I wasn't fully aware of what I was looking for in the beginning and would have been lost without his support. He was very knowledgeable and honest with me. Early on, he took me to several showings so I could get a sense of what was out there, but also so he could get a better sense of what I wanted. In the middle of a crazy time for house sales, he reached out saying he found a house that he thought would be a good fit. He was absolutely right, the house was exactly what I wanted. Outstanding Job. We were not shocked in the slightest when he told us that he pulls over to read emails as all responses were within minutes. He worked around our schedules and made sure to pass along any information as soon as he received it. This whole process has been largely seamless thanks to Jeremy. With a very unique situation... Jeremy came through for us. Moving from Alberta to New Brunswick is a big deal for most people. Doing it with the covid restrictions makes it even harder. With no real option except to purchase a property sight unseen off the internet added another hurdle. I worked with Jeremy as a 19-year old student looking to find a home to buy as I was tired of paying others for rent. While searching online, I came across Jeremy on his website, and ended up going to see a home. He was always upfront, giving his own opinion on a property, even saying what he would even consider buying himself, and not simply just trying to make a sale. After a very arduous couple months, looking at many properties, we finally found one that suited our needs, and in putting in an offer, was always aggressive, but respectful in choosing price points, saving us a few thousand. When we went to flip the house, again, he was there to help, even with not generally being a selling agent. Overall, even though he knew he would not be getting much of a commission, as we were buying on the lower end of the price range, he was always available to help. Anyone that has decided to put their house up for sale during the last couple years will know that things have changed in Fredericton. A once static, relatively reliable housing market is not currently our "normal". This change means that our go to resource for selling our homes, the real estate agent, has to adapt. Jeremy Deering understands this. It's a fact that people get emotionally attached to their homes and often struggle with the reality of what the house is worth. The bottom line is your house is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Jeremy will provide researched and educated advice on what price you should list your house for or where to start negotiations on a house you want to buy and will walk you through the entire process using current technology available along the way (i.e. signing and viewing documents electronically, etc.). After a long time on the market I relisted my house with Jeremy which finally sold this past month. I then used his services to purchase my new house. After showing me countless homes and exercising extreme patience dealing with my overly detailed nature we found my dream home through research and very tough negotiations. Every time I step through my front door I have a feeling of incredible happiness and pride as I did not ever think I would find a place so perfectly matched to my personality while staying in my price range. As we looked for our new home in New Brunswick (moving from AB) we stumbled over a property in Fredericton (an area we weren't really looking in actively) and our Moncton Agent sent us Jeremy's way ... and we are very glad she did. Jeremy immediately made time for us as given the current market conditions (moving rapidly) and being familiar with the property/area was able to fill us in on it instantly ... knowing it would move fast ,and not wanting us to miss out he scheduled a walk-through. From referral to Jeremy and his going onsite to walk us through the property was only a few hours where Jeremy was able to do a video walk-thru and spent a lot of time answering our questions and curiosities. We kept Jeremy working late that night as we submitted an offer that evening that was accepted. We greatly appreciated the flexibility and prompt action on his part as at noon that day he didn't know us and by 9PM that evening we were doing a real estate offer on our new home with him. But that was just the beginning ... He was then there for us and stayed in constant touch as we navigated the remaining real estate hurdles, and had great advice and recommendations in how to deal with some "bumps" on our closing road including lender complications, closing date issues, inspection, etc. Jeremey also went onsite again during the inspection to conference us in for the debrief and decision point regarding conditions. Through it all he was our advocate and kept looking out in our best interest, and we felt comfortable in doing a remote real estate transaction without every seeing or touching the property. We made it clear at the outset that we were entrusting a lot to Jeremy given our remoteness (Alberta), and that we were a bit anxious about it ... Jeremy didn't flinch, worked to calm us through the process, and came through for us with flying colours in getting us into our new Home.
