Honestly, we were not too sure what to expect, and we had very high hopes of getting a new home for our family. Gerard has definitely exceeded our expectations in many ways. He was very attentive to what we liked and didn't like, and remembered along the way so that when we'd come up with listings, he was comfortable letting us know what we might not like about it, or steer us towards listings that might catch our interest. Once we found a place we wanted, he definitely was walking along with us, giving us information along the way of things we should be on the lookout for, not just from a purchasing perspective, but from a building perspective as well. Now we just need a stack of business cards so we can start spreading his name all over town. Gerard, you rock!

Highly recommended, you will have nothing to worry about with him working for you. We met Gerrard by chance and we're so glad we did. I was wary and exhausted of all real-estate agents and fed up with all the referrals and transfers so meeting Gerrard was like a breath of fresh air. Right away we knew he was different because instead of waxing poetic about all the benefits having a toilet next to the fridge could bring (yes this happened), or trying to intimidate us into snatching up a house that would 'guarantee not last on the market' - he quietly inspected the house along us, pointed out flaws and things to watch out for and would point blank tell us if something was overpriced or just plain not worth it. Something no other realtor had come close to doing. We never felt rushed, intimidated or pressured with him. Gerrard answered all our questions and if he didn't know would actually get back to us with a text that same day. If we found a house late one evening, he could get us in to see it first thing the next morning, he was extremely flexible and always available in person or by phone. Never left you hanging. But what really impressed and led me to trust him completely was how he handled the bidding for our house, instead of making a conservative bid that would garner him more commission- he drove a hard, fast and smart bid that saved us thousands. Even after the sale Gerrard was still there to help us smooth over details that had nothing to do with him. Overall he truly made us feel valued and comfortable with our first home purchase, I couldn't bee happier with my new house and I know it is because of how quickly Gerrard got us in to see it (first day on market, first viewers, first bidders!). Our only pointer would be to find your own broker- although after our experience I'm sure Gerrard will not be recommending his any longer.

I purchased a home in British Columbia, as a result Janelle could not be my realtor. I was in an unfortunate situation where the realtor I found was representing both the seller and myself. In turn I relied on Janelle to help me with details. When the seller and I agreed on the selling price a contract was written up. There was a $10,000 error in the selling price on the contract from what we had agreed upon and neither the seller, the realtor or myself saw it. Apparently none of us read the contract! There has to be better ways to drum up customers than cold-texting random numbers, pretending you're dealing with an actual client. I received two separate texts in two weeks using two different names. Particularly frustrating because I had replied that you had the wrong number to that first one. Really underhanded tactic, if you ask me. I know of other real estate teams who have more integrity than this. Edit: there's definitely a miscommunication here. I didn't sign up on your website with my phone number, my issue was with the unsolicited text, that's all. I do appreciate the quick response and follow-up, and I do hope I won't receive any further texts.
