2020 has been a crazy year in any profession and real estate has not been untouched. While being declared an essential service during this Covid-19 pandemic was a relief, it was also frightening. That's why I'm so happy to be part of EXIT Realty Seaway Family and so glad to have the leadership of our Broker of Record/Owner, Henrietta Duvall, working with us each and every day. Especially during this time. Not only did she make sure we knew what protocols we needed to follow to keep ourselves and our clients safe, she made everyone of us and our family members face masks :). And now, that things are opening up somewhat, and the real estate market is booming, Henrietta has creatively redesigned our modern office space with transparent barriers to keep all of us safely working and training together but not feeling isolated. I love being part of this great team.

The most important things that keeps me engaged as a Real Estate Sales Representative is the camaraderie of the representatives, the broker support, a very knowledgeable administrator and the training that is provided. When something new or different comes up, you can be assured the broker is including it into our meetings so that everyone is in the know. I'm a first time buyer and wasn't sure what to expect. My realtor was Anthony [Tony] Joubert and he was amazing! Very friendly and down to earth. He is quite knowledgeable about the area and also the whole process of how buying a home works (I had endless questions upon questions lol). I was really nervous and overwhelmed before I drove 5 hours to Cornwall to see a few properties we were interested in. Not too mention I had already spent a month of numerous long drives in other areas of Ontario with no luck and was starting to get discouraged. And we did not have anything close to the positive experience with some realtors as we had with Tony. It was like the others kept suggesting properties that were the opposite of our parameters and way out of our price range.
