Better later than never....We bought our first home in August 2017... Andrea Briscoe @ Liv Real Estate was our agent in helping us buy our first home. She was extremely patient with us and the many questions we had, and was very knowledgeable in answering those questions. She had done her research and was able to provide us with advice in terms of how to proceed, what to offer, what to look for, recommendations, etc, in terms of making an offer, home inspection, and mortgage referrals. She assured us she got no benefit from this, only to ensure that her clients were taken care of, which I believe. In any event, the people she referred us to for home inspection and mortgage assistance were super knowledgeable and really awesome. We got a super great rate on our mortgage and the home inspector provided a very detailed ~80 page document setting out their findings of the house we made an offer on within a day. We also got the house for, I believe, a fair price, given what other similar houses were going for in the area over the past few months. Andrea will work hard to get the best result for you. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy a home.

The first time we requested online to see a property with Liv Realty, Dylan Lamrock popped up with a friendly response. He was knowledgeable and willing to meet us the next day to check out various properties. Once we met him, we knew immediately he was down to earth and not simply looking to make money. He genuinely cares about the happiness of his clients. While on the hunt, he continued to respect our time, often filling his weekends and evenings to help us view houses. He consistently answered our (sometimes random) questions and did so with patience and a smile. His low-pressure discussions, which included the pros and cons of each of the houses we viewed, made us continue to search for properties with him - solely. Whenever we'd go into a house, he was willing to show us not only the positives but also the downfalls so that we did not get roped into a bad deal we might come to regret. It's rare in business to find someone who is willing to sacrifice their own pay cheque to ensure that someone else's pay cheque is safely used; Dylan did this for us several times when we found less than adequate houses upon viewing. Despite these unfortunate setbacks, he continued to stay positive and reassured us that he would find the right house for us. He was right! When we finally found the house we were wanting to put an offer on, he worked quickly with us to ensure we could close the deal and that we wouldn't miss out on the home of our dreams. Although Dylan could have taken the easy way and simply had us sign forms digitally, etc., instead, he was willing to drive across the city to ensure we could meet in person. This allowed us to be thoroughly informed of all documents and steps that would follow. He was professional and clearly communicated what we needed to do in order to be effective in the purchase of our first home. Dylan diligently worked with the seller's realtor to ensure that our needs were 100% met. He went above and beyond to ensure we got the best deal possible and was consistently available to listen to any concerns we had or any questions we could think of about closing the sale. It was our first home buying experience and he made it seamless. The deal was done quickly and efficiently. I have to admit, I was a little bit skeptical when a friend first pointed me in Angel's direction. Is one real estate agent really any different than the next, I wondered? They all want the same thing, quick sales, and lots of them...at least that's what I thought. And then I met Angel. From the first time I met Angel, I found her to be very informative, and she walked me through the process of buying property – something that was very important, as there are many moving pieces when you get to the point of actually making an offer. I was able to take in the information when I had a clear head, and Angel was able to explain everything in such a way that even a clueless first-time buyer like me could understand. Never once did I feel like Angel saw me as another quick sale. She was happy to answer my hundreds of questions (literally), and always in a timely manner. If I found another property I wanted to look at, she was on it. And most importantly, I never felt that Angel was telling me what I wanted to hear in order to convince me to buy a place. She is just a consummate professional. While I agree with the other comments that have been made about Angel, I thought I'd provide a few important bits of information that may not have been mentioned yet: 1) If you happen to be traveling to a viewing with Angel, and you get stuck in rush hour traffic, she will *find* snacks in her car for you to share. 2) If you're traveling with Angel in her car, she always take your safety into consideration, and protects you from oncoming traffic by not making any left turns! 3) Angel is full of fun facts! Without giving away any of her best information, ask her about watching garbage being sorted in Edmonton! Although I can't say that Angel ever did laundry for me (see other comments), there's not a doubt in my mind that she'd be happy to help if I asked her to do a load...or to walk my (hypothetical) dog...or babysit my (hypothetical) children. All-in-all, Angel is just super accommodating and always willing to help! Whether you're a first time buyer like me, or onto property number 5 or 25, you'd be wise to contact Angel and see how she can help you!

As a first time homebuyer, the process of purchasing a new home is very daunting. The stars aligned the day I clicked "request a showing". Within hours, I received a reply from Allison Meston. Absolutely horrific agent, they have an agent named Angela Thassone, called her multiple times didn't answer, my realtor called me and said call her now she will answer, called her again she texted me and said i don't want to talk to you, you can talk to your realtor. Her only job is to talk to clients, she is representing Art homes. They should pull all their listings from her before they loose more clients.
