He went well beyond the job description in getting our dream property for us and made a complicated process simple and low-stress. At the beginning of our association he listened carefully to what we were looking for, asking detailed questions and developing a deep understanding of what would work for us and what wouldn't. He was patient. Each property he found would be presented with specific local knowledge, information he had sourced online and his careful thoughts on suitability. We were looking for remote properties, not your standard house-in-the-city - this is where Michael's experience shined - he knew the gotchas, the pitfalls of such properties - and was careful and dedicated in his research on each property. We did eventually find the ideal property - and it was quite remote - but Michael applied his calm tenacity and uncovered numerous important details that clarified for us exactly what we were buying. One example of the dedication and attention to detail Michael displays - when it came time to inspect the property, Michael brought a wetsuit and fins to dive and inspect the dock in freezing cold water !
