I want to commend Richard and Jennifer Oord for their professionalism their patience and their humanity Many a time, I got discouraged and Richard was always there to lift my spirit while Jennifer searched and found the best deals . They accompanied me through my voyage in Europe and shared my enthusiasm for Venice or Paris.! I felt like my agent (dual agency...never again) was working for the sellers instead of me. Multiple times when we put in counter offers or offered more expedient closing dates it was brought up that the sellers were "elderly" or " in poor health". No disrespect but this is a business transaction, my agent should be advising not arguing with me about what we are offering. On one occasion we were at a stalemate in negotiations and coming up on a midnite deadline, rather than advising or offering some sort of possible solution, my agent texts me at 1030pm to say "text me to let me know what you're decision is, I'm going to bed" On top of that, we come to find out the washer (included and stated in good working order) needs major repair or replacement, and when items listed as inclusions were absent from the property our realtor pointed out other left items stating "well that's worth more than the value of those other things" Although agreed upon, the house was NOT properly cleaned. In order to help close the deal our agent offered to pay for a cleaning service. She showed up with a housewarming gift and the keys but its it's been 3 weeks, still havent seen that cleaning fee. When we brought up financial restitution on closing day, I was told that they couldnt help as the other agent had already taken a cut in their commission (confidential information???) And then I come to find out that our agent had called my lawyers office without my knowledge (serious overstep of boundaries here). I thought agents were there to ensure everything is good to go when a transaction goes thru. Guess not...seems to me they are just there for the paycheck. Overall, nope, never again. Next time call Fanny Bodart or Jason Munn

Shady....the realtor had a scam going with the exterminator next door, told me I had mold in my attic. I did commercial extermination in ontario for years. They billed me 700 for spraying mold. I confronted the exterminator who gave me my money back. The realtor also tried to tell myself and the lawyer that my house sold for asking price, it did not but she submitted a bill for the asking price. The realtor forgot to attend an open house at my house, really. A total lack of service and professionalism. Do not use this business.

1) Realtor is NOT your realtor. We typically sign the "dual agency" agreement. But that doesn't mean my realtor will do anything bad to me, right? WRONG. My listing realtor sided with the other party, fighting against me. I asked whether they are on my side or not. They replied that because I signed the dual agency agreement, they will take the other party's side. So give up, you are in this alone. Both realtors will side with the other party. There is no MY REALTOR, it's all THEIR REALTOR. 2) Realtor will reveal all your personal information The realtor exposed the other party's personal information to me, including where they work, what they do for a living, and the fact that they are sexual minority, as well as them suffering a breakup. They have clearly crossed the line revealing private information. I never even asked for this. It was so random and off-topic. Be mindful that your realtor, without your consent and knowledge, will begin spreading your personal information. You will also be in a very awkward position hearing these from the realtor.

The real estate agent representing the seller reached out to my banker without my knowledge or consent, late in the evening, to request a "comfort letter" that my finances were in place, after the offer was already accepted. This was extremely embarrassing and unprofessional. The closing date was a week and a half ago and I've now had to call twice to have it removed and was told it might not even be today. I will never recommend Exit Realty, and would advise people to stay away if this is accepted behaviour.
