Kelsey is awesome at her job. She cares about getting you into the place that's right for you and will go the extra mile to make her buyers happy. When you sign on with her she'll provide you with a small booklet she created to step you through everything you need to know from banks, to insurance, to utility hookups. She'll also pretty much arrange for everything so you really just need to pick your place and she'll coordinate. I had hit a few bumps in the road while house hunting and Kelsey was super patient,, accommodating, and she handled the problems professionally/discretely. Once I had figured out what I needed to do she had prearranged pretty much everything for me so I just had to go on cruise control and wait for my possession date. You'll notice too that she is a veritable encyclopedia of knowledge with everything house oriented - ranging from soil conditions, basement bracing, pricing, foundations, drywall, and pretty much anything else you can think of. Professional, diligent, innovative and personable are just a few words we would use to describe Kelsey. Kelsey was our Realtor for the purchase of our first home. She explained each step of the real estate purchase process, and even provided us with a Buyer’s Guide booklet, which not only had the different stages of the buying process, but also had contact information for possible services we would need as new home owners. We are new to Canada with young children and Kelsey gave us suggestions for family-friendly neighbourhoods. She noted our search criteria, and never bombarded us with houses that did not match our criteria. We felt like she actually took the time to make sure what she was sending us matched our criteria. If there was a house that she thought would be nice for us, but did not meet our criteria exactly, she would send it to us and explain why she thought it could work for us. Kelsey did not try to get us to just buy a house, and she never tried to get us to settle, she worked really hard to make sure that we bought a house we loved. Whenever we looked at a house that we ended up not making an offer on, Kelsey would always offer encouraging words and let us know the right house will come. After weeks of looking with no success, Kelsey offered to send a mail out to house owners in our desired neighbourhoods. She wrote the letter and went house to house to deliver. We can’t stress it enough – Kelsey worked hard to ensure we got a house we loved. For the house we ended up buying, Kelsey fit us in for a showing on a very busy evening for her - even though it was a last-minute request, and we had previously told her we would stop house hunting for 2017. She worked late into the night to get us the market assessment so that we could decide how much to offer for the house. During negotiations, there were issues with some appliances and she listened to our concerns and relayed them to the sellers’ Realtor. She was able to negotiate a deal that was fair to us. After closing, Kelsey checked in to see how things were going and even arranged to remove junk left behind by the previous owners. We are very pleased to have had Kelsey as our Realtor. If we ever decide to sell and/or buy again, we would use her for our Realtor again. We highly recommend her!
