First time here - I requested a Thai noodle plate of mixed greens which was scrumptious. The individual taking my request was extremely useful and amicable. The nourishment came rapidly which was pleasant during the bustling lunch break. The stylistic layout is provincial and easygoing and it was charming to sit and converse with my lunch partners whike we ate. I felt like the menu is acceptable incentive for the cash and I would visit again next time I am around.

Passing through FSJ. Place recommended by a local. One meal came out fine but the other took another 10 minutes and was a plate of heavily burnt pancakes. If this was a big city and not an oil service town in the sticks they would have got one or two stars for trying to hide the worst side of the burnt pancakes (we saw what you did there). They replaced the pancakes without issue and the second set were fine and the jam and coffee were very good.

Just popped in for a coffee while waiting for a friend to pick me up, and I’m glad I did. The cafe is quite big, but it still had a very cozy feel. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and service was prompt. The cappuccino I had was good, the espresso strong and foam silky. If I’m ever in Fort St. John again I’ll have to try something from the menu here. I also loved the wall of Hogwarts Houses. Definitely gave a cafe a bit of a charming, nerdy appeal!

A perfect blend of small town cafe, cultural finesse and a perfect example of the java house vibe. I ordered a London fog and a Donair here, and both were great. The Donair especially was noticeable, as it was akin to some of the Donairs I've had in Steveston, BC (best local donairs ever).

First time here - I ordered a Thai noodle salad which was delicious. The person taking my order was very helpful and friendly. The food came quickly which was nice during the busy lunch hour. The decor is very rustic and casual and it was enjoyable to sit and talk with my lunch companions whike we ate. I felt like the menu is good value for the money and I would definitely visit again next time I'm in town.

This is a very popular spot in FSJ. Fun place to meet friends. Food is good with pretty basic, but tasty fare. My only complaint would be that it is a rather noisy place, but it's a great place to run into friends and acquaintances from town.

Amazing breakfast/lunch spot, located downtown in Fort St. John. The ‘mainline’ breakfast is a great if you feel like a traditional bacon and egg breakfast. For a healthy alternative, they also have the a yogurt, fruit and granola breakfast (called the whole wheat and honey?) that’s delicious. Amazing coffee and lattes as well.

I decided to grab a coffee here and from the minute I walked in the whole atmosphere made me uncomfortable. From the strange looks I received from customers to the total ignoring from staff I felt totally un welcome. Now I'm used to this snobby, elitest attitude from big city establishments but not here. I don't know why this over priced joint gets so many good reviews, I've had better treatment and service at McDonald's, they could learn a few things from them. I ended up walking out and going over to the coffee shop in the cultural center where I was actually treated like a valued customer.

My recent experience has been anything but great, the scones were the best anywhere, however I've gotten several over the past couple weeks and they are extremely dry, over baked, tastless and simply not edible, whoever is in that kitchen making them needs a baker to show how they are to be properly made, it's a huge disappointment. Scones should be light, flaky, buttery, theses are anything but that. Won't be wasting my hard earned $$ on something that is clearly no good. On the other hand, the chickens appreciated them.
