We bought our first home 4 years ago and had a terrible experience with our realtor. When we moved in the house was a mess with garbage everywhere and when we told him we were brushed off. It was very clear that once the cheque cleared he didn't care anymore. We hired Tom Goodfellow as our realtor when we sold that home last summer and shared our previous experience with him in hopes of things being better this time. Tom absolutely blew away all our expectations. He was friendly, professional, and worked with us on whatever we needed. It was actually more like dealing with a friend than someone we had hired to sell our home. We ended up having 8 or 9 showings on the first day our home was listed and we didn't even make it to the open house. We had a couple hiccups through the selling process with our original buyer dropping out and then with the next buyer fighting with us over some things in the home after they had moved in. Tom was supportive through everything and even after the sale was complete was still calling and texting to see how we were doing with everything. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a realtor.

Suffice to say, Josh is the consummate professional taking us through the sale and purchase process. I was referred to Tom by a friend after my first realtor failed to complete the sale of my country house in 90 days. After listing with Tom it was sold in 3.5 weeks. He answered all my questions and always replied in short order. Having my own business as well, I try to make each client feel like they are the only one. I got that in return from Tom. My offer was misread by $10,000 less by this company (the seller's agent). This caused the house sold at less than my offer price. Based on sold value revealed date, candidates had the same only condition (mortgage). Having the seller made the decision to sell at a lower price is one thing, not presenting the true value of an offer is the real issue.
