of purchase. I’ve bought and sold a lot of properties and they are solid. With one exception. Sharon Taylor. She actually messed up a simple lease. Allowed me to commit to a place and bring a small dog. Then she took full payment in June and deposited the funds. She then refused to let me have the key and stated that I needed to lose the dog. She went on vacation and refused to refund my money while I stayed in a hotel for a week. Remax finally came around and sorted it out. Kind of. They forced me to sign another lease. So I recorded the conversation while signing. It was pretty funny. I ended up in the unit and now because of Sharon I’m leaving early. Found a better place. Sharon is by far the worst agent I’ve ever met. Go with remax but please she doesn’t have a clue what she’s doing. Good luck!
