Fort St. John Airport (also known as North Peace Regional Airport) has been my primary airport for as long as I've lived in Dawson Creek. Without any major commercial airlines connecting to major airports, I resort to Fort St. John to fly out to many locations across Western Canada. The airport is clean well laid out and has friendly staff. Every time I fly from YXJ, I have no issues and my flight has always departed on time or even early. I will still continue to use YXJ, if needed when WestJet comes to Dawson Creek, shall I need a direct flight or a more time effective connection.

Nice regional airport. Friendly staff, clean facilities, comfortable departure lounge. I had to knock on the door to the CMA staff area to check my bag, but only because I arrived a bit on the late side for my flight. For those renting cars - please note there are no gas stations close by. Fill up in town before heading to airport so you don’t have to turn around and go back like I had to :)

It is a great little airport, I wish it was called Fort St. John Airport instead of north peace or whatever. I found it efficient, well organized and clean. It has few car rental companies on site. The spicy fusion restaurant here is good place to eat. It has a good selection of menu items. Staff here are courteous and helpful. They let me retrieve my already checked bag to put some liquids which was in my carry on by mistake. Overall a good airport with very nice artifacts displayed.

Good airport for a smaller town. Spicy fusion is a great place to eat. Great Indian food as well as burgers etc. Fast free Wifi. Car rentals on site. Clean modern building. The best airport I have been to for finding outlets as they have a ton of seating with outlets.

It took ground crews nearly three hours to unstick a frozen parking brake, a procedure that should be no more than 15 minutes. Given that the climate of the area means there will be at least two weeks of minus 30 cold each year, it is unacceptable to not understand how to deal with this properly and efficiently.

It is a airport. It fulfills the absolute bare minimum of being a airport. Only 4 stars cuz let's be honest, who actually "likes" airports? They're a building that encompasses so many of life's stresses. Paying outrageous amounts of money on things that should be free, having your privacy invaded by strangers and having to be in close proximity to crying infants. Seriously. There should be a whole separate airline that caters to families with small kids so they can stop infesting all the other airlines with their annoying presence.

A small clean and bright airport that could handle a jumbo jet if it had to due to its large landing strip from the building of the Alaska Highway. Car rentals are available at the airport. Food is available but not all hours. Fort St John is only ten minutes away- a dream when most airport trips are hours long in major cities. You’ll get wind year round and since you’ll have to walk off your airplane, brace yourself in the winter! Great view of the beautiful Peace anytime you arrive. Most importantly, the staff are pleasant and friendly. This reflects the heart of the Peace and that the people there are its most valuable resource.

A small regional airport that is very easy to navigate. AirCanada had very helpful staff and we enjoyed a hot dinner in the restaurant. The local Museum had great cultural displays as well.

It's a nice small airport. Staffs all friendly. The only sad part I see is they took away two hrs free parking n made it 30 minutes. It should be at least an hour.

Have to line up to check bags in a different spot than where you check in. No sign saying which flight was boarding and speakers where impossible to hear clearly. Despite covid, small airport, and early .opening flight, two flights where boarding at the exact same time and place making the gate overflow with people.

It's a small airport but all the workers here are great at their jobs from check in, checked bags to even the security. Any time I've had problems with my luggage they were very professional, polite, and clear about how to proceed. Its also generally very clean.

While I was at the airport for 2-3 hours, there was power outage for almost 9-10 times and places like airports should be taken care of very well in terms of maintenance, technical issues and so many other stuff. Due to power outage, Airlines were not able to do any boarding for the passengers, no security check, and no other machines were working either. This is a shame to Airport Authority of FSJ. In front of the airport, it was so slippery and icy that it was almost impossible to walk.
