As a first time home buyer, I went through so many mortgage specialists who would either ghost me or reject me seeing as my income was not high or for reasons they couldn't even properly explain to me. I was sad, frustrated and annoyed. I had also lost my father and wanted to buy a house to honor him for his birthday and one year death anniversary. My family and I have lived in a two-bedroom apartment all of our lives so after losing our father, we wanted a fresh start. I reached out to Jaskiran Attar (Jassi) who belongs to Ali & Chris Homes. My family and I spent so much time with her as our home buying purchase was a difficult journey. We went from buying a first home to renting and then back to buying. We faced many hiccups and challenges throughout this entire process but Jassi always stayed calm, positive, optimistic and encouraged us to never give up. The quality I liked most about her was her ability to always find a solution during set backs and inconveniences. When someone is grieving, it is very difficult to get through them and sometimes even work with them. Jassi however never gave up on me. She always answered my questions, sent me everything I asked for and went beyond her way to make sure I was able to purchase a home that I wanted (style wise and at my preferred time frame). Jassi was punctual, efficient, sincere, sympathetic and displayed so much warmth towards us. She made house hunting fun so we never got tired even after visiting so many different houses and getting our offers rejected. Unfortunately, I never got the opportunity to meet her team but I knew that Jassi was updating my home buying journey to them. Her team would always give her their feedback which I appreciated. If I have to do this house buying journey another time, I would choose Ali & Chris Homes without a doubt. Today, I am at my new home and was able to perform my father's death anniversary rituals at the new house. The experience with this team has been nothing short from amazing. We had to list our home very last minute, before leaving on an extended trip. Within a few days, we were listed, got a complimentary staging consultation which helped tremendously, and had our photoshoot done. During our trip, we got constant updates, had an open house, and sold our home, all in a matter of less than 1 week. Ali was there for the inspection and even had to empty out our closets and tidy them up for the inspector. Every broker we spoke with told us how we would need to declutter and stage the property, which seemed like we’d have virtually empty our entire house.
